Love Facenda narrating the bank sponsor at beginning of film. Unusual!

There were also United States National Banks in Portland, OR, and Galveston, TX. The Portland bank evolved into today's US Bank. The Galveston bank, the last one allowed to use the name after its use was banned in 1926, is now part of Frost. The San Diego bank was taken over by the FDIC in 1973 when its owner (C.A. Smith, who also owned the Padres) was caught stealing money from the bank, which had become the largest in the city. Its assets were taken over by Crocker Bank, which later merged with Wells Fargo.

Watching Dickie Post I am reminded of my late father demanding to anyone who would listen: "Somebody tackle that little bastard!"

Not too many players like Russ Washington (9:31-9:34), apparently drafted and played defensive line for two seasons, then was moved to the offensive line in 1970 and became a 5-time Pro Bowl selection and eventual Charger Hall of Famer.

Amazing how the offensive linemen look like actual humans, not steroided cattle.

Would the 1963 chargers had a chance with the nfl champ bears?

No way in hell the Bears D would have shut down that high powered Chargers offense
