Steven Furtick may well have just been saying God’s name: I am… He was clarifying how he wanted to address God Almighty. Also please where does it say in scripture to “call out” false teaching? And how do we judge who is false and who is not, especially when judging from a two second video clip? I would also like to know if people who call out other professing Christians PRAY and genuinely seek the Lord before they go public. Do any even reach out to the so called false teachers first before publicly accusing them?

I do try to call out all the nonsense and for what? I get everyone arguing back and tell me I’m wrong. So many times I just want to just give up. I’m alone I’m all alone. I don’t have a wife who supports me in my walk and she just wants to live worldly and worship Jesus her own way and kids who just really care unless when they are going to play the next latest game. I was once a drug addict and I feel like I’m being condemned every which way and my walk with Christ is alone.
Hey brother!!! I love you but Jesus loves you even more. DO NOT GIVE UP!!! you hear me! IM YOU!!!! an ex addict. My wife loves Life church the Mega church that’s as dangerous as the other mega ones . False worldly stuff everywhere! Spoiled kids that’s about gaming and I’ve been called “unbalanced” and a liar and wrong for speaking out against false teaching. I’m learning though that I can’t be my wife’s Holy Spirit and I just need to pray that her eyes become opened to the truth . Pray for conviction to enter your wife’s heart and that yall become one in Christ as I am mine. And try to see past the bratty kids as I am. It’s hard though lol. We gotta show grace as God shows it to us but be firm about our faith in Jesus.

@@chrislopez2125 Oh man I am so so sorry that I took so long to respond to you and I should have done it the moment I saw your message and I spaced it from working and other things in my life I have been focused on. I’m doing good I wish I can say I’m doing great but let alone I’m still going and still staying strong by the goodness and glory of our Lord. Hey I want to thank you so much because nobody outside of my immediate asks me how I am doing. I need more brothers and sisters in Christ to communicate with so that I don’t feel so lonely in my walk. Yeah it’s amazing just the other night I was trying to show my wife this small clip of someone who is atheist but yet understands the sincerity of the Christian faith it was amazing. Then she got so angry out of the blue and basically was telling me to not do that because she feels the way I feel is cultish and that I warped the way I feel about Christianity but if she basically hears a little bit of the gospel from the preacher at our church she gets convicted. I just can’t understand it. Hope to hear from you again it was awesome.
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but Steven furtick definitely preaches well and correctly, although he does occasionally interpret things wrong. Like when he said that, the words, ‘I am god almighty’ that was from the verse he was preaching on. He’s not saying he is god

I agree… I still don’t fully understand why people don’t see the error in Calvinism… the philosophical standpoint is insufficiently supported in scripture. This is no attack on anyone who holds to a predetermined viewpoint, I just highly recommend that you pray and study the scriptures and really think about the heart and the character of God. And isn’t possibly thinking higher of yourself to think that God determined you would be saved? What makes you more special than another human soul? Yes, only God saves. Grace is a gift… but if God never made Adam and Eve inherently wicked, they became that on their own, why would God design the path back to Him solely based on Him? God provides a way for all to be saved. We spread the Gospel so people MAY BELIEVE. God graciously gave us a free will, we can reason and through God’s Word and believing that message may we receive the free gift of faith and be saved! No, your choice doesn’t make you born-again, God Word and believing that message does because God provided a way for you to be saved.

God pre determined who will come to him an who wont, technically it is still our choice just God knows who an the outcome.
I would say Adam and Eve are the only 2 with complete free will since they weren’t born into sin. Yet their free will still choose sin.
But from Adam everyone has been born into sin and is a slave to sin.
Free will necessary comes down to good will. We can do nothing good outside of Christ we will only choose sin. Even in good deeds, Bc when we are a slave to sin we glorify our self. We sound trumpets instead of doing good good like it’s natural.
The reason everyone boast of good deeds is a sign they don’t do many in the first place. Jesus said do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give in humility.
The Bible says no one seeks God and says natural man can never understand the things of God.
When we are slaves to sin we are free from righteousness
When we are slaves to God we are free from unrighteousness.
