Liberty Civil Defense 223 Hollow Point VS Green Tip 556. Melon And Water Bottle Test
In this video I tested out the Liberty Civil Defense hollow point chambered in 223 against water bottles and honeydew melons. I compared the results with the effects of M855 Green Tips from Winchester and X-Tac Green Tip 556 from PMC. The test was a load of fun and it rendered some interesting results!

I’ve had my surge for right around… 15 years? It’s very capable but I wish it wasn’t so heavy. Keeps it from being my daily carry. I like to travel light and tight.
?
357 sig is more than enough power.
Thanks....
Forgot the name of the light huh lol
But in another video I saw, Aero recommends no more than 45 ft-lb of torque on this nut, otherwise it would damage the nut in excess of that. Video: ua-cam.com/video/OpztkNbZxJE/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
8 months is crazy, I submitted mine last week on friday and got it by Wednesdays. 4 business days is all it took 🎉
Sick I like the set up
What was the original length of your stock barrel....What length did the threaded barrel come in...
Will this light work on the shield 45?
I think it should be
You wouldve only needed to pull over for one minute… anyways
filed my electronic paperwork April 24, waiting patiently for my approval.
That is wicked sweet
I imagine this would fit the Shield M2.0 as well?
Got the same one. Works great 👍🏻 Good to go. ✝️🇺🇲✝️
No need to be ashamed of your mistakes brother. I have been making them and will continue to. I will be the first to say I know the ashamed feeling but as long as we are able to admit mistakes as humans and correct them than that shows we are getting better. Thanks for being humble enough to admit that because in the 2A community so many people are afraid too and I think that is why we feel ashamed. Seeing how much you know about firearms and able to admit this really helps me. That is also very important because we should want everyone to speak up when they are having trouble so they can be safe as possible. Thanks for the upload. Got to put this together when I get back home this morning. New sub here!
Just got mine with a trust for 3 people in 110 days
I pretty much have the some set-up you have. You might be interested in the CAA-MCK chassis now that the rule has been overturned about the pistol brace rule in June 2024.
I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip brother, and thanks for watching. Stay safe out there.
@@RonBlackstock Bear Creek Arsenal has Glock barrels at very reasonable prices even threaded Stainless Steel 9mm conversion. Plus, they are making carbines that use Glock magazines in 10mm and 45 ACP, but I like the ones Ruger has made in 9mm and 45 ACP. Gowutar makes great RMR and RMSc size dot sites the 300 Lumens Streamlight TLR-6 HL for Glock railed pistols with 3 rechargeable batteries, a single charger, and a cable is awesome. I plan on investing in Dove AMS’ DoveDOT Mounting Plate Kit so don't have to have my slides cut to mount my Dot sights plus have backup irons too.
You can but the tool that broke on eBay and repair it yourself.
"tuck you in, warm within, keep you free from sin, 'til the wolfman cooooomes ahhh!"
I just got and i dont see the red dot is there a reson ? I was thinking maybe the battery i need help
Pull the tab out from under the battery, make sure the battery is in the correct way and you won't see the light on NV1 or NV2 and probably 1 through 3 maybe even 4 after that you should see the light. If not buy a new CR163R battery
Want mount did you use for your wolfman? Did you use DA451? And what muzzle are you using? Thank you
Time for another video drop!
Just ordered mine because of the review you did on it!!!!
You won't regret it. Still using mine on the daily.
If there was a head to head challenge at Leatherman, the Surge would win!
I concur with your video. I'm hard on my tools and the Surge is the only all locking Leatherman I haven't broken.
How has it held up?
Pretty good, brother. Both of them are still going strong...thanks for watching. Stay safe out there.
Big Ron. Nice Gun Bud. I have it as well.
Have a friend that wants to duplicate this build. What/Which Griffin suppressor is that? Or does that griffin adapter work with other manufacturers?
The supressor is a Dead Air Wolfman. I got the Griffin Armament piston that is compatible with the Dead Air booster. It was the only option that I could find at the time. The piston and booster assembly from Dead Air is constantly sold out everywhere I was looking. I had to buy the threaded qdc adapter separately. It is also available through Griffin Armament. It's a little more expensive this way but it was the only option I could come up with since the booster assembly from Dead Air is constantly sold out. Thanks for watching brother. I hope that cleared things up for you.
Get a purse dude😂😂. You don't need all that trash. Handgun (G19 or G43X), at least an extra mag, knife, maze, wallet, phone, headphones, regular black watch, & glasses. That's it. That's a Real Man's EDC. Other than that, get a fckg 👛. 😂😂. You don't need a pad, a pen nor a fancy "smart" watch, nor anything else.
I'm confused. So, you're shooting 4" lower than where you're aiming? There is a much easier way to do this. Aim at a specific point, take your shots, then move the dot to where you were hitting by adjusting the turrets. Why are you zeroing it shooting low?
Height over bore. The red dot sits a couple inches above the barrel. If you put the red dot on any specific point, your barrel will naturally be aimed a couple inches below where you're actually aiming. I hope that helped to clear some things up. Thanks for watching brother.
