Waiting for a diligent defense can to get out of jail. I will definitely be running the keymo system on it as that’s what my other cans are, super simple yet really effective system. Keep up the great work Mike. Waiting for titanium sandman series to come out.

Thanks for the video. My Primal should come home next month. Any plan for a 5/8x32 muzzle brake / flash hider 45cal. ? My 450 bushmaster upper is threaded with this odd pitch and I can’t find anybody who make 5/8x32 Keymo muzzle attachment😢
Mike, love your KeyMo system and have it on my can, but there are SO MANY thread pitches out there that you don't offer, what are the chances of getting FH or brakes with other pitches like M16x1LH or 11/16-24, maybe 5/8-32, none of which are available now. I guess I could buy 1/2-28 adapters and have a shop drill them out and tap them but that seems like a good way to encourage baffle strikes if it's not done well...
Is there a way to do this without the wrenches, neither may Sandman L or Wolfman came with wrenches and i am waiting for you to get them back in stock. Thanks
Can confirm keymo stays tight even if the detent ring is worn down. Only have one sandman that I move around 7 different guns. Wore it out in about 6 months, I hit up dead air they sent 2 new ones fast no questions asked.
I bought a sierra 5 a few days ago and wish I saw this video before. New from DA the mount wasn’t timed correctly and was lose when the collar locked down which caused a baffle strike. I sent it back to DA hoping they can fix it!
So a genuine question since I've been hearing some worrying things about the KeyMo, and would like to make sure my $1000 purchase doesn't get destroyed. my Lazarus 6 with a KeyMo finally got out of ATF jail. I have it on my rifle with the SOLGW Nox muzzle device. The mount and front cap have rocksett added to it. I have a rod to check concentricity, and it seems fine. Anything else I can do to avoid a baffle strike?
"30 day eForms. Its electronic so we will spend less time inputting information and has less inaccuracies"-says the ATF, taking a 12 month coffee break.
I’m having issues, every muzzle device I’ve recieved from dead air hasn’t been able to fit into the sandman. The only muzzle that fits is the 3 prong flash hider it came with. I ordered a new/same type and did not fit. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated 👍
Could be a couple things, so It will be hard to troubleshoot in a comment. Definitely send an email to info@deadairsilencers.com and our guys can help you get that figured out.
I wish my sandman made that satisfying ratcheting clicks. Mine actually never clicked out of the box. Plus, my guide lugs and locking lugs don't line up. When fully opened it won't come off the mount without turning the collar 1 notch closed. It's like 3/4 of a notch off.
Daniel Defense .300 DDM4 PDW with Nomad 30 - which muzzle device and mounting system would you recommend? KeyMo + Keymo Brake or Keymo + KeyMo flash hider or Xeno system? Can pretty much lives on the 300, home / zombie defense
This thing drove me crazy until I found this video. Someone, gun shop, somewhere else in the food chain, had tightened it as far as it would go, and the lugs on the interior and exterior were lined up nicely but I couldn’t get the thing to go on for what is now an obvious reason
I wish you would go into exactly how tight the suppressor needs to be. I’ve had a baffle strike before, so I tighten it as best I can, but now I have to use the wrench every time to take it off.
My omega keymo does not fit on my DA101 muzzle break. It fits just fine on my DA102 muzzle brake. I understand there were some quality issues with a new manufacturing partner a while ago. I am assuming that my DA 101 muzzle brake was affected by this. I submitted the contact form to DA customer service, but I have not received a response. I would appreciate it if you guys could get back to me and resolve the issue.
I haven't got my DDM4 mk18 r3 yet but if my rail is 9.5" and my barrel is 10.3" and If i put the nomad 30 on it using the direct thread or the dead air kemo flash hdr does anyone know if it would sit flush with my rail? Any comments would be really helpful and appreciated..I'm doing a ton of research and wanna get the right setup
Simplicity yes, reliability no. They lack a locking mechanism outside of torque. I agree with what I read someone say a few days ago. Basic taper for a hunting rifle is fine. Ratchet mechanism for a combat or fast firing rifle is better. 90T, ASR, Keymo, Trilug etc. allows you to lock on. Regular taper can disconnect with heat and sustained fire. Unless you're using Area 419's LH threading. That shouldn't open with the force of the bullet's spin but has it's own issue of fine exposed threads if you're going to move suppressors around. Keymo couldn't change the threading to the tubes but they could have made a notch after the adapter is turned. You wouldn't be able to just torque and break it open like he did but it would be much more secure if it was a U shape after it's tightened and not an L shape, so the lugs lock into the keymo brakes.
Broke my weld on my muzzle because I reamed on the adapter the wrong guy way. Time to get it rewelded and learn from my mistake after watching the video 🤦♂️
