Awesome job! You hit some important points of info with the NCE update in yuzu, the ram swap, and the google play services fix. Lots of people have been having trouble with that last one so it's good that you added it to the video
I actually did the Google Play Services fix for Genshin Impact and then after this video, had an issue with Dead Cells. Now both are working well. Just to give everyone a heads up, in case they have that issue. Hopefully it will be addressed in the next SW update.
Hi Retro I just order my Odin2 I'm really excited to get my unit thank you for the yuzu and google tips this will be very helpful I took note of it thanks a million.
I have 2 Odin 2 pros- couldn’t decide on the color choices- one I made a more versatile Sony handled with more ps2 / psp games (black pro) the other a more Nintendo unit (16 bit us color ) with more game cube/ Wii / switch games.
Thanks so much for this video, I found it super helpful. The ram swap and storage options you mentioned. I am having issues with transferring files from the internal storage onto my flash drive hooked up to the usb c. It transfers only one folder at a time and the transferring icon never seems to leave the top of the screen until I force stop the transfer. Overall I’m really loving the Odin 2, I picked up the pro model. Some games I’d like to see running on here are final fantasy 10, resident evil 4 and the devil may cry series. Thanks again for this video.
Also, what I’ve been playing on it are shenmue, skies of Arcadia, and a bunch of street fighter snk fighting games. Also been bouncing around to different psp games. I’m waiting for some GameCube and ps2 games…soon :)
Great handheld, I was planning to buy this, but I decided to buy Ayaneo 2(used) instead, specifically because I paid the same price like Odin 2 Max.Ayaneo 2 give me the same possibilities as Odin 2 and much more !!! Easy and right choice!
Had to sell my Odin 2. The small analog sticks and d-pad were a dealbreaker. It makes it hard to get precise movement in certain game situations. I think this would be a bigger issue, but I get the impression that many people don't play games that require great analog sticks/d-pads. Otherwise, I agree...the device is fantastic. Hopefully, they'll improve these things and add at least a 7in OLED screen with the Odin 3.
Oh that is sad, but I completely understand where you are coming from. 7 inch screen and bigger buttons and sticks, the Odin would be the best. What are you getting to take it's place?
@@RetroFunTech The Odin 2 was my 10th handheld that I had in 2023. I’m very picky and so far I can’t find one that works on all levels for me. I’ve had a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, GPD Win 4, Win Max 2, OneXPlayer 2, AOK Zoe A1 Pro, Powkiddy X55, a Z Fold 5 with controller, Aya Neo Geek 1S, the Odin 2 and recently got a Loki Max. The Loki Max arguably has the best controls I’ve ever used on a handheld. Unfortunately, it also has some of the most bafflingly terrible software as well. So unfortunately, I may give up on it too if I don’t get used to it.
I was really hoping for an analog stick comparison between the Odin 2 and G Cloud. I find the G Cloud sticks to be not precise especially when cloud gaming and was wondering if the Odin 2 sticks felt more accurate especially during game streaming.

As much as I love my G Cloud, it has been collecting dust since I got the Odin 2. I love both but the power of the Odin 2 is amazing. I still think that if the extra inch of the screen for the LGC, the lightness of the device and the ergonomics might be a bit better than the Odin 2.
@@RetroFunTech Thanks again for the video. I think I am going to go with the miyoo mini plus with the grip case and a gcloud for at home portable gaming.

I wish I could but I don't want the Nintendo Ninjas after me. However, I will say this... if you search for the Turnip Drivers that I use in the video, that is one piece. The other is figuring out the file extension that they use. ::::in Forrest Gump's voice:::: and that's all I have to say about that......
Why not playing switch game on the real nintendo switch ? 😂 If you just want to play retro up to ps2 I think anbernic rg405m or up to retroid 4 pro is optimal choice money wise
Actually saw a video when the mig dropped. The guy actually used a switch to play yuzu on it. Clearly showed the emulator played better on the switch than the switch natively. Which then means why own a switch when you can have a multi system console for same price and run games at a higher quality. ( probably why Nintendo went full on war with yuzu/suyu )
I was given the pro for Christmas and after putting in a lot of time configuring the emulators I am loving it.

Main reason I sent mine back and a half dead rear right trigger 💯 main issue was play store though and getting booted out of games etc
I didnt get the notification when the video went up! 😭 watching late but cant wait to see how it handles!

Nice, the base is more than enough
Except they've sold out and don't know when a restock is happening
Just a correction - an exFAT formatted SD Card can hold files bigger than 4GB.

Why didn't you shut the main screen off when docked?
Yes, there is a setting to turn screen off when docked.
I plugged it in for less than 10 minutes and honestly didn't really notice it. Lol.
I like the part when you say that rp4 and rp4pro are a menace to this. lol.
please try monster rancher dx in odin 2, hoping that i can see it your video since nobody else do it.
Will It Play PS2 Or Nintendo GameCube In Full Speed
Where Can I Buy This Handheld
Will It Play On The TV If It Does How
I want one !!!!!
What yuzu firmware/yuzu key and driver you recommend?
I would like to see Madden games on PS2 tested.
They could put the latest Adreno 740 GPU since it is the premium model.

Is there anything the Odin 2 can’t do?
Does it have any Teen Titans games? I want a game I can play as Raven.
It doesn’t come with games you’ll have to find some yourself, maybe check if there is a teen titan game on ps2, GameCube, switch, or android
I know there is ps2 game cube and original Xbox. @@dripgodgaming7443
