No proper lounge service and breakfast looked rubbish. Also, majority of QF inbound flights tend to arrive at the morning rush hour which is chaos. We stick to Cathay, Qatar and Emirates now ... and loving it !!! Always mid afternoon arrivals when T1 is quiet. Is 4hrs sleep on a red eye really enought for you? I LOVE that HKG MTR manage the SYD metro service, it runs like clockwork !!!!
Not enough of course haha. Just did Air France Dubai-Paris. Also 4 hours but economy😂 Haha yes only if London was like Sydney Metro too! Did you see Tokyo Metro will take over London’s Elizabeth Line?
I disagree, I think Qantas 6am arrivals for international is amazing because you get to reset your body clock as long as you stay awake, especially on LHR-SYD or something like that.
I took the same flight earlier this year in economy and I still remember everything. I also remember taking a photo of the Korean air next to us while we were in the aircraft. The Qantas staff were very nice and welcoming and the food was also pretty good in economy
Great video Jayden! When Qantas food is good I feel like it is amazing, I just had some of the best catering in business from Sydney to Bangalore and I love new metro in Sydney and did you know it was built by the MTR!
Always delighted to watch your videos but as an Indonesian myself I'm actually impressed at the full-blown Indonesian mains (Nasi Kuning & Nasi Goreng) with the ginormous size on not even an Indonesian carrier!

25:43, I was there at the end of July and the beginning of August, it's my 4th time visiting Sydney, the food is good, the public transportation train and place is awesome, my favorite place that I love to revisit, the weather is good and okay, sunny to partly cloudy skies, but cold, windy and drizzle in the winter. I would love to revisit Sydney again next year.
I’m not sure if it’s a norm for flights originating from Indonesia to have huge main courses, but I took KLM business from DPS to SIN a couple of years ago, and the portion was huge!
Jakarta Airport T3 is a complete opposite to T1 and T2 indeed, it's very nice and modern whereas T1 and T2 are both felt very old, I flew from all terminals in the past, but T2 is still acceptable for me, T1 is just so hot😂. The Plaza Premium Lounge with the open space can indeed be quite annoying as there's lack of privacy, but I think this is common across lounge on Indonesian airports anyway, even Garuda Indonesia lounge. I thought it was nice that Qantas has the Indonesian version of the safety video. The service takes a bit of time, I wish they could have start from the back as well to make it efficient, but I guess it may be due to the number of crews who are serving the business class pax. Omg, both main dishes looks so good, although I would agree that it's a bit overcrowded from the point of professional traveller, but I would be very happy to receive that meal, Qantas really did a good job on the Indonesian dish. Only when I thought the dinner has a big portion, that pastel is so so big. Back in the good old days in Indonesia, I never have such a big pastel pastry before😂, and quite unfortunate that it's not that good. Tomato sambal is not my favourite 🥲, I prefer garlic sambal which is spicier. Overall, I find QF's business class to be amazing though and great video Jayden
Hi Alden! Yes haha I stayed at the airport hotel a few weeks after this trip. In T2 I think? Looked very old indeed. T3 is much nicer. Qantas has since changed the service flow in business class and it’s supposed to be quicker. Cannot wait to experience it again :) Hopefully early next year if my upgrade request on my Melbourne-HK flight goes through. I wish I stayed longer in Jakarta. That was originally the plan but I missed my flight in Mexico and the domino effect means I had to cut short my stay in Jakarta to 12 hrs. Thanks so much mate!

I'm not going to get into the details as a UA-cam comment isn't going to change anything and they'll still sell plenty of tickets on that route as it's just them and Garuda.
My own bed- not really. It took me months to find a new flat in Hong Kong (thanks to rental crisis). I was living in hotels since March til early this month! Moved into my new home on Nov 6 and the next day I flew to Adelaide😂

I once had a terrible experienc with qantas. They delayed my flight up to 7 hours and i had a connecting flight that i missed. They downgraded me aswell! Atleast they didnt downgrade you!

Excluding the american airlines, 22 years seems very old for a national flag carrier's plane.

I love seat 7A on the -200s! You can push your armrest down for aisle access without moving your tray table ;)
It definitely feels like a different experience flying on business class on a red-eye flight in terms of comfort and hospitality :)
