I must say Tommy is the best overall musican that ever crossed me, he play like 10 instruments, his voice is incredible with a range from F2-C6, yes as high as a female soprano. Sweetie, I'm nearing 66 years of age, and while I've heard quite a few really good singers I can honestly say not since Freddie Mercury have I truly enjoyed the singer as much as I have enjoyed this young man his range is phenomenal
For me Freddie and Ronnie James Dio are the greatest ever, but I think Tommy could be as great as them in 10 years, never seen his talent before!

His cover of You Lift Me Up one octave higher than the original is amazing so is his Cover of the Phantom of the Opera singing both the male and female parts.
He just moved and now has space for drums and he will now play them too. He is an excellent musician and can play them all. But his singing is truly impeccable!
Glad to see you reacting to Tommy finally, incredible musician! Tommy does everything about his covers himself - vocals, back vocals, instrumentals, mixing, mastering, video editing... His girlfriend only helps him with filming sometimes. He plays multiple instruments, but he started with the guitar at the age of 9, influenced by his greatest idol, Gary Moore. He started singing at the age of 15 and most incredible thing is that, other than basic musical education in high school, he is completely self taught when it comes to singing

What always gets me with Tommy having fun with his youtube videos.
He is the guitar player in one of the biggest metal bands on the planet.
He does not really sing in Sabaton. He does not really use his singing for anything other than having fun on YT.
However he is a better singer that many of the biggest stars in the world. He could frontline major bands as a singer.
But choose just to have fun with it on YT doing covers and what not.
Tommy has fronted bands since he was about 16. ReinXeed up until like 2010 or so and now Majestica.
So, if you ever hear someone say 'that was a righteous (whatever)', THIS is what they mean. He not only did the song justice, he went above and beyond.
Oh man , he has the the ability to give you that feeling you want to achieve, standing on a beach with you´re boombaster, just playing max, and this is what you hear. Eargasm. ;-)

I discovered him yesterday and I was blown away. I've went down his list and watched everything. The man is unbelievable. When he did this I was shocked because I never thought anyone could be as good as Steelheart singing this.

Tommy is so extremely talented! A real gift. He's cheeky and so funny as well. He generally drops a new cover every Friday. If you like history, the band he plays guitar and sings in called Sabaton does phenomenal historic metal tunes. One I recommend is the Motorhead cover of 1916. OUT OF THIS WORLD! Thanks for your cool reaction! You said that you didn't know why you were laughing. It's a common reaction to Tommy's music and singing: He makes people happy. And while during the song, he makes every word sound 100 percent true, as if he's living the song, he also, as you saw, can completely stop, make it look like he made a mistake, and then pickup right into the story where he left off. And the end of the videos always shows him doing something charming. Sabaton is the same way. Yes, their songs are often on very sad topics. But people feel better for some reason, like they can do more in their lives, maybe being inspired by others who still live in the songs. During live shows, Sabaton guys are usually working the crowd, making jokes, playing pranks on each other, because as Joakim says, metal is supposed to be fun.

Send, my son tells me this is a guitar made by LTD, model M-1000. It only needs one pick up because it also has a Trimalo package on it that the whammy bar is connected into as well. My son says LTD make most of the guitars used by heavy metal players and Tommy is a guitarist for Sabaton. I am assuming my son knows what he speaks about, he worked at a music store for 8 years while playing with several bands and now owns a live audio/lighting/video company.

Great reaction to Tommy! He is great!! He's like Dan Vasc where he does the rock, metal, disney, and everything in between! If you ever get a chance, you should react to an artist by the name of Faouzia, she is amazing, has a great sound mixes pop and Arabic sounds together, it is so good! Try anything from her stripped album, just her and either a guitar or a piano, so you can hear her voice, just beautiful!
This is a cover by Steelheart a band form the early 90's. It was their first album, it was a great album. Looks them up and check out the song Never Let You Go.

I totally get what you mean in terms of your voice just getting lower as you age. When I was younger I was a high soprano. I could reach crazy high notes when I was in my teens and early twenties. I'm 37 today, and my voice has gotten waaaay lower than it used to be. I can reach low notes that made me sound like a frog with a cold 10 years ago and I have to strain to reach those high notes I could get to without even warming up before. :P
You really need to listen to the original by Steelheart. Miljenko Matijevic's voice is magnificent!
