These guys always have the absolute maximum of experience, training, and valour. When they signed up they went straight to the most elite sections of special forces
Well to be fair to special forces, it’s not everyday that someone joins the US military after being orphaned and found by the French Foreign Legion in the desert at age 5, and then training with them for 13 years before immigrating to the US after saving a marine unit in Iraq by single handedly killing an ISIS military group with nothing but a toothpick

There are some people who are genuinely unwell. However there are those who try to use the uniform and patches/ribbons/ medals to gain respect or something like a military discount or veterans perks
@@urielmartinez2161 if you live in the USA or even the UK there’s a prestigious honor that comes from serving in the military. You’re held up as a hero of sorts. Plus there’s decent benefits like getting your higher education paid for, being on tricare (basically health insurance for active and retired personnel and their dependents). There’s also perks like a military discount which is usually in the realm of 10% so it saves a bit of money
I've been out of the Navy for over 35 years. So therefore I haven't kept up with all the uniform changes and would have a hard time telling what is legit and what is not. Some are really obvious and some are not. I used to wear old woodland camo pants I picked up at Gun shows and surplus stores because they were really good work pants, tough and cheap. People would ask me if I was a Marine and I would tell them, no I scored too High on my Asvab. Then immediately tell them, I was a proud Squid. After 9 11, I stopped wearing them so people wouldn't mistake me as a recent Soldier or Marine and thank me for something I didn't do. I do wear my Navy Veterans ball cap, as a result, I have had a few Homeless Veterans reach out to me as a fellow Brother to talk to, which is what us older guys should be doing. People have Thanked me for my service and I will tell them, I appreciate it but the only real Danger I was ever in was running out of beer and money in the Philippines said with a chuckle. I really hope that many of these young Veterans find the peace they deserve and earned. God Bless
I've heard quite a few stories from bubbleheads about the Philippines. Finally convinced one guy that his "fiance" was scamming him, we found out through some guys that were still active on the boats that she was married with 4 or 5 rugrats, thankfully the bubblehead had only sent her about $5000 for all of the "corrupt customs officials" that she had to "bribe". Apparently after Subic Bay closed, Ukraine became the "new Philipines" for those love sick guys looking to be scammed. Thank you for your service!
In all my years as a belly gunner on a baking soda powered submarine I've learned you can tell the fake soldiers right away because they go on about how much they did and how great they were and those of us that really did serve seem to talk more about the people we served with and the things that they did.
I certainly find truth in this. My brother's the one who served, and most of his stories have less to do with military operations and more to do with his experiences with his fellow soldiers. In fact, I couldn't really tell you what my brother does in the Army, but I can tell you that "Smith" hates mayo on his hot dogs, that "Ericks" got smoked for accidentally telling his CO to "eat a d*ck", that "Johnson"'s Jamaican accent comes out when he's angry, and that my brother's CO was trying not to laugh as he checked in on my brother on the radio after seeing him fall on his ass on the cameras he was monitoring.
I tried 3 times to join as soon as I was 18 its all I wanted as a child and highly respect anyone who serves but never ever would I pretend to be someone I am not or disrespect anyone who served. Thank you to all who served
My cousin really wanted to join the army when he was in school. But abusive parents drugs, alcohol and eventually dropping out of school in 7th or 8th grade eventually landed him in prison for 2ed degree murder of his father in a case that has always been believed to have been committed by his mother.
These people put in so much effort for a ridiculous story, it would have been less effort to join the service. SMH. I get embarrassed as a civilian nurse for the army when people thank me for my service. I explain that I work for the army, I’m not in the army. I love my job ♥️
Every civilian I ran across while in was super friendly and loved their jobs. Thanks for putting up with the youngsters and their antics. I surely was one.
True. But one thing the military wont except everyone . No excuse to be a scammer but yea i would of love to join but couldn't . Just to you're point .
While my father stayed in the Infantry after Korea, my father served in Vietnam as Infantry, my Uncle Tommy went from serving in the Korean War as an 82nd Airborne Pathfinder, in 1963 he was accepted to be in the Army’s new special unit called the “Green Berets” and completed the school in 1963. He also served 2 tours in Vietnam but as a Green Berets” in 1963.

