Just found his show, "It's Garry Shandling's Show" on UA-cam. It's GREAT for unwinding in 2022, with Russia's war on Ukraine going on, inflation worries in the world & COVID19 lingering. It's funny and chillaxing. I understand Garry passed in 2016, but his greatness continues to be enjoyed! Thanks, Garry!!
i wish i followed gary more closely before he died. i recently watched larry sanders show in it's entirety and boy is he good. and then few of these interviews. Maybe it's me but he was very underrated in mainstream.

Between you and me and some NBC suits from 1993….while the attention on Leno & Letterman, replacing the King….Gary was “the real first choice”……and boy, did I have a huge vote on that! …. Unfortunately it took a turn (not sure exactly why) but Leno got the big prize……Letterman was too uptight…Leno was a stand up genius…but Gary really had “it”!
Jay...out of nowhere "You look like youre in good shape." The more I watch Leno the more I realize how bad and scripted he was. Watch Gary with Johnny Carson..Johnny just lets him breath with stories...not looking for the laugh...but getting plenty of them because of that. Leno was so over rated.
