And you didn't even picked his best song. Tommy is one of the most talented musicians out there. He plays countless instruments, writes his own stuff, produces various artists, has his own band ( he recently quit Sabaton...you should listen to them too...) and has his UA-cam channel. If you want to see what he can do listen to his rendition of the phantom of the opera. He sings both parts. He is unbelievable. And don't forget..Friday is Tommy day. He releases a new cover every Friday....best day of the week...and we are all Team Tommy😊😊😊
Then imagine he plays about ,8-9 more instruments and I must say me having about 40 years as a musican under my belt, that Tommy is the best rock musican I have heard!
Tommy's voice is a natural wonder. And, he's Swedish by the way, from the real north north. I love his just 'pretty' singing too, like at the end; such a beautiful tone. And it all seems so effortless! It's quite something. You should listen to him sing a Celine Dion song (yes! Celine!), Heart's 'Alone' is phenomenal, Queen... The list goes on, there's nothing he can't sing, it seems. In fact, I think he could have become a tremendous opera singer (tenor) if he had gone that route! It's not too late, I guess. 😁ETA: I always get a kick out of seeing people reacting to him for the first time - and see their eyes get wider. Like, What have we got here?!
He is amazing! We are proud of our Tommy Johansson! 👌🇸🇪 Listen to more covers by him. He drops a new cover every Friday. Everything he does seems so easy for him, and he has fun!

Tommy is from Sweden. He left Sabaton this year to focus on his band Majestica, his YTchannel and many other projects. He plays over ten instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, banjo, accordion... And there is a new video on Fridays. Friday is the best day of the week thanks to Tommy.🤘🤘🤘
For high notes, listen to Tommy’s version of You Raise Me Up (he sings the entire song one octave higher than the original) and Phantom of the Opera (he sings both parts, Christine & the Phantom)
Welcome to the big rabbit hole of Tommy J. It is always great to see someone reacting to Tommy for the first time. He is an outstanding guitarist, has a voice like an angel and also plays at least 10 more instruments. He releases a new cover every friday and all of them are mindblowing. If you want to discover more of his work I highly recommend his Queen covers, She's gone (Steelheart), Alone (Heart), You raise me up (one octave higher than original!!), The Winner Takes it All, Waterloo, Money, Money, Money (ABBA). He also has a greate sense of humor as in Cotton eye joe (Rednex), All the small things (Blink 182) or I'm still standing (Elton John). For more greate Guitar stuff check out his Gary Moore covers like Empty rooms (with a 4 minute guitar solo) or (my favorite cover) Emerald (Thin Lizzy). He also sings in Italian (Sara perche ti amo, Una Canzone D’amore). And thats just the beginning... To discover Sabaton I highly request "Bismark" and "Christmas Truce" - Greetings from Germany - Maik
Tommy dtarted learning guitar at age 9. His idol is Gary Moore and he is happy to have aquired an original guitar from his last year. He mainly plays Charvel. Check out his Gary Moore covers! The Loner is purely instrumental. For sheer humour, Cotton Eye Joe.
In videos on his channel we have seen him play a lot of things Guitar, Piano, Keytar, Bass, Drums, Banjo, Accordion, Recorder, Mouth Harp and probably something else that slipped my mind right now.
Tommy was the guitarist in Sabaton from 2016 to 2024. At the beginning of 24, he left Sabaton in order to devote himself full time to his band Majestica. Tommy and Majestica are currently recording a new album. Tommy plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, keytar, banjo, flute, accordion, harmonica and jew's harp. And with this song my acquaintance with Tommy’s work began. So for me this song is not just an amazing cover, it gave me the world of Tommy.
@@setonhillstudios I knew that I would definitely forget something!😀 Tommy also plays drums. I absolutely agree, Tommy is a very talented and hardworking guy.
Sabaton does songs about history, so you can actually learn history while listening to heavy metal. It's pretty cool. They even have their own "skins" I guess you would call it (the band as crew) in World of Tanks and their own tank too.
Yes...Sabaton. You should definitely look into their music, as well. It's not just music, it's true stories about soldiers and battles, and freedom gained. I loved the look on your face when you started seeing the changes of styles and the different instruments. Also...yes...he plays the rhythm instruments, as well. The wonderful thing, is that we don't have to figure out what part we love the best, because it's all so great. I just let it all soak in...pretty much the same way I do with Dan Vasc's music as well. There's also a group of three siblings that you should check out for greatness, also. I checked to see if you guys had reacted to them yet, and you haven't. They are called "Life in 3D." They are very phenomenal -- two brothers (either end of the age spectrum) and their sister (right in the middle). They are HUGELY flexible. Each of them has a definite style, and they blend all of what they have, together, in a way that is simply gorgeous. They can do a number of genres, and they also do duets and solos. They are college-aged, and, again...fantabulous. I'm not making an official request...just sayin'... 😀 Thank you, Corey, for the wonderful reaction.
Thanks Linda! That’s what I’ve heard, that their music is based on actual historical events. I’ve never heard of “Life in 3D” but would love to look into them. You have definitely introduced us to some amazing artists and we greatly appreciate it! Have a great night!
He is just amazing! If you want to see more of his guitar and keybord playing, check out his cover of The Loner and Rocky 4 Training Montage. Also check out his own band Majestica. I suggest Above the Sky and Metal united. Sabaton is also outstanding!

