Ayn should sell an upgraded board for us odin users
I have 62 PlayStation 2 games op and running perfectly on my Odín pro it is so nice🤘😎
btw your dock has a port in the back for a SSD drive! you just unscrew the 4 in the full back and pull it off and BAM! extra storage for docked gameplay! And the best part it it will auto connect to it every time its docked!
I have the RP3+ and I love it. But I wish the screen would be a bit bigger and with more power so it can perform better ps2 games. I am really consider to get an Ayn Odin, I think the size of its screen is just perfect. Not sure to get it or wait some more months, maybe a new handheld will come up with better features and a good price.
Supposedly an Odin 2 is in the works
It's about time for the Retroid Pocket 4. I want a slightly better screen, analog triggers, and for start and select to be on the face. If it can handle PS2 and Gamecube I would snatch one up in a heartbeat.
Retroid small screen sizes are their biggest issue by far. Much smaller than the competitors.
RP3+ is a great small device and the last update has made it soooo much better... but for my big hands the buttons are to small and the screen is also to small for me.
@@patsk8872 at first this was a reason for me to buy the retroid, and i do like it.
However I do notice that a lot of the games are created for a bit bigger screen and it lacks just a bit of power to be able to emulate my favorite games.
I just ordered an Odin Pro, I know the Odin2 is in the works but picking up an Odin Pro now for a good price seamed like a good deal.
I gotta say my favorite retro handheld is the razer edge. Does every emulator that exists on Android. Is light and portable with a 144hz display. I just wish it had the G-clouds battery size
Hello mate, did you place an early bird order for the Odin 2 this morning? Really looking forward to its release at the end of the year if they can stick to it, as it seems like such an awesome step up from the OG Odin in every way, which is really exciting!
Can someone tell me the frontend he’s using?
The odin 2 will be lit. I'm thankful for AYN cause this is a game changer. Companies will be forced to step up on the android retro handheld scene. Probably even the gaming phone scene
I just found this device, and I really wished I bought it instead of my Nintendo switch or even my Anbernic 350. I play alot of andriod games, and also have an intrest towards retro games. The pure fact that I can play Mobile legends and retro games on the same device really blows my mind
Considering that it's 199 now and nothing for that price comes close to a snapdragon 845 in power and with the good controllers and display... it's still worth it in 2024 I think.
the odin is perfect for me but my number 1 gripe is that on moonlight/sunshine streaming it's hardware decoding is only at 14 ms. my 2019 huwawei matepad, samsung a51 and s20 fe decodes much faster at 6-7 ms. 14 ms to 6 ms latency is noticeable especially when i switch a lot of device depending on my use case.
is this the Odin lite or Odin base?
I'll get the Ayn Odin handheld myself
one of my fav android handheld too but if only it was a little more powerful so that it can play switch very well even though up to ps2/3ds play well with or without tinkering the settings depending on the games….
I agree! Really wish it was more powerful at this stage.
If they would update the Odin with a 888 or 888+ i would get it instant
What front end are you using
Where do I buy one?
Any other Odin 2 backers watching all these glowing reviews of the original for buyers confirmation?
Ayn odin lite 4gb second hand for around $50 more or a new x55?
Odin is a great device. Hopefully they will upgrade the Soc with 870 or 888 in their next model
Just picked one up for 200, first proper handheld for me was going to get an abxylute or g cloud but the Odin pro 1 is more powerful.
How is Xbox remote on this?
Are you happy with it? Trying to decide between this and spending $100 more on the Odin 2.
How does the lite hold up to the pro as an emulator for GC and Wii?
What is that frontend you are using with the game covers and menu???
Reset Collection
Should i get this or logitech cloud for mainly ps2 emulation
This.
What front end do you use?
Reset
Hello did you know there is an Odin 2 now?
Yes, I do. I'm still trying to get one.
@@TechSummitTV same
Hey does your Odin have the SIM card a lot for cellular service? And if you do have you tried it and streamed consoles on it ?
He has Odin Pro. SIM is only on Odin Lite.
is this the pro model or base?
SD845 is for the pro model
@Fizky Novaldy snapdragon 845 on base to. By way ps2 run most games like 2x most. Gta sa needs vulkan 1.75x thier minor fps drops due gta sa lag even og ps2. So playable still. Most outher low end games like ffx max Pyane 2 run 2x.
does it support tv output?
8:29
Can anyone tell me if i can play arkham knight games or gta v?
What is the $price ???
It costs around $300.
@@TechSummitTV Steam deck is just better DEAL for the price imo
@@cankarahan8013 a steam is not $400 mate. Stop it with that meme.
@@sasoriobinnamii9223 how much is it than?
@@cankarahan8013 The base model is $399.
8 gb? That's Odin Pro, not Odin, isn't it?
yes
@@shrey1517 misleading title, then. I was expecting a base to be covered 😅
Just going to put it out there that EVERY ps2 game I run, I run at 2x
I wish my Logitech gcloud could 😢
Its Android 10, not 11
Excusable mistake since the Lite version has 11.
seems te Retroid pcket flip has some bad reviews
Can you play mobile legends
Honestly i think of you're going to get this, you're better off saving a little more for the steam deck, which is a huge jump for the price.
2-3x the price is not the same thing whatsoever
What front end are you using
