    Well spoken and very easy to understand. I really liked the instruction about doubling the off billet! Great video.

    Love these videos! Sometimes when your instructor shows you things they run through them rather fast and move on. They often forget what it was like to learn. How many times I’ve heard them say, “ everyone makes turning way too difficult “. That’s easy to say once you’ve got it down and don’t even think about things when you ride, but it doesn’t help when the horse isn’t following my cues and We’re not turning. Yea it’s usually me not communicating with my horse, but we’re still not turning. Looking forward to more of your videos!

    I was always afraid that I could not get my latigo back together if I removed it for cleaning. So I never removed it. Now, with your excellent demonstration I have fear no more. Next time I will completely clean and condition the latigo. Thank you.

    GREAT JOB! This was so incredibly helpful!!
    What do you do if you have a front & back girth... guess I'll go to look at all your videos.

      Thank you Heidi Lawson for the kind words! For attaching a back girth, it depends on the back billets you have on your saddle. Some loop on the saddle ring while other tie to the front of the cinch. If you have any questions about attaching the back girth, we have very knowledgable Customer Service Representative who would be glad to assist you. Please feel free to call at 1-800-620-9145 or by emailing at info@ridingwarehouse.com . ~Katie, RW

    what the back leather on the saddle called ?

    • @Ridingwarehouse
      @Ridingwarehouse  8 років тому

      +Leila Witherspoon If you are referring to the straps in the back, there is the rear or back cinch, but you may also see this referred to as a flank cinch. That attaches to rear/back billets. Does this answer your question?

      After trying out other ways that just didn't make sense or look safe, I am relieved! I just ordered the English to Western conversion kit for my big warmblood, and this will also help me finally tack up my QH correctly and safely. More videos please :)

    Your latigo is tied incorrectly and will fail. Not a matter of if but when.

    Please don’t tie your latigo this way; it’s very insecure and will easily loosen. Use a saddlemaker’s latigo knot instead, which is a very secure method that will not come loose.