Hes from nothern sweden. Just love his work! And there is 2 instrumens he cant handel yet. And thas violin and bagpipe (hope thats right word for it, you know that scotish instument)
Love watching someone react to Tommy for the first time! If you want guitar shredage you need to listen to "Over the Hills and Far Away" (Gary Moore cover) or Emerald (Thin Lizzy cover). For vocals "She's Gone" is always top on everyone's list but I like "The Light" (his original) or "Euphoria". To see his funny side you have to watch "Cotton Eye Joe"! His band Majestica is great too, try out "Above the Sky" (OV). For Sabaton watch "Christmas Truce", "1916", or "The Last Stand"! ❤
This is one of my favorite Tommy covers. Also Winner Takes it All. I mean, can't really pick a favorite, because each one is so amazing. Others have mentioned You Raise Me Up, One Octave Challenge, and Phantom of the Opera, both great. She's Gone will blow your mind. Bohemian Rhapsody is also mind blowing. If you want a dose of Tommy humor along with a showcase of his musical talents try Cotton Eyed Joe. It's the best. His Gary Moore covers are awesome. Majestica, Above the Sky. The Light - Reinxeed (20 Years celebration.) And just pick something. It'll be awesome. 😄
I thought I'd suggest another song by SRV, if interested. "Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughan - Call It Stormy Monday" (by the channel: Spoenkiee) --In 1983 blues legend Albert King and up-and-coming Stevie Ray Vaughan got together for a jam session at CHCH-TV studios in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. Initially King wasn't going to do the show because apparently, he didn't know who SRV was, however, once he realized Vaughan was "Little Stevie," the skinny kid who used to sit in with King when he performed in Texas, the jam session happened. The result was a memorable collaboration that music lovers have enjoyed ever since...I hope you enjoy it too. And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you. Thanks for sharing. peace out~
Thanks so much for watching and all the awesome suggestions! SRV is such an icon and we always love checking out his genius! Have a great one and talk to you soon!

Hello. Tommy sure is amazing. Have been following him for a couple of years now. Thanks for finding my absolute favourites and one of the songs I like the best. But anything you pick from his channel will blow your mind but I especially recommend The Light for you (presented as a cover of ReinXeed but that is what Majestica was called before a name change so it is a Tommy original song). All his Gary Moore songs are absolutely fab and have extra ordinary guitar solos). And Majestica is awesome as well. Check out Above the Sky or Metal United on their channel. He plays about 10 instruments or something like that. He always list the instruments and if VST is used in description of the video. He does the production, recording, mixing and most filming him self as well. So indeed multi talented and on top of that a great sense of humor and a lovely guy in person.

