@@DavidLee-tn3mo That's the kind of question that usually comes from Sydney because Sydney has a thing about being the only important place in Australia. Great video Jayden, very will done. Looks like Qantas are back delivering a quality product with the great Qantas crew that we all know and mostly love! 😅 When boarding, you really do have an Aussie accent 🇦🇺 👍❤️
Every morning when I’m at school I usually hear the Qantas A330 to Delhi and Singapore A350 and Malaysia Airlines A330 and most people don’t know Adelaide so It’s nice that now more international flights are opening up examples: Malaysia Airlines A330 KUL - ADL, Jetstar A320 ADL - DPS (Bali), Qatar Airways 777 DOH-ADL-AKL and soon on July 4th Fiji Airways 737 Max To Fiji and Air New Zealand 787 AKL-ADL hopefully emirates and other airlines like Qantas, Jetstar and other international flights and it’s great to go to the airport and see some massive planes back at the airport rather than the smaller planes like 737, A320, Saab 340, etc also great video love to see more videos out of Adelaide
Most definitely a super flight experience. The crews definitely came across extremely professional and caring towards all their guests, demonstrating how good QF is. Very impressed with the proactive response of all the QF staff, helping you make your connection on arrival. The review does whet the appetite to fly Longhaul after a long and forced absence. Well done to Qantas and thanks for sharing this unique flight experience!👏👏👏
Great video, Jayden. Nice that you could finally take a QF long haul flight from your home airport, well, maybe your second home port. Glad to see service has improved, 30 minuets wait is not bad compared to what we used to have to go through. Surprised to see a full second meal, would've thought that these flights would be similarly catered to those going to Asia. I've flown the 737 before in economy and the seats are pretty rough after a couple hours, can't imagine it on a long haul flight to Delhi or even Los Angeles! Nice socks too :)
Thanks Sam! Having a spare seat definitely helped haha. Couldn’t imagine otherwise. Btw I watched your BA LHR JFK video, not sure if I left a comment or not but it was a great vid, I lol’ed when you said ‘you too’ to the agent who checked you in😂
Great video!!! Very good to see Qantas have a international direct flight our of Adelaide but only to 1 location. The flight and food looked amazing. Hope your well
I love love working on the A330-300s in the past! And surprising that Qantas is willing to fly the A332s on such a long haul! That explains the half empty cabin due to weight restrictions! Love the trip report, you made me laugh so many times again and COATHOOK!!!
The food looked amazing on the plane. Too bad the US domestic airlines can’t figure it out. When flying in the US, you’re better off to pack your own food because unless you’re in First Class you won’t get any, and what you can buy onboard is basically dog food ❤️👍✈️
Loved this one Jayden!! I have seen other flights reports on how messy the cabin is after indian flights!! Great to see Adelaide and Australia really getting serious about international travel!! p.s I had those white chocolate biscuits on a rex flight, I totally agree, so so good :) 17:55
haha same! I was pleasantly surprised by the condition of our aircraft 🤣 I had those biscuits of VA just before they got rid of free snacks, the crew gave me extra haha
One awful experience with Qantas affected my opinion of them forever! To be fair though, the crew on this flight appeared to be doing an amazing job, full credit to them. Thank you for the video! Have a lovely weekend!
Wow! Long haul with some classy economy class. Two legged coat huke in the lounge and huke with a wink in the plane lav. You must have been to America by now. Hope it was good. Great flight and editing/commentary. When you left the plane ... "going to London?" Right this way. Priority and helpful assistance. Thanks Jayden.
Nice review, Jayden. Just a couple of things: a.) I wish you'd uploads vids in chronological order, so we can get a sense of your journeys as they unfold. b.) Would be nice to see more detailed transit vids at various interesting airports (if time permits, of course). Overall, I really liked this one and I'm a little more impressed with QF inflight servic,e especially since this one is a long haul. I'm fine with QF for short/medium hauls, but anything over 7 hours (in economy) and the difference with higher-ranked airlines (i.e. QR and SQ) starts to show.
I actually totally agree ..A narrative and flight journey chronologically much better ..Noel Phillips Non Stop Dan Josh Cahill all Chronological it creates a story but if you jump from Adelaide to India to Sydney to Adelaide to Melbourne all over the place it makes a 1 time watcher not a subscriber.. Hi Jayden 👋. Thanks for this comprehensive review. Kudos to Quantas for serving two full meals in Economy Class 👍💯. So many airlines, especially U.S. ones on domestic flights, cut back on their meal service during the pandemic and seem to be "reluctant" to restore it to pre-pandemic levels. 🤣 I always feel like I've won a lottery when my aircraft is not full and I can "grab" the middle seats for a comfortable bed! Loved your shots of London. Guess you just missed the Jubilee festivities.🤔 I am really looking forward to your upcoming vlogs from the U.K. and the U.S. Take care buddy and have a fun weekend 🤗❤️✈️🙏🌎
I love to see you enjoying your flights and this was a great review. I had Covid two weeks ago and am off work with stress now so won’t be flying again for a while but look forward to your next flight. A330 looks great for the length of flight you did but not sure I’d want to do Aus to USA on it!
