But the press definitely spun that and the favor slid Lebron's way because they were hyping up the LeBron and Jordan shit. All the while, melo was doing WORK in Denver and those first couple knick years. And those first 7-8 years of melos career is almost overshadowed imo. Yes people KNOW his greatness but it's never discussed or respected enough

Hence the 2013 season when he finished third in MVP voting and he led the league in scoring, and had his team finish with the second-best record in the East.