Nice reaction! Check out Above the Sky. As for Sabaton, yes, please react to them. They have a video Christmas Truce. (Tommy plays the French soldier). And check out Hellfest 2019, when Sabaton was doing The Great War tour. Joakim, the lead singer known for his incredible voice, lost his voice. Tommy and Chris, the two guitarists, stepped up and took turns singing the rest of the songs. Just epic. For Sabaton, To Hell and Back, No Bullets Fly, and anything from their two recent albums about WW1. Their concerts are fun, and go to one if you can.
Tommy is absolutely amazing. to get a sense of his range - both vocally and in style - I'd recommend checking out his covers of The Phantom of the Opera, and of Elton John's I'm Still Standing. Both are absolutely brilliant in their own ways. And last year's midsummer celebration video Nu Grönskar Det, a Swedish song, shows you all the different instruments he plays. And yes, Tommy was a guitarrist in Sabaton until recently, and that band is definitely worth checking out as well. Nearly all their songs are about historical people or events, and they are great storytellers. Christmas Truce would be a good music video to start with for them, or Bismarck. Soldier of Heaven is another favourite of mine.
Tommys cover of Steelhearts hit ”Shes gone” is A MUST to listen to if you wanna hear a bit of his range… it will give you goosebumps all over your body.. dont believe me?? Try me pls 🤘👍
We have a reaction to that one up on the channel as well, but it’s Steven (the other half of Seton Hill). I haven’t checked that one out for myself yet, but I’ve heard it’s phenomenal!
This is one of my all time favorite songs and I love Tommy's interpretation of it. You could easily spend at least a week just listening to different covers of this beautiful song, there are so many great ones out there. Someone else you're familiar with, Dan Vasc, was involved in one of my favorite versions of this, he collaborated with several other UA-camrs. The video is on the channel of a singer named Caleb Hyles (ua-cam.com/video/y7kBEGrLfjM/v-deo.html).
Listen to his covers ABBA the winner takes it all, one of us, Queen, every song he does he chruses it. Yes he was the guitarist in Sabaton. He plays over 10 instruments. If you want hear him singing high, listen to shes gone. Its not a song I like but he sings high.
He has a Dutch accent. You'll get used to the way her pronounces some words. He's TOP NOTCH in everything he does. You haven't heard anything yet. Check out his cover of The Prayer or Phantom of the Opera. HE SOARS! Thanks!
The other member of Seton Hill Studios actually covered that one here on the channel! Go to our homepage and you can find it under the playlist ‘Solo Artists.’ Thanks for stopping by!
@@setonhillstudios Of course he has an accent, anyone who isn't from the US, Canada, UK, or Australia will have an accent because English is not their native language. Europe consists of 47 countries! Not united countries like in the USA, but completely different sovereign countries! A completely different language is spoken in almost every country! Most of us can speak English, but everyone will have an accent because we rarely speak it and only write in English on the internet.

@@setonhillstudios Yeah it truly is.. you def should check it out 👍
This is one of my all time favorite songs and I love Tommy's interpretation of it.
Awesome! Appreciate the recommendation! I bet it’s killer!
Listen to his covers ABBA the winner takes it all, one of us, Queen, every song he does he chruses it. Yes he was the guitarist in Sabaton. He plays over 10 instruments. If you want hear him singing high, listen to shes gone. Its not a song I like but he sings high.
Awesome! Gotta check those out! Thanks so much! 😁
@@setonhillstudios Thanks!
@@lorriredmon8212 You’re very welcome! 😄
If you realy want to listen to his giutarskills you should react to his cower of Hundred of housands by Tony MacAlpine
On wow! Definitely need to check that out! Really appreciate it!
All the instruments are him.
🤯 such a beast!
Listen to ”Rise me up” with Tommy….just saying….😊
Thanks for the suggestion! A few others have suggested that one as well!
If you think that's good, you should listen to him sing a cover of she's gone by steelheart
You think this is good ? Try his version of the classic AVE MARIA !
Спасибо огромное за обзор! Очень классно, искренние эмоции:) Только ты неверно произносишь его фамилию. Она иначе произносится.
Thanks for the kind words and swinging by the channel! Such an incredible musician!
@@setonhillstudios да, это талант мирового уровня! Я верю, что у него огромное будущее впереди. Спасибо, что сделали обзор на его песню. ❤️❤️❤️
All I can say is . . . Pentatonix.
Johansson. Please.
5:44 He's Swedish, how should English be his primary language?
Didn’t say it should be? I said it didn’t sound like it was because of his accent coming through so strongly and his pronunciations.
Most of us can speak English, but everyone will have an accent because we rarely speak it and only write in English on the internet.
dude just playe the song please and comment afterwards, please
You’re welcome to go and watch the original video, it’s linked in the description! Also there’s some channels out there who sit quietly til the end, but that will never be us! We prefer to react and comment in the moment, we get it isn’t for everyone ✌🏼
Check out Dan Vasc,Caleb Hyles, Johnathon Young, Colm collaborators on this
We’ve checked out Dan Vasc, but not the others. Thanks for the suggestions!
