Best way to spend a birthday for sure! That Texas flag board walk has to be in the top 5 coolest board walks I’ve seen. Awesome riding by everyone involved in this video
We had killer time at Spider Mountain! We rode all of the lines except for the double black. I will get some video of that one next time out! My buddy "Shredder Dave" can really rail that Texas flag wall ride! Thanks for the comments amigo!
What an exciting video! Spider Mtn is definitely the mtn bike Disney World of Texas! I think I saw my friend Shredder Dave leading a few of the trail shreds. Thanks for sharing...looks scary af, but fun. What is the saying? "EVERTHING WILL KILL YOU, SO CHOOSE SOMETHING FUN"! I think this could be applied here!😊♥️🚴♀️👍
We are really fortunate to have Spider Mountain here in Texas! It is a great place to ride and progress and just have fun. Shredder Dave is the star of the show on this video!
@@JefcoMTB , he is a very nice young man and I enjoy his friendship on social media. We are members of many of the same cycling groups. I am just happy to see him sending it again!👍
That place there looks like a damn good time. I’m trying to get transferred from Seattle to Austin for work, and I’m looking into fun things in TX. This is the icing on the cake! I live in an area full of trails now, but I have to drive a few hours to get somewhere with a lift.
Thanks Keith! I appreciate the feedback! The first time I rode at Spider Mountain I was totally caught off guard by how raw some of the trails were in person.
What bike are you riding? I’m looking at getting a yt jeffsy which is an All Mountain bike and I would love to take it out there. Do you think that would work?
I am riding the Pivot Mach 5.5 which is spec'd as a trail bike by Pivot. I use it for Enduro and downhill riding with no problem. It has 160mm travel up front and 140mm in the back. The Jeffsy should be an even more capable bike for downhill and enduro style riding. I say go for it!
Thanks for watching! Music is always a challenge with the copyright rules but I try to mix it up a little lol. I love your profile pic! That is bad ass!
I am riding a Pivot Mach 5.5. It's an enduro shredder with 160mm travel up front and 140mm in back. My buddy Shredder Dave is also on an enduro. My friend Grant was on a downhill bike. Gig'em!
@@JefcoMTB very nice ya you guys make the turns look easy. I went this weekend on my Orbea Hardtail. I was able to do it but felt out of control a lot. Also much less travel in the fork. Looks like you had some type of humble set up. What are you using? I was using my chest mount with a gorpo and my footage was all choppy, but probably cause my Mount was not tight enough
@@aggieforlife13 I have ridden Spider Mountain on a short travel full suspension and it is a lot more fun and more forgiving on my current rig. I was using the Hero 8 with the chest mount. You do have to tighten the straps to get the best results. The Hero 9 is out now with even better stabilization (supposedly).

Love the end “oh shiat”. I know how that goes. Great video!
I was slip-sliding around all day! Side knobbies were toast on my DHR2 in the back. New tires fixed that! Still had an epic day!! Thanks for watching!
Nice vid! Spider Mountain looks really fun. I need to make my way out there some day...
They are adding more lines and features. I was there last weekend and had a blast!
Man, this place looks pretty epic for it's size! Great video, brother!

You will love it! Lots of trails in the Austin area besides Spider Mountain as well.
I never noticed that berm gap from the top of itsy into viper. I'll be there in a few weeks I'm trying that. Looks super fun!
It's a nice variation and fun little jump into Viper! Have fun! I was there again yesterday and it was a scorcher!
@@JefcoMTB yeah i'm expecting it to be hot. It'll be less torture than these south Louisiana summer days I'm living in. The air is literally hot soup

Oh it's more than fun my friend. It's an amusement park for shredders!
🤘
Hey I'm in the video, not riding but still in it. :-)
I had some footage with you out in front of Shredder Dave but you left us in your dust trail!
@@JefcoMTB it's the motor, I'm not that good. ;-)
Great video! Any late 2020 races. at spider mtn?
Thanks! There is a race coming up in December. The last race of the Texas Enduro Cup.
@@JefcoMTB awesome bro! Thanks for the quick response!
Ha ha the out takes! Nice edit dude!
I was slipping and sliding all day! Had a blast out there.
Wow!!!
You need an “oh, shit” sticker on your bar lol
Great editing; some vids don't really show how rough some of the trails are. Love the "oh shit" out-takes--totally relatable
