That's great! It's really disappointing when you have to pay for the item and then wait for 8 months before you can pick it up. Hope it's worth the wait! Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment.
Nice can, I'm trying to decide what 9mm can to purchase at moment, the wolfman is one I'm trying to choose from. I just got my DA Mask HD 22. It got approved in just under 3 weeks!
Mine just arrived, brand new and haven't even fired it yet. Got to get the key mount added to my KP-9 pistol. Haven't decided if I want to get a suppressor barrel for my Glock 17 but it is on my maybe list. Already have a Wolverine for my AK. Next up a Sparrow 22 for my PPK/S 22LR pistol.
If you go with the threaded barrel for the glock, don't forget the piston and booster assembly. It was almost impossible for me to find the piston that Dead air makes. All I could find was waiting lists. Finally found the piston from Griffon Armament. It requires an additional piece for the piston that acts as a qdc. They also sell the booster from Dead Air on their site. I'm pretty happy with it. Thanks for watching. Stay safe out there.
@@RonBlackstock At first I was thinking, up what is he talking about. SO I did a little searching and found a Dead Air Silencers video on this and now I understand what you mean. I probably wouldn't need this for my PPK/S since it uses a fixed barrel but not my Glock since its barrel floats. Right now my plans for my Glock 17 are on the back burner, still got to get things installed on my AR and KP9 PLUS my cat just got me over $2000 in vet bills, long story there. This will be a next year project. Thanks for the info I am saving videos and links and will have a long discussion with my gunsmith next week about things.
Downloading this video as a reference point before the UA-cam feds take this down 🙏🏾 Day 7 of my Wolfman Suppressor can’t wait to get this out of ATF jail.
Lol I remember how I was feeling when I just bought my Wolfman. Took 9 months 😅 but I use the crap out of it. Not gonna lie.. I'm a bit salty mine didn't come with the spaner wrenches. Mine was with the original Wolfman box.
I figured that out a little later on thanks to comments. I still appreciate the sentiment. I also appreciate that you checked out the video. Stay safe out there brother.
I'm extremely happy with the wolfman. I bought it because of how interchangeable it is. I use it on 3 different guns... s&w sheild 9mm, glock 22 with a 9mm barrel, and my ar-15 with 556. It's been awesome going to the range and shooting all day without really needing ear pro. Even with the 556!
Griffin Armament piston and quick detach system. It's a lot quicker. But the thing is, I couldn't find a piston and booster assembly made by dead air so I got the one made by Griffin armament.
I really appreciate the support. It's great to hear some positive reinforcement! I believe I had to wait 8 or 9 months. I stopped counting because it was making me crazy.
Dead Air Key Micro Muzzle Brake for the rifle and the Keymo Adapter for the Wolfman allows you to quickly attach and remove the supressor. You actually need the key micro adapter if you plan to shoot 556 through the Wolfman as it acts as an additional baffle. For pistol applications you need the piston and booster assembly from dead air. Griffon Armament also makes a good piston and booster assembly for the Wolfman. That's the one I got because the Dead Air piston and booster assembly seems to be perpetually sold out on their website. Thanks for watching brother. Stay safe out there.
I’m day 256 on my wolfman 6/24 submission. So are you sure you can use .40 cal in the wolfman? Otherwise I’m very excited for your video trying this on you 5.56 cal rifle. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for checking out the video. The glock 22c that I had in the video had a threaded 9mm conversion barrel. As far as I am aware, the wolfman will not run 40s&w.
No. I switch it out pretty often. You have to take it off to remove the slide also. So I didn't use anything like loctite. It stays secure for the most part but I do have to keep an eye on it when I'm training with it. Just to make sure nothing is coming loose. Thanks for checking out the video brother.
Had an issue with the pistol slide locking back. It was only because I didn't oil the piston for the booster assembly. Thanks for watching. Stay safe out there brother.
Hey man, nice video. Not sure if you showed your G22C 40 cal just as a reference, but I don't believe you can push a 40 cal bullet through that 9mm can hole. :) I'm guessing you're running a 9mm barrel.
Looked into what was the quickest way to get approved. Turned out if you find a retailer with a silencer shop kiosk, you can submit all the paper work totally online and get approval as quick as 5 months sometimes.
No unfortunately. You have to use the key micro with the rifle. It acts as an additional baffle. Also, the wolfman is only designed for moderate use with 556. No full auto or successive bursts. Thanks for watching brother. Stay safe out there.
8 months is crazy, I submitted mine last week on friday and got it by Wednesdays. 4 business days is all it took 🎉
Just picked mine up Saturday after 281 days. Will try her out next week.