Oh they send that aircraft from Brisbane and I think sometimes Melbourne to LAX, it won't be too much fun unless it wasn't full like this one haha. I hope you fully recover soon 💪🏻
Long haul from Australia is back.... Slowly but surely. I heard an ad on Brisbane radio today that Air Canada is starting back up soon with direct flights from Brisbane to Vancouver ! The Woy is starting to get smaller again 😁
Hi! I am your fan who also love avation a lot from Taiwan. I am really envy you that you can fly all around the world. I really love your video and your Aussie accent. Because of our quarantine policy, I have never travel abroad for over three years. I am just flying from Taipei from Glasgow via London on monday for my postgraduate degree in UofG, and I hope that I can fly around Europe this year. BTW, you make a really good video that I sometimes forget that I am just one month younger than you haha.
thanks for watching Alan. Do spend sometime travelling around Europe before flying home haha. My cousin from HK is doing just that in Europe right now :)
I travelled on Qantas from Sydney Australia to India before Christmas 2021 and the airfare was around $700 , in 2019 , I traveled from the Avalon airport in Victoria to India by Air Asia and the fare was around $220 currently Qantas is charging from $2,685 for a flight from Adelaide to India which I consider excessive , most international airfares out of Australia are very expensive currently , I can't see how an airline can justify a $1,600 airfare from Sydney To Singapore which is less than 8 hours journey yet you can purchase a airline ticket from Brisbane to Melbourne which is about a 2 hour journey for only $55 on some of the days of the week .
It is now the northern hemisphere summer and oil prices are sky high so tickets are so expensive at the moment. My ticket to Singapore earlier this month was $470 return with Singapore Airlines, I'm going again later this month and it's 5x the price, still economy, no kidding. A friend of mine is going from Adelaide to Europe tomorrow, he booked early in May and paid $1200 return. His friend booked a month later and legit paid $4000 in economy...! It's mad right now...
@@JaydenWong The problem at the moment is the lack of competition on international flights out of Australia . A lot of the international airlines that were flying in and out of Australia pre-CO-VID times are no longer functioning so the lack of competition has also increased prices . I noticed when looking at prices a few days ago that the Scoot Gold Coast flight to Singapore was about 50% cheaper than any other Australian city to Singapore but it could have changed by now as they might have been trying to fill vacant seats . The air fares from Singapore , Malaysia and Thailand to Europe in ratio to distances are often much cheaper than the Australia to Europe prices so if a traveller can get a reasonable priced ticket to those destinations first , then they can buy a more reasonable priced fare direct to Europe from those countries .
They need to do a non stop flight Sydney to Delhi as they are missing out on a huge amount of money. I fly twice a year Sydney to Delhi but have to fly air India as it’s the only direct flight available.
I agree, they don’t have enough planes unfortunately. You can tell by how flights they fly to Singapore and HK compared to Singapore Airlines and Cathay. Hopefully more 787-9 arrive sooner

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your flight and agree with you that the food looked fantastic. How long did you have to wait for the first meal I would have hoped they would have come round with a drinks trolley like beer of fruit juices.
not long at all, less than an hour. Someone actually told me that Qantas recently changed the service structure in economy and my flight was one of the flights with enhanced service flow, but I haven't heard much about it
Great trip report. You take pretty long flights whenever you can it seems like. How do you deal with long haul flights, and turbulence for the various points throughout the trip.
turbulence doesn't really scare me or annoy me, I enjoy it haha. For me it's physical health and killing time. I minimise my carbs intake and walk as much as I can between flights; whether at the airport (walking vs using travellator) or at the destination (walk vs taxi or even public transport for short distance)
Good flight and no wait time for meals because flight empty . Daughter and niece just flew Singapore airlines and emirates out of Brisbane ,not 🥕and flights were full..
Could you clarify the lounge situation in Adelaide please? You appear to be using the domestic Qantas Club, but the One World website indicates that there is a Qantas Club (International) Lounge post international security and immigration. What's the go?
it's actually the exact same lounge. The Oneworld site is confusing with the Qantas Club lounge situation haha. They do it as a separate lounge to emphasis those flying MH, QR etc can indeed use the Qantas Club before departure.
