Hi, I watch your video. But when I tried to play with color and the selective color, in your monitor the colors have values, in my case all the colors are at 255. How do you get the colors value, for me to be sure which one can be used it to get a better finish color? Thanks for all your videos.
Great instruction. Any suggestions on editing greys. All the grey color codes I pick print green with sublimation inks. I've exhausted all the corrections from the printer & ink side of this. So I'm just accidently finding greys I can use. Thanks in advance.
Are you using an ICC file to transpose from pixel image to printer? What Rendering Intent are you using? Check using the Soft Proof adjustment where you can set these to the same as you are doing in the print panel, and look at the RGB of individual pixels.
@@inaffinityforaffinityphoto3220 my ink does not require a manufacturer profile. I use the RGB settings for the printer that the supplier uses. I also use perceptual. I will try your suggestion above. Thank you so much for responding!
Very good! I noticed that when you want to select a color, you drag the picker onto the color, then click on the icon, then click on the foreground color. Do you do that for the sake of your audience? Because you can just hold Alt and click on a color on an image to do the same thing. A good shortcut I've learned a while back. You can also hold down the left mouse button and drag to bring up the zoom
Affinity is the app on my computer I use the least and wish I'd never bought - not because it's bad (maybe it's not) but simply because it is so unintuitive. For instance, I have a PNG and want to select and change the background (flat) colour. It should just be Select and then Adjust a slider. Instead I have to watch multiple 5 and 10 min videos on UA-cam and it still doesn't work. I can do it on my phone in 5 seconds. I loved the idea of Affinity Publisher too but I'm still working with InDesign for the exact same reason. You guys could have a lot more customers if you produced some fast and to-the-point video tutorials.
Sure, it's not for everyone. I like much about it, including the strength of layering and low cost. I don't work for Serif, by the way and only gain a little income from ads.
Fascinating. I never could understand that control properly!

This is very informative. thanks for sharing this. 👍
brilliant, as always, even if this is a little daunting still....
