- In 1976 two British soldiers completed the first successful all military expedition to the summit of Everest. To celebrate this endeavour, the Army return 30 years later to conquer Everest once more. The plan: To tackle the peak via the treacherous "West Ridge", a notoriously dangerous climb that has only been completed by 19 people.

So - from what I understand, there are a total of sixteen different routes to the summit of Everest. It seems like this team of Brits have chosen the absolute hardest and deadliest route of them all. Oh well - at least there are no crowds, and no long lines on this route...
Climbing Everest has no purpose just traps😎
In 1996, no one died on the summit. The closest to the summit were Rob Hall and Doug Hanson, who died below the Hillary Step.
THIS IS VERY STRESSFUL TO WATCH

The amount of swearing is refreshing.
"one of the sherpas fell in a crevasse". you could learn their fucking names, they're making it possible for you to attempt this climb.
They actually seem worse then the standard clients, egos, no pictures of Sherpas, not roping themselves together, refusing to come down from Camp 2, getting in barney's over who is carrying what and the token woman dealing with foods
wandering womble they would of all been taking it in turns being nuts deep in there token women for there entertainment sometimes double teaming her and that!!!!!?????!!!!👍🏻😂😂😂😂😂😜😜😜😜
DEN ON A WARM DAY THE CLIMB IS A BREEZE
A sponsor collapses at Base camp, does that tell them something like what the hell are they doing this for?
Why does anyone do anything ever?

Where are the sherpas? The footage makes it look like the Brits are doing everything. Upset that so far no sherpas are seen working alone side the Brit army.
I agree i think the sherpas deserve more credit and footage but they probably don't do or say much thats interesting when it comes to editing an episode. Thinking about it a poor sherpa was probably trained to film them and lug the camera around or wear the go pro :(

Good points. The sherpas do appear in the later episodes, and things do seem 'frosty' between them and the army.
***** They make the sherpas appear stupid by falling into crevasses.
Did they fart at Camp 2 eating reindeer meat?
Whenever there's something interesting along comes an idiot with an irrelevant comment.
Another one of those with more recaps from the 1st. It's part of what makes todays TV so yawning to watch. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm off.
I've watched all the good climbing documentaries from the 80s... I'll take what I can get now.
I swear the sherpas are not this dramatic, we know the Sherpas are in the background doing the work but as usual brits want to lie to us. Lol
Sherpas are genetically different. You’re a moron.
them doing the sherpas daily work.... meh...
