This is the exact same ant colony that nests in my pots. Your channel has very good information on Orchid growing and caring irrespective of the publicity that you have gained compared to much famous channels. Thanks for all the good info. +1 sub
For anthuriums or any other indoor and outdoor plants whether diatomaceous earth can be applied directly or we should dilute and apply??.. please suggest
I am having red spider mite attack on my indoor anthurium. Whether this liquid spray will work and safe? Bec whenever I am applying pesticide, leaves turn yellow and brown and get dry.. it was a healthy plant before.. now no growth is there.. please suggest me what to do
Mam pl make videos on treatments of sucking pest and other pest in all types of orchids.I am having some catilya, phalaenopsis, dendobium and like to have some tiluminia orchids in future. I love your videos very much and learn from your videos.
Madam, you can apply turmeric powder one tea spoon with added 200ML water and shake well, then you can apply on orchid potting mix. It may prevent your orchid from harming because it is organic. And I'm sure ant will leave from orchid pot. (Madam I have already been **** your Channel, so same as help me mam)
Thank u so much 😊 for now the ants have vanished after applying DE...earlier I used to sprinkle tumeric around the pots but didn't work for me ...I never tried tumeric in solution form..I definitely will give it a try if ants come back😊👍
Mam how do you keep your orchids pest free and fungus free and keep your orchids healthy? I am new in orchid growing and a regular watcher of your orchid videos. Pl help me.
Most of my orchids are in my balcony...I usually don't keep any other houseplants with them (except for ferns) ...so that reduces a lot of problems like mealy bugs etc..and I always quarantine newly bought orchids and other the ones which show even a little suspicion...mostly I face ant related problems and other than than spide mites in few of my indoor orchids..both for which I'm using Diatomaceous earth..and lot of showering and drenching the pots... usually I don't have any major fungal issues as my orchids receive a lot of air circulation ...and I make sure they don't stay wet always..if I observe a weird spot which may be infection I cut that portion of the leaf and seal cut ends with cinnamon powder or turmeric..till now I have not started using any fungicide or bactericide on my orchids..I try to grow as naturally as possible...so basically for orchids to be disease free- 1) quarantine new orchids and sick ones 2) good air circulation 3)don't let them stay constantly moist (except for a few whose culture requirements is like that) 4) cut the portion of the leaf or whole leaf if necessary if u see any weird spot spreading 5) clean the leaves with wet cotton ball or wipes on regular intervals.. 6)always keep powdered cinnamon ready for ur orchids..it works wonders 😊 These are the most basic and easiest things that I do regularly 🙂🤞
And yes don't share water for soaking the healthy and sick ones...and gardening tools also I always sterilize with rubbing alcohol each time I use it for different orchid..

Thank you . New sub 👍
I use hit spray, which is very useful.no damage to the plant
I have tried that around the pots...but never inside the pot or on plants..will try once😅
Nope it completely killed one of my 2 years old calliandra....I don't recommend it....instead you can use laxman rekha chalk...
