As a bunch of people say the fruit picker is inside out. The uncut string should be on the inside, and the pegs pointing up. Then it's so easy to get the fruit in the bag, the little stick between the pegs, and pull. The slug pubs are interesting, I think about buying some, the trays I used were to shallow. But in the same time maby a juice pack would do the job for free, just leave the cap open. I get leftover beer too, don't drink much and usually get alcohol free beer... Don't know if they fancy it 😂 The insect netting works, I stapled it on my brassica cage 👌 Shade cloth is a good thing to put over the small plants to harden of early spring, it will probably be to small for bigger cabbages. 🙈 Nice video, I like these hauls 👌
I don't mind Temu tbh, I've never expected miracles for the prices I've paid, so when things have been good it's always been a bonus! I was so excited to see whether the seed dispenser would work, but should've known it sounded too good to be true, I'll be amazed if someone ever manages to invent something that works for that particular job! 🤣
Those steel pegs r great so many uses in the garden also in the house .Got mine last year so far no broken ones no rust. sealing cereal pkts seed pkts even just holding things in place. also have shaded tunnel great for seed sowing then remove cover and use clear plastic put the metal like this x x x use metal pegs to clip onto frame . also got stapler with tape for toms and cues raspberry canes etc no more fussing with string .sowed onion seeds in the little cubes no mess no compost dont take up much space (dont know what they r called) .Very happy with everything .happy gardening for 2025.

Hiya Jim. The fruit picking bag is inside out. Turn it the other way and you get the metal teeth to help grab the fruit.
Thanks for the tip Mags! I didn't realise it was the wrong way round 😂 I'm glad I was told now and not at harvest time!
Great honest reviews Jim. Never tried Temu but I'll have a look 😊
Thanks. I try and be as honest as possible
with the fruit picker you got the bag inside out

Thanks for the info! I never even realised it was the wrong way round, oops 😂 silly me!
It'll all be landfill in six months. NOT a Temu fan. 😢
Used to catch butterflies when a kid in a net like that . Good effort in trying to convince it would be useful 😊
you could just use the onion spacer thingy to make furrows for small seeds like onion seed, etc.
I may use it to direct sow some leeks to transplant/ thin out later

I've found it more hassle to be honest. It's easy enough to just sprinkle them by hand 😂 no need to overthink seed sowing
Good, honest review James, take care Steve
I always try and keep it honest. Thanks Steve, all the best!

Thanks for the info 😊 happy growing to you!
Hi that green hole dibber might better to use as a drill maker tfs sylvi🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
I thought it was for seed modules.
@stephenmckelvie2032 yes it could be used for that too
I'm sure I'll find some use for it when it comes to sowing/planting in the raised beds
Those slug beer traps do catch them. The lids occasionally blow away but generally they are good.
I'm hoping they help keep slug populations down in the raised beds this year!
Ive found that beer traps just encourage slugs bwtter off planting parsley around the edge of the beds as always happy gardening Richardx
Cheers Richard, happy gardening 😊 I do like parsley. I use it in garlic butter a lot. Do slugs not go for the parsley though?
The insect netting is the only decent thing on temu in my opinion
Vegemite or marmite is better than beer in slug traps as they contain more yeast.
Thanks for the tip! I enjoy my marmite on my toast, though 😂
“Slug pub” ftw!!!
Haha yes!
Hi Jim I gave up on Temu,I found the items were badly made or just rubbish.and sending stuff back was a nightmare.so I will not buy from them again. 😊
Sorry to hear that!
