99% of what you review is not sold in my country but I save these anyway just in case come across one during travels. Some reviews of yours stand out and really make me want to try it, and this one is one of them! I'm sold 😄

Loved this review, I have never smoked this one. Loved that you stated what you didn't like but did say if someone was looking for something with the nut tasting it could be perfect for them. All our pallates/tastes are different.

Thank you for being so straightforward and price conscious.

I think you would like the Black, it’s great. Not an Aromatic.

A great honest review. Lately I have been enjoying blends by the Country Squire. They seem to have a knack for making wonderful blends.

Do you mind elaborating? I'm looking into getting a few(maybe the sample platter...). I recently emailed them and got a great response.

@@hisnameisiam808 I have tried their English Blends, Baker Street (excellent), Cornishman (excellent) and their aromatics, Hunting and Cherokee. The Virginia I enjoy is Tidewater. These are the ones currently in my rotation. I just order Choctaw and, Black and Tan, blends. So far the blends I have tried are well made, consistent, and well balanced for my taste.

When you opened the tin and took the bag out, it didn’t look like it was vacuum sealed at all. I would assume unless you’re an extremely fast smoker, this would need to be jarred?

I had already opened it. It was vacuumed sealed originally

I like these reviews… by any chance, are any of the Caribbean Blue tins by Kohlhase & Kopp on your list??

Love the tin. I'm a sucker for Christian aesthetics on my tobacco tins. That's why I bought my first tin of Presbyterian mixture - I kept it cause it smokes real nice. We need more tobaccos with Christian designs on the tins, it may make the rest of the parish council warm up to my pipe hobby lol

Agreed. I'd love to do a colab with a pipe tobacco company with that in mind

@@TheSpurgeonPiper make a 1689 blend to counter the success of Presbyterian. It's the same blend but all moisture content is absent until the blend makes a profession of faith

As both a pipe and cigar smoker, I really don't think on pipe tobacco pricing variations much. If I like it I'll smoke it. Compared to the other half of my smoking hobby, it's all just so incredibly inexpensive. I could spend that money on a couple cigars or have a 100 grams of tobacco that would last me a couple months.

I've tried Sillem's Black, it reminds me of summer BBQ. Thanks for the review of Sillem's Green, Not really a fan of Sillem's.

I find it pretty funny that you think $20 is expensive for a premium tobacco. In Sweden the lowest & most boring blends cost $40.
