The demand for grain normally comes up after your 6th day on the farm Daggerwin and if you click on the logs once you have cut them, using the green maker on the chainsaw, then there disappear, Loving your vids bud

+Daggerwin Great vid. You could get more money out of the firewood mod if you delimb all the branches / leaves and then add the sections of trunk to the firewood pallets by going up to them with the chainsaw, getting a blue disc on the trunk then press the Q key. The sections have to be between 0.1 and 1.99 metres.

daggerwin, got a tip for you, when your using straw for livestock use barley straw because it's the best straw for livestock as it is the most edible (by animals of course)☺

Hi Dagger. Great video, like it a lot. As regards the price you get for bales, if you sell a load then wait a little while and then sell some more the price does change as it goes down a little. I believe you had mentioned about using the bale extension mod in a past video? I've just started using it and you get a more realistic price for the bales (not totally realistic though I don't think) plus it adds more to the game

Daggerwin. Watching these videos back and u said not just doing harvesting, I'm trying to diversify what I do. Yeh, but if its agriculture farming then the main bit is Harvesting, Mowing, Cultivating etc. Its about HARVESTING etc. When he said this was at 12.30 ish in the video
Good video, I'm playing in thornton myself aswell and it is a bit monotonous to start because you only own the 2 huge fields. Still a very good map. By the way, the amount of straw is not affected by soilmod since soilmod does not affect windrows. Same goes for grass unless you direct harvest it with a forage harvester with grass cutter for example. If you only cut the grass for windrows fertilizing it does nothing. (unfortunately)
don't keep on saying negitive things say good things because you have a good UA-cam and ignore the overs who say mean stuff keep it up
Idk why, but I started laughing so hard when the follow me mod almost ran him over one he was like "my work force is terrible" ur vids are awesome keep it up! I find the repetitiveness of the fieldwork very relaxing and ur vids help me de-stress, to thanks I guess lol ❤️😂

Awesome video , mate. I was just wondering - when you find some extra time ,could you try to find a mod for one of those tractors with all wheels in the same ( huge :-) ) size, I think it‘s a COUNTY or Ford ,don‘t remember ,would look really interesting on this map :-):-):-)
Hey daggerwin great vid as always. But do you know how to get higher fps on fs, because i get like around 15-20 fps and it's pretty anoying.
Maybe change video setting that should help if it doesnt upgrade pc or if you have some mods,mods can make allot of problem for the game
I think you have completely misunderstood what the firewood mod does. Every time you make a cut in a log, it adds some wood to your pallet, and some wood chippings into your woodchips pile. This just represents the saw dust that you would get and the offcuts of wood. But you can still sell the large logs that you cut, but cutting them into 1m lengths is probably not a good idea, as it is going to make collecting them and transporting them that much more difficult. I usually cut mine into 5m or 6m lengths. I think what I would do with those small 1m lengths is just put them in a pile somewhere and later on just chip them up.
think you missed part of the functionality of the mod aswell. After cutting the wood in pieces of between 0,1 and 1,99m you can press Q and it will disappear and be added to the pallet.
Well, I didn't know that. Is that something new? Course, I never really tried doing that, so I would never have known. I will give that a try next time I use the mod. Thanks for correcting me.
Don't know if it's new, I just downloaded the latest version a little while ago and it worked like that, don't know about older versions.

Quick Question: If I plant a crop such as Sunflower or another non-base game crop, can every combine harvest it or only special modded ones?

Have you tried removing it and downloading the latest version? there is link to the correct version in the download description from the map.

daggerwin, next time you do forestry, please try, picking up the logs to chip ect, you might earn even more money and they are nice and small logs which should make it more realistic :)
I feel for you with hay fever! I have very bad hay fever and i dont know about u but i have to take medication everyday to stop like swelling up haha

Can any on helpI added soil mod and dirt/mud mod to knaveswell and now when I drive over crops it makes either straw or grass and not a clear line
It's the dirt mod that has crop destruction in it since the latest version. either remove that mod or just be carefull of how much you drive over the crops.
If you plough the field before you cultivate it it stops the amount of weeds that appear in the fields after words

Daggerwin, don't be put off by people being negative about your lets plays. If you want to do forestry then do forestry - you are the one who's spending hours on this map and if your viewers don't like it, they don't have to watch your videos.

You know you don't detach implements by lifting with hands you use the jack that lifts its off the hitch so could you unhook from out of the tractor
with one of the rent mods if you save game you will have the rented mashen as a bought implement
In Ireland, we can get buy round bales for 20 to 30 euros delivered.

dagger a really cheap way of washing ur tractor/implements is to speed up time until it rains and then let the rain wash away the mud on ur tractor/implements
It would cost him are all the crops that are in the fields because they would wither. Probably cheaper to buy a pressure washer.

How did you change the interval days to 2. every time i try it doesn't do anything.
Make sure you have the game closed while editing the config file. Also make sure you are in administrator mode or it might not want to overwrite the old file.
I have already explained how to change the game interval days on soilmod, all you have to do is look back on previous episodes to find it. I know I explained it on the Knaveswell map, and did it again for someone on this map.
really nice of you that you help people Shaun but do you really think that the easiest way to find the answer is too watch back older videos and go looking for your comment amongst 100's?

The trouble is that posts tend to get lost in UA-cam comments over time and I can't keep telling people how to do things with soilmod, so the best advice I can give people is to go and download all of the mod instructions from the soilmod download site, and read up on it. Everything is explained, and that is how I learned everything.