@Mr. W the good guys compared to who, the people they're fighting? The ones beheading civilians, journalists, women, children, etc? I can't say for certain but I believe it is illegal in some states here too. I don't really keep up on it so somebody else here probably knows better that me.
A coworker of mine likes to brag about his military days. Once, he told me he fought in Vietnam, during the fall of Saigon, which was in 1975. This guy is two years older than me, so he was born in 1963. That would make him 12 years old when he fought in Vietnam. He also likes to tell one particular story about how he led six Navy seals on a Search & Destroy mission to find a Great White shark that the Russian's had strapped a nuclear bomb to its back. The shark had been "programmed" via brain-washing to swim into the rivers of the East Coast of the U.S. and to make its way to Washington D.C., where a GPS sensor would trigger the bomb to explode.
I have met a few folks who flunked out of SF and SEAL training and I have great respect for those people for being honest and for trying. I grew up in Okinawa and we had Field Day at school every year when the SF guys would come over and along with the Biy Scouts they would build some cool stuff such as towers and bridges. It was really fun! We were in Okinawa after dad left Vietnam. Okinawa was such a cool place to grow up!! I often wonder what my dad would think of these guys?
My brother tried out for BUDS just to see if he could do it. A few instructors convinced him to drop out telling him he would be nothing more than an expendable trigger man with no future in civilian life. To this day my brother only talks about the fun times in the Navy and nothing is brought up about BUDS out of respect for them guys.

As a fully disabled combat veteran myself, I think it’s more sad than anything. I’m not going to go out of my way to accost some homeless idiot in fatigues for stolen valor but I can see why some would. I’m somewhat the opposite. I don’t wear shirts or hats or have bumper stickers or a DV license plate. Somehow people still figure it out whenever I see someone who does have those things and I thank them for their service because I did it before my service and I do it to this day. What’s sad is knowing there are probably people I did that to who never served a day in their life. It won’t stop me from doing it though. I will say I have considered having a shirt made that says something along the lines of “Atheist Combat veteran” because I want to help dispel the MYTH of “there are no Atheists in foxholes” because even though TECHNICALLY that’s true because we use DFP’s or Defensive Fighting Positions and not foxholes anymore but regardless the stigma is the same and it’s a lie!!!

I’ve seen a bunch of these vids and always thought that some of the guys confronting were as bad as the guys wearing the uniforms and you sir have given the best advice and insight into how to handle these situations and look at the people committing stolen valor
Great job!
I've always thought that myself. You gotta wonder if some of these guys have seen combat or lost alot of friends like they all say...not everyone who served is Rambo
"This package is pretty good"...LOL...😂
I always like the guy in the mall. "All I do is, I go out on missions."
He's confused! Probably dementia!
He wasn't Seal... dude! Look at him! He was a Walrus!
Meal Team 6! 😂

😀
Respect and thanks to all those who actually served in the armed forces in our country. Unfortunately the only military battles I’ve been in was Call of Duty. Lol but seriously thank you all you veterans for your service.
Most of the guys have mental issues. These guys screaming "that's MY uniform, take off MY uniform" are the worst. Call 'em out and move on.
All that PTSD
Yeah the 1st dude definitely seemed special and i don't mean ops either
Agreed!
Doesn't matter mental or not. Their adults. Stealing Valor. You must not know the sacrifices made wearing those uniforms. The blood. The death. The dismemberment. Just because they have mental problems doesn't excuse them from what they are doing. They need to be yelled amd screamed at because they don't understand regular words.
Actually the Supreme Court has said they can do it so long as they aren’t receiving monetary benefit from it. Period. He/they can wear whatever they want, as long as they don’t leverage monetary gain from the uniform that isn’t/wasn’t theirs. That’s irrefutable.
My mother was in a band with her father (army vet 1965-1966, stationed in Germany) and she had a drummer in her band that claimed to be in Vietnam. He was not in Vietnam, even though he went to the Vietnam Veterans memorial in D.C. and cried when he got there. My mother never told her father about his stolen valor, because he would have been very angry.
I can't really talk about my military service because of the security clearance I hold. But I can say that my experience as a MACV-SOG stealth plumber aboard the USS Flatulence in Pooh Rahn Bay was a great experience.
Wtf😂❤
You served admirably, grasshopper...
Didn't the USS Flatulence get hit by an air pressure type torpedo that stank of sulphur? 😅
😂😂😂 omg all these comments are just hilarious and the replies even more so! Nice one all of you. 😂😂😂
In defence of some there are non disclosure statements that some had to sign everybody agrees to a form of nondisclosure when there discharged but ya gotta keep your mouth shut about it all the time ie nobody knows ya signed it till its past its time cause the idea is don't talk as in no words about it to anyone
The homeless vet guy didn't do anything wrong. You can actually wear military clothing as long as it's not properly put together.
Jameson, you remind me of James C. Burns. You guys have an equal level of badassery.
Woods!
Lol i thought i was the only one who saw it
Bruh I’ve been saying this since I first found this channel. Frank woods after the war lol
I burst out laughing when you said 'submarine door gunner' 😂