Wow Jayden I would have jumped over into the 4 empty middle section straight after takeoff. Will be interesting to see how the load factor is on this route as we open up. With 30k new Indian permanent residents arriving each year vs 20k+ Chinese seems like a no brainer for Qantas. Travel safe
I haven't had the chance to use the international departure area in ADL yet. Gosh I'm itching to fly international so bad but the bloody passport is taking it's own sweet time! Omg, paddle pop... Lol... Didn't think they still make those. It's something from my school days...
just had paddle pop yesterday to SIN👍🏼👍🏼 I like it a lot more than the mango sticks they used to give out in long haul economy haha. thanks Ryan, i look forward to the day you fly overseas and your video of it!!
actually if you are flying may 2022 after dayligh savings has finish it is a 4.30 hr timezon difference between sydney and india. adelaide would be 4 hr difference in time zone. this is due to me hearing the captain saying 5.30 difference
One thing I do like on the QF A330s are the upgraded seats in Y class. 26:43 now that’s the way to get to your next flight! 👍 #boulderingnotmythingeithersquad
Enjoyed the video. The only issue I had with this flight was the limited leg room, felt like I was in a domestic flight, but for 14 hours (BNE TO LA). Further, due to this lack of space, only if there is no one sitting next to you that you can use their tray as you wait for your dessert, but if there is someone sitting next to you, I found the tray space to be very limiting. If I every fly with Qantas again, I am paying extra for the exit row, or else I am choosing cathay, especially as you still score qantas points, however not the possibility of upgrades.
I’d admit, I thought Adelaide to Delhi sounded like a route I never thought would happen, but here we are.
sameee
Makes sense since them Chinese are misbehaving 🤨
Sad that they plan to move the departure port to Melbourne and make Adelaide travellers fly through there.

Curious to know what airline did you take for your Delhi-LHR leg and was it back to back or was there a layover at Delhi airport?
BA :)
I was at DEL for 6 hours
One thing I do like on the QF A330s are the upgraded seats in Y class. 26:43 now that’s the way to get to your next flight! 👍

@@JaydenWong now we got to blow it up
HI JAYDEN NICE TO MEET YOU FROM A COSTARICANAMERICAN 🇨🇷🇺🇸🇵🇭🇨🇷🇨🇷🇺🇸🇵🇭🇨🇷
so the lounges are before you go through security? that's a bit odd. or am i confused (which is probably the case)
Adelaide international area is within the domestic zone. The lounge was a domestic lounge. Hope that explains :)
May I say ,you have exceptional dress sense, you were looking very dapper on that flight, Jayden 🤩
hehehe thanks Marc, I either put 100 effort in it or 0 haha
@@JaydenWong 🤣🤣
Nice review. Looking at the inflight meal I love it😁👍
what device do you use for videography?
my iphone 11 pro :)
Cool trip report Jayden👌
One month late watching Jayden flying again. You made your speech rate fast forward haha. Your Cousin living in Stevenage?
oh really🫣🫣 She lives in between England and HK. Just lived in Bath for 4 years and relocated back to Hong Kong last month
What an awesome trip. Great food and service. 👌 Also uber jealous you got to go on the Elizabeth line. 😍
omg you changed your channel name! Lizzy line was 👌🏻
@@JaydenWong Oh - awesome. Yeah, seeing as I'm making a lot of train videos now, Aus Flight Channel didn't seem quite right. :P
U r the best airlines blogger i think better then Mr Sam !!!
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO
Another fantastic trip report, cute kiddies socks, you know what they say about guys with small feet 😉👍
Nice flight report.
Isn't this the domestic/regional economy class🤔 I remember they have a newer economy class product on their A330s
on the -300 variant they have newer seats, not on the -200 unfortunately. They fly this to LA, India and probably Johannesburg later this year.
Thanks for sharing. On this A332, do u think 23K is a good seat?
if you prefer bulkhead, totally go for it! I been on 24K on A330-300 bulkhead it was good
@@JaydenWong Thanks mate
你好,我係香港人。我之前住mel,依家住Leura,NSW。之前返香港有幸搭到A350-1000(國泰航空),去SYD搭A359。你覺得今次呢班機點啊?
Enjoyed the video. The only issue I had with this flight was the limited leg room, felt like I was in a domestic flight, but for 14 hours (BNE TO LA). Further, due to this lack of space, only if there is no one sitting next to you that you can use their tray as you wait for your dessert, but if there is someone sitting next to you, I found the tray space to be very limiting.
If I every fly with Qantas again, I am paying extra for the exit row, or else I am choosing cathay, especially as you still score qantas points, however not the possibility of upgrades.
Very nice ! 👍
thanks!!
the fear in your voice at 5:40 is hilarious.
