Love my Wolfman. If I was strictly using it for a handgun I'd lean towards the 9K, but since I use it on my PCC's and 300BLK, the Wolfman is the most versatile and best suppressed. Thanks for the video amigo
Totally agree with you man(hope things are good for you down there by the way 🙏). The Omega shouldn’t perform as well as it does but the bigger Wolfman definitely outperforms it.
@@CalebDowning They're both cool cans, can't go wrong with either. Life is going good, super busy with work and a 3 month old. Congrats on the move up north! Definitely looks amazing
I believe your problem with not reaching full battery was your recoil spring weight. When going to a suppressor, the shadow systems pistol needs a 20 lb spring. This will force the mass forward better. Shadow systems does technical tuesdays...and Trevor discusses this issue in depth.
I just got a wolfman after watching your review today. It sounded Hollywood quiet compared to the 9k and it's only like .4 inches longer. I'm curious to see how quiet it is with a wipe. Great sound review man!
@@CalebDowning jus found out about the new spectre 9 coming out gonna go with that since wolfman will probably wear my 19 down faster since its rated for more 9mm calibers that arent small like pistols
Wolfman and a wipe will blow the omega out the water. You can buy the wipes at any hardware store. It’s just a faucet washer. So why not use the wipe lol
You are correct there 👍 A wet/wiped Wolfman is 🔥 My only complaint with wipes is that they totally mess with the guns accuracy. It’s quiet but you’d better be close if you want to hit something.
@@CalebDowning I’ve not noticed any difference on a pcc with a 3 lug as long as you Mark the 12 o’clock position on the can. If you don’t position the can the same every time. It will effect zero of the gun.
I like the wolfman but its more of a subgun can that can work on a pistol the omega is more of a pistol can that can work really well on a subgun the omega wins for actual use on a handgun for size, weight at the cost of a bit of suppression on subs.
can u elaborate more i want best sound suppression for my glock 19 and the wolfman just sounds so much better i rlly want wolfman but the 9k is the most popular and i want to know why
@romebowermaster5060 The Wolfman is absolutely better sounding than the Omega 9K. The 9k is a very simple and robust can that is better balanced for pistols due to its weight and size. The Wolfman will sound better, given its size. I wouldn’t hesitate getting the Wolfman for a Glock 19 if you want a quiet setup.

Honestly got it right . But I personally think the omega sounded the best. I think if u used the Wolfman with the wipe it would have either matched the omega or been just a tad bit more quiet
I can tell the Wolfman sounds better, but I don't think it sounds $200 better. I think when you factor in the weight and length into the equation, the Omega 9k is better overall.
Solid point. The Wolfman can handle 5.56 whereas the Omega will pop under that pressure. So for some applications the Wolfman is gonna shine. On the other hand the Omega 9k is one dang good compact 9mm can… so it all depends on what your trying to accomplish.
I'm digging the Wolfman... I'm looking for a new suppressor now I want something I can use with my single shot 350 legend during primitive weapons season but since that's only a couple few weeks a year I'm wanting to be able to use it on handguns, AK's and maybe even 300 Blackout. So far I'm down to the Wolfman and SilencerCo OMEGA 36M and I really don't know what to pick.
Tough choice man. I’ve never used the 36M but it does check a lot of the boxes. I’m obviously a Dead Air fan-boy so take what I say with a grain of salt. One thing I don’t like about the 36M is the mounting system. I’ve heard too many folks talk about them coming loose. Again I’ve never used them personally so I don’t have that experience myself. Can you share how you were able to use the muzzle device for the Hunter Town arms 762AK? Does that thread to the can without a mount installed? I only got the 14mm mount, the one it came with. Would love to get another mount for it but don't know if anyone makes one and it looks like you found a mount that works with it.
I was using their YHM adapter and a YHM muzzle device. They used to offer those mounts but since they are out of business I’m not sure where to get one. I’ll be honest man. This can was my first one and I learned a lot after getting it. I have since had the can rethreaded to 1.375x24(the industry standard). Now I. An run direct thread, put actual boosters on, use KeyMo mounts, and even run 3 lug. It cost about as much to recut the threads as it did getting the can, but it was worth it to me.
It was worth the cost for me. The can is still pretty heavy and not as good as other cans I’ve got but it’s way better than it was. I also had the front of the can cut out and threaded to accept Dead Air front caps 👌
Only a few wouldn’t need one. If the barrel moves like on a Glock, HK, Sig, or S&W then it’ll need a booster. I believe the Beretta would generally work without a piston since it’s barrel only moves linearly.
Prices change. That’s why most videos don’t mention price. I’ve seen some cans coat about five hundred one year and then numb up to eight hundred the next 🤷♂️
