I remember going to our local surplus store and digging through a big create of surplus knives in the 70’s. Most of the knives were of the smaller varieties...I ended up with a RH36 Pal knife that didn’t survive childhood.

I appreciate that it's 'by design', but the blade being slightly offset to the handle just looks weird. Your use of the word 'novelty' is appropriate too. I wonder if K-bar will be doing red, orange, white, yellow (etc) versions as well? Lol....

I mean yes 🎉 kabar was early on my brorhers and i knife haveing .... really pre collecting .... that and a gerber ar 3000. But i did show signs of the colector disease early buying a san mai master tanto at 15 or 16...... from a surplus store on young street that at the time and now seemed like way to much money
