Your video was a big help. Never had a red dot on a handgun before. Some of the videos I’ve seen place the dot all the way to the rear of the rail. You have yours all the way up front. That’s a huge improvement on acquiring the red dot much faster. What a difference. The Mark IV is a sweet little pistol.

That background sound is like a marching band of firearms, I love it.

This exact combo is what I had in mind for my next pistol - super light, accurate and fun to shoot, both for me and everyone else.

I do something similar. For my first adjustment I use 10 clicks and see how far that goes. I then extrapolate distance by clicks. Ex. 10 clicks = 3 inches.

Picked up an inexpensive laser bore sight tool on Amazon for about $26. Took me less than 2 minutes each to zero in my Holosun pistol red dot and my Vortex rifle scope. First shot taken with both firearms were perfect.

James let me tell you something bro, you are a true badass red blooded American and I say that because you have been 100% ever since I started watching you since before
R&@d H@&)$@&#s worked for you. For you to be as honest and down to earth as you have is really rare and for you to continue to make videos with your condition is a testament to how much of a true patriot you are! A lot of people would feel self conscious or embarrassed and you push forward in the face of adversity and hunker down like grown man would do, I appreciate it and I admire you. We will definitely be training together soon keep grinding Brother!

Good info James. Thanks for the info about pushups for recoil control. My son is ten and loves to shoot. And make fun all you like, yes he loves to shoot my .40. Shoots my AR too.

you can switch to manual mode on that optic and dial dot intensity down. no fiddling with tape.

My threaded muzzle came off my mk4 Lite while removing my silencer. I must tightened it too much. I need to upgrade to a standard barrel upper.

I set one up very similar for my son, MK IV 22/45 Lite with Vortex Venom. I also added the Halo ring for easier charging without worrying about finger pinch for him.

Some people are so ungrateful. They don’t even realize the gem that you tossed in there with with 25 yard knowledge. This is why Yeager is the best

How did you mount it to your Ruger? I have a Mark IV Target and I’m thinking about the Holson . My Ruger has picatinny rails but I don’t know how the Holson mounts to this gun. Can you advise?
    Thanks,
    Paul

What adapter did you use to mount the holosun? I just bought my wife the mark IV and a holosun but can’t find the right adapter to mount it.

Im also looking for one. I bought the picatiny rail from Tandemkross. But then realized they sell the correct one for this sight. Called shadow mount by tandemkross

Any reason you are running that dot a little forward then most on the pistol? Just curious.

Any 10 yard zero is .7 high at 25? I’m not asking if it’s a good replacement for zeroing at 25 but is that .7 at 10 yards a reliable way to get super close at 25?

I'm on the hunt for one of these, very hard to find around here. When I find one, who makes a decent field holster that accepts a red dot for these?
