Dude! Spider Mountain rocks! He he see what I did there?! Sting was unfortunately closed when I went there in 2021. It was my son’s and my first bike park and he still talks about it. They have done an amazing job with the elevation they have. Glad you guys got to experience it. 🤙😊
Ha! I love good bike puns! I probably have that one in one of my thumbnails 😄 I bet it was a blast with your kiddo. It's gotta be so rewarding to watch your kids rip!
You’re Cali Garbo anyway mtb is soft and for pansy’s compared to enduro dirtbiking so it doesn’t matter if you choose Texas or touch butt land California you’re still a booty warrior because you ride pedal bikes!
Texas is an awesome place. I'm sure California is nice too. Open your mind a little and go exploring. Start at Palo Duro and head out to Big Bend then go out to east Texas.
@@DustyTrailsMTB It would be an extra 12 hours of driving (each direction), and we decided that wasn't worth it. Also, we are really enjoying the riding in NM, so going to hang around here until there's too much snow.
hey man i have a carrera as a bike but any time i go riding like what your doing something breaks and goes wrong. what bike to you have as it looks great for the job. thanks
Hey bud, thanks for the question. Are you asking which trails to ride at Spider Mountain? I'd start with the green runs, Itsy Bitsy is a great opportunity to work on riding skills, even for more experienced riders. If I didn't understand your question correctly, please let me know! Have fun out there!

Texas is an awful big place... Widen your imagination a little... Texans love hearing the small mindset of visitors to our great state. Yeehaw!
I joke. We go to Texas now and then to visit family. I do love Big Bend and Guadeloupe!

I just went today and I wish I could rip as fast as you
I appreciate that, but I'm sure it just LOOKS like I'm going fast because of the gopro effect!
@@DustyTrailsMTB I’m going back in September so I’m really excited for that.
Compared to most videos of Texas trails you are ripping lol
@@johnfranklin6707 That's just bike park flow! I just close my eyes and take my fingers off the brakes!
My brother has been looking for a good place to mountain bike. Thanks, it's only 2 hrs from SAT.
This place is worth a 2 hour drive for sure! There is some other stuff in the area as well, so he may as well camp out there and make a weekend of it!
Wow this looks so fun! I live in Fort Worth and have been wanting to go someday but def no where near skilled enough.
There's no better way to build your skill then just riding as much as you can! There is plenty of progression to be had at Spider Mountain.
That wooden feature at 9:42 seems super sketchy to me at trail speed. Has potential to send you to flat / into the rocks if you're not careful.

We did get out to Big Bend and spent a bit of time there! It was amazing! And we were back in Dallas for the Eclipse this past April!
Loved the VO on this video! Scouting for winter rides 😊
Thanks Dude. What did you decide? Heading to TX?

Lots of things break on my bike too. I'm about to drop some serious cash to bring this thing back up to speed. I'm on the Fuel EX (Gen 6)
@@DustyTrailsMTB thanks alot, i just looked at the price lol
So good! super professional DH rider!
Faaaaar from it! But I'll take the complement!
Camera makes it look like you are FLYING lol
Are you saying I'm NOT flying!? 😤 (just kidding. I'm NOT flying! That gopro lens makes every trail look so flat, but at least it makes me look fast!)
Is your bike double suspension which one do you use
It is a duel suspension bike. I'm on a Trek Fuel EX (Gen 6)
I need to step my game up.
i hit the “scary” bridge on stinger on the onewheel, it’s not too bad 😁
Right on dude! 🤘
Soo good dude…
Thanks duuuude!
what do you recomend to do for a newbie mtb er

Only way to clear the jumps is to take your finger off the break 😂
This is always the case. Yet, somehow I always forget🤣
Hi
helmet cam in descenders
Not sure what this means. 🤔
Huh?
Pretty good for the most boring state 😮😅
Glad you enjoyed Texas. These days, seems like everyone else from California enjoys it as well… Don’t California our Texas, please.
Coloradans say the same thing about Texans! 😉
Haha fair
