The most important reason why Tejas is not a "safe" for some countries to purchase is because there are components used in the Tejas which are not "Indian origin", which makes the purchaser worry that if they are sanctioned by the IP-owner country of the said component, they might not be able to get the components in the event of repairs or maintenance. TBH, it has nothing due to geo-politics correctness, as some suggested in the comments.
Not only Tejas. SAB Griphen, Rafale, etc also have the parts from different countries. Didnt US find Chinese made parts in F35 recently ? . The main issue here with Tejas is about how fast it will be delivered and how good the spares available.
@@vividshots9188 . Having parts made in a foreign country is not the same as having foreign parts. First it isn't true that F35 has Chinese made parts. However, even if the F35 were to have a part made in China, it is still not IP-owned by China. So, not it will never face the danger that the part will be unavailable, unlike the case of India. As India does not owned the IPs of those parts bought from UK, France or US, or Russia. For just one simple example, the ejection seat of all Hal's planes of every model is licensed from BAE. India did not design many parts of her military planes. They are mostly either entirely foreign manufactured, or foreign licensed but made locally in India.
Get knowledge guys instead of wasting time on teach others "that they know anything" Modi govt is keeping a eye on Sweden gripen aircraft to replace ageing old mig21, it's shows that, the own govt of country didn't show interest to replace Tejas against mig21, if we dont support our own products, why should others want to buy it? We wasted enough time on developing home cauary engine, and it's a huge failures and we bought a engine from America and replace it, we wasted enough time on creating a own radar system and failed anf bought a radar system from Israel, now the jet was powered by American and Israel tech, those u hate America and Israel will never buy Tejas jet, for any spare they have to wait to receive from America or Israel, so instead of wasting money on Tejas, they better go for jf 17 or some Russian or Sweden gripen,
Another potential issue going against the Tejas is after sales spares and technical support. HAL, the manufacturer of Tejas also maintains Indian Air Force and Indian Navy aircraft, and is contract bound to give these two customers priority. Other customers may face delays in tech. support unless HAL increases its capacity.
@@shahrukhghous9336 yes. Capacity issues. It's the same issue with Russian and Chinese manufacturers, which is why their planes don't sell as much as western made ones.

It is common sense that no one would buy an aircraft that is never used. We must order a large quantity (at least 4 squadrons) of Tejas Mark 2s in the air force and produce most parts endogenously. Also, should consider hiring strong manufacturing engineers based on merit (or may be outsourcing it if people quotas are affecting quality). Once we streamline our manufacturing and consume them in large numbers (and making spares), it wouldn't be that hard to find buyers (or make profit). At this point, it is a waste of time worrying about foreign buyers.

Building aircrafts can become a quagmire without effective supply chain management. The assembly of an aircraft is a complex series of steps just like any other assembly. Each component or its respective LRU needs to be certified before it goes into the aircraft. The ordering of the parts or LRUs in the supply chain management system is a matter of timing to ensure the assembly personnel are working optimally with little downtime. These things are taken for granted in developed countries. It is a non issue. A robust manufacturing industry inspires confidence in customer, current and prospective. You cannot evade geo-politics.
That point I had always in my mind as to why is there a permanent air re-fuelling probe on Tejas. Maybe because of the style Mirage 2000 and Rafale didnt exist while designing LCA . Retractable probe is necessary even though a bit more mechanism necessary (and tht increases weight). Current gen fights have retractable Gripen, FA/18 etc.
Dubai 2021, LIMA 2019, Bahrain 2016. Each time the Tejas participated in an air show, the Pakistani team cancelled their JF17 participation. There were also recent reports in Greek publication pentapostgama about the poor construction of jf17 causing maintenance problems due to which the availability of jf17 in Pakistan Air Force happens to be only about 40%. The Chinese built airframe is already causing concerns due to its poor manufacturing quality. The jf17 situation in PAF is so bad that after buying 150 of these, PAF has now started buying the j10 fighters which actually get used in the Chinese Air Force and are considered a lot more reliable.

Pak's JF17 thunder has better technology than India's Tejas, which is a failed project.
Maybe because of the style Mirage 2000 and Rafale didnt exist while designing LCA
. Retractable probe is necessary even though a bit more mechanism necessary (and tht increases weight). Current gen fights have retractable Gripen, FA/18 etc.