@RonBlackstock - I understand what you're saying, but still confused. So, if you were to shoot exactly where you have your bulls eye, you're actual point of impact is 3 to 4" lower based on how you're zeroing it. Is that not accurate? So, aren't you always going to be impacting lower than where you are aiming based on how you have it zeroed? Out to distance, you're going to be even lower. Don't you want to be hitting exactly where you are aiming not lower? I've never seen someone purposely site there gun in to shoot low.
I am wondering the same thing. Super confused on why you aren’t zeroing the red dot to the spot you were aiming at.
Explain to me as a new shooter how you would zero a red dot for an ar15 also with a magnifier if you can, I’m new and just got this setup
@@bestinstallerever1043 I’m not an expert but from my understanding you shoot then check the target and make adjustments to the red dot as needed. You can probably find a better explaining video. I’m hoping to hit the range tomorrow and I’ll do the same thing as I said above
Is that the black oxide version?
Yes. I thought it had a better look to it when I ordered it long ago. The color has gotten a little scratched up over the years but it is still looking pretty good. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment brother. Stay safe out there.

I know, right, about something else blah blah, talk about their life blah blah, something about another product blah blah 10 minutes in finally it's about the light. 😂
Interesting thanks for the share.
How a solar panel farm looks like? Like a scar on the face of the land. Like a waste of nature.
Look at all those trees that are supposed to eat up all the CO2 we're worried about.
Mmm i dont see any birds.
Nice, yeah those are fun, never run an enclosed one though..a/c?
Air conditioner, radio,... even though that one was the first I've ever operated, I could tell it was pretty nice. Thanks for commenting bro.
@@RonBlackstock wow, yeah that is a nice one, cool. No problem bro.
When I sold these in the '90's there was the PMK and the PMS. The S model only worked 3 weeks out of the month.
I can personally attest to the reliability of the PMK that I own. It's the only model that I have experience with. I've never had a malfunction of any kind. I did put a new firing pin in it because of It's age and the fact that it was previously owned.. It probably wasn't necessary but it was my first pistol and I really enjoyed disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling practically every week. I've had zero malfunctions before or after the little upgrade. extremely reliable. Thanks for watching brother. Stay safe out there.
@@RonBlackstock Buddy, did you miss the joke on PMS? Possibly, 'cause you know, PMS is no joking matter.
@lenzielenski3276 I apologize for missing that...I was trying to respond in a hurry. Good one. I thought there was some exotic model out there that I hadn't heard of.
Is there a specific muzzle brake you need to attach?
Dead Air Key Micro Muzzle Brake for the rifle and the Keymo Adapter for the Wolfman allows you to quickly attach and remove the supressor. You actually need the key micro adapter if you plan to shoot 556 through the Wolfman as it acts as an additional baffle. For pistol applications you need the piston and booster assembly from dead air. Griffon Armament also makes a good piston and booster assembly for the Wolfman. That's the one I got because the Dead Air piston and booster assembly seems to be perpetually sold out on their website. Thanks for watching brother. Stay safe out there.
This is about the limits of what I would call a "real" tool multi-tool - by that I mean that if it were any smaller or lighter weight it wouldn't hold up well enough for heavy use. There is a little bit of flex in the handles when I squeeze them with the pliers deployed, but not much. It is unlikely that I could permanently bend them with one hand. I'm assuming I have significantly more grip strength than most people, so most people probably wouldn't notice it. Regardless, it's a great multi-tool, bridging the gap between convenience and ruggedness. Cheers.
Basically, it's for people to get real work done, not just something for the tacticool kit-kiddies. 😏
Work of art 😮😮
Thank you very much. I really appreciate the support.
Nice video. Just subscribed
Thanks for the encouragement brother. It's hard to stay motivated sometimes, so it's good to know that someone enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and stay safe out there.
Whyd u get rid of the ported barrel on the 22C
Didn't get rid of it. I have about 4 different barrels I can switch out with that pistol. 9mm, 40 S&W, 357 SIG, and a slide for 22LR. It's pretty crazy what you can do with a Glock. Thanks for watching brother.
Will this light allow the holster to be tightened to have better retention? Kinda looks like you can just flip the holster and the gun would fall out. Or does the tlr1 fit the same way? I appreciate the review!
You can adjust the tension. I have mine pretty tight but I'm not gonna try doing cartwheels with a round chambered anytime soon. It holds pretty good under normal activities. Thanks for watching brother.
There is so much dumb in the first minute I can't bare to watch mre.
Glad you stuck around for a minute...
Great multitool. Thanks for sharing. Send it back to leatherman. They will take care of you.
It’s corruption at multiple levels. Criminals and criminal enterprises flock here because of the lack of oversight. For example at the higher education level everything is a massive fraud save for a few colleges and universities. Decent institutions include: SIU, NWU, UIC, CU, Wheaton College, University of Elmhurst, University of St. Francis, Illinois Wesleyan University, and Wabonsee Community College. Everything else is a massive scam perpetrated by the Illinois Department of Education’s lack of communication and governance over the major accreditor in the region the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). It’s a major national security risk as our technology and innovations are THE ONLY thing that keep our foreign enemies at bay. The minute the out put of the institutions are obsolete or less than that of our foreign advisories have, our enemies will attack.
When shit goes down I'm coming to your house 😊
