Thank you so much. English rider for 30yrs & I'm going Western now. Inherited a saddle that needed a new latigo & attach the cinch & I had no clue how to do it!! Now I do!

I needed to see the cinch hobble buckle. Mine is difficult to latch. Can’t find a video on it. This one was close. Went a little fast on that part.

How long is that off billet? Mine is too short (my new girl is overweight) to cinch in that way, so I need to get a longer one. Thank you.

What do you do if you don't have a keeper on the cinch?

I know you said it but I want to confirm? That cinch that you’ve got on there is good for roping, right? I just bought the same one. I want to know what makes a good roping cinch?

Yes, it sure is. A good roper cinch is going to widen in the center of the cinch, helping disperse pressure along the bottom of the horse's barrel and then narrow back down a bit as it goes back to the D's, which will allow the horse to have a complete range of motion without feeling bound up.

I'm sure you tried to make this simple, but for a complete beginner it's a no. That didn't help at all.