I hope you survive until then.
Dubai 2021, LIMA 2019, Bahrain 2016. Each time the Tejas participated in an air show, the Pakistani team cancelled their JF17 participation. This formidable jf17 is not operated by its manufacturing country China and is only exported to poor countries.
Okay but what does JF-17 have to do with countries rejecting Tejas? Countries are not buying Tejas or JF-17, they are buying FA-50. India's competition is not Pakistan but South Korea
@@ViolentCabbage-ym7kofirstly wrt jf17, it has Chinese/Russian components meaning it has low acquisition cost and it can be sold to almost anyone willing to shell out $$. Whereas Tejas has American, British and Israeli components so countries looking for small fighters like Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Argentina, gulf and almost half of the world is ruled out
Secondly wrt your point about competition with s korea, inform me how many places where we have face it other than Malaysia? Exaggeration, falsehood, or plain stupidity???
Malaysia was a no go for Tejas from the outset, due to their Islamic hardline govt creating anti india rhetoric. I would say Tejas should not have participated in that competition as the result was well known in advance but regardless that’s not any reason to be pessimistic
Further, the fighter aircraft sales are based upon geopolitical factors so that cannot be used as a yardstick to compare fighter aircrafts. Having said that, it also seems unlikely that Tejas will get any export customers soon but the development and improvements must continue with the mk2 version and beyond
@@vm8136 If Malaysia was a "no go" because it is an Islamic country, HAL wouldn't have set up a regional base in Kuala Lumpur and India wouldn't have offered to service Malaysia's Su-30Mkm fleet. As of now KAI is starting the production of KF-21 where else HAL's AMCA is still on the drawing board. It's obvious that FA-50 block 20 is better than Tejas Mk-1A and unlike Indians, Koreans are not known for delays that can last for decades!
Not up to date news. Malaysian have rejected tejas. Malaysia already confirmed with Korea for 18 FA-50 Block 20 another 18 jets after all the first 18 jets have been delivered.
Who cares if nonody wants to buy it, Indian Airforce ordered it in 173 numbers so thats what matters.
Wait wait wait we dont use Harriers anymore, we use only mig 29s and now Rafael are coming
Because tejas se advance fighter jets international market available hai like f16 mig 35 f18 Rafael eurofighter
Yeah, Tejas is not the best option though. I feel sorry for Tejas. It has potential to be the best but failed to do so
A piece of Junk ! 😅 Buy Gripen E 👍
You are a true expert on aircraft😂😂😂😂
We're in 2024.
Nobody's buying hell Tejas.😅😅😅
Bro, you did not mention that most of the JF17s, infact all, purchased by Nigeria and Myanmar are grounded as they have serious maintenace issues, and are just dead investments
No one wants to buy Tejas because of US, RUSSIA, France lobby, the moment Indian Air Craft makes good name , Westers countries will have a new competitor.
It will take time... But Tejas will make its Presence in the world for sure...Time will answer.
Watch this guys another video 🤣🤣, you wil know what is western Propogenda in current war 🤣
This muppet is clueless to way this plane is made and where the parts come from, let alone how it's serviced.
Enquire how many jf17 s are grounded all over 😂
Same amount as your mom
Zero you fool
Well if someone wants to buys or not it is still a good light combat aircraft and due to use of technologies of different countries as well as india's new technology it has become a deadly package we 40 till now and we r going to add more 83+
On the basis of tejas mk1 we going to have our tejas mk1A which is in development stage so we t in the right direction yes our production is slow but it doesn't matter much if someone buys or not
It is better than jf17
No Indian army and airforce order but Indian Navy
Much discussion in coment box also in video. Lets make sure there is a hype on Tejas internationally though its a new born baby in aviation industry....long way to go and a bright future.
Bycycle Is Better Then Tejas Samosa 😂😅😅😅😅
Tejas technology is poor
Please update details 😂 India's power
Because Tejas is a hotchpotch of imported parts that no one wants. They were forced down IAF throat to keep it alive. AT best its a mig21.
Why NO ONE wants to BUY the HAL Tejas fighter? The Tejas may be is a good aircraft but HAL is definitely not a good company. The Tejas is supposed to enter service in 2011 and there are many delays and production are extremely slow. The IAF pilots are force to continue risk their lives to fly the aging MIG-21, flying coffins. HAL are doing aircraft maintenance for IAF and the IAF have the highest number of aircraft crashes in the world. Other countries that still fly aging aircraft doesn't crash as frequently as IAF. HAL show desperation in selling the Tejas, which make the deal smell fishy.
Please listen to Indians. They will guide you better. Tejas is a 20th generation plane way ahead of the present league because india has also provided the technology to Thanos. As per Thanos he has expressed his gratitude to the mighty ondians for providing the technology now he will beat the shit out of the Avengers. ❤❤❤❤
Oof! Sad to see beggers crying😢! Seems like your empty stomach is making you hallucinate. I feel fr ya my jihadi brother😂
dallah
Still failed miserably to get any export order.
And that is because IT WAS NOT MADE FOR OTHER COUNTRIES, HAL was not planning for this to be a world famous fighter jet, when designing tejas, the bureau had kept a single thing in mind, the needs of our air force, it can be mass produced and must have better capabilities than the mig 21 which is to be replaced. It wasn't made abiding by the needs of other countries or potential buyers, same way you wouldn't eat sauce instead of milk for breakfast. For a first timer, I would say it is a very good attempt indeed.
5000 test flights and not a single crash. Please don't make biased videos. Stay factual.
Just crashed yesterday. 😂
@@gregoirenoble1564 the fact that you are laughing at it tells a lot about you as a person. I hope most patriotic Indians will read your comment and realize you are an enemy of India.
Tajesh aircraft is used to replace 1960’s mig 21.
Lol seriously
Do you know even about its engine and why it got delayed for quality components
Wow, te-junk to replace MIG 29 in 🇮🇳 😂😂😂😂 Offer to USA as a trainer but tbe AMERICANS DON'T THINK IT IS EVEN FIT TO BE A TRAINER FIGHTER. HOW LOUSY!!!!😂😅