Starting my process on one in a couple weeks. Hope this one is less then 3mo like my last can
Ordered mine 11/15/23. Picked up 2/14/24. First suppressor I’ve gotten.

@ 3:21 is a sticker @ 3:31 is like a cigar wrapper that you wrap around your suppressor for like pictures.
Thanks for letting me know. And thanks for checking out the video.

filed my electronic paperwork April 24, waiting patiently for my approval.
Window sticker and cigar wrap for displaying suppressor.

Did you get it yet? Lol
@tims_4x4_garage Nope 😂 I called the shop earlier, and it's still in the processing stages. I'm ready for this shit to be over with already.
@@KaiNo.9 my last one took 50 weeks but that was on a paper form. I efiled a wolfman recently. The waiting sucks
Cool you got the new packaging.
That sticker at 3:45 is to wrap around the can itself.
I figured that out a little later on thanks to comments. I still appreciate the sentiment. I also appreciate that you checked out the video. Stay safe out there brother.
How happy are u with the wolfman? What all calibers have you used it on??
I'm extremely happy with the wolfman. I bought it because of how interchangeable it is. I use it on 3 different guns... s&w sheild 9mm, glock 22 with a 9mm barrel, and my ar-15 with 556. It's been awesome going to the range and shooting all day without really needing ear pro. Even with the 556!
On the rifle, the muzzle device and the key micro adapter for quick disconnect, were those separate purchases?
Yes. All bought separately. Easy to find on dead air's website. Thanks for watching.
What direction are the threads to get the direct thread mount off? Mine is stuck on there really good and I don't want to torque it the wrong way.
Lefty loosy, my friend.
Thank you
What’s the quick attachment that you have your Glock? Seems better then just threading it on to a 1/28.
Griffin Armament piston and quick detach system. It's a lot quicker. But the thing is, I couldn't find a piston and booster assembly made by dead air so I got the one made by Griffin armament.
Can you drop a link on the exact booster assembly your using , I can’t find a booster assembly anywhere
Hey good sir, excellent video. How long did you end up waiting for the Wolfman? I'm on day 274 and it's the worst.
I really appreciate the support. It's great to hear some positive reinforcement! I believe I had to wait 8 or 9 months. I stopped counting because it was making me crazy.
Is there a specific muzzle brake you need to attach?
Dead Air Key Micro Muzzle Brake for the rifle and the Keymo Adapter for the Wolfman allows you to quickly attach and remove the supressor. @@corndogegan negative day 277 now. I’d assume 2-3 weeks at most.
@@6hbaufhehdj thanks for the reply. I'm on day 275. It's the worst.
For the griffin camlok adapter barrel. Did you use any rockset or loctite when you tightened her down?
No. I switch it out pretty often. You have to take it off to remove the slide also. So I didn't use anything like loctite. It stays secure for the most part but I do have to keep an eye on it when I'm training with it. Just to make sure nothing is coming loose. Thanks for checking out the video brother.
@@RonBlackstock thanks Ron for the info!
Any issues with performance from your rifle or pistol?
Had an issue with the pistol slide locking back. It was only because I didn't oil the piston for the booster assembly. Thanks for watching. Stay safe out there brother.
Good to know, thanks. You as well.

Thanks for checking out the video. I appreciate the support. Yeah as far as the caliber, I'm using a lone wolf 9mm conversion barrel.
Cool video
Cool, what process did you use to get your suppressor?
Looked into what was the quickest way to get approved. Turned out if you find a retailer with a silencer shop kiosk, you can submit all the paper work totally online and get approval as quick as 5 months sometimes.
Could you put the same adapter on both the rifle and the pistol?
No unfortunately. You have to use the key micro with the rifle. It acts as an additional baffle. Also, the wolfman is only designed for moderate use with 556. No full auto or successive bursts. Thanks for watching brother. Stay safe out there.
Lol you got me at rocket surgeon. 😂
I'm glad you liked the video. Thanks for watching. It's always nice to hear some positive feedback. Stay safe out there brother.
Did it come with a front cap for 9mm?
Yes. And a wipe. Thanks for watching.
Hope I can suppress my rifles sooner rather than later.
Just got mine with a trust for 3 people in 110 days
