Guitar: 2020 Stefan Nitschke "Romanillos" SP/CSAR (tinyurl.com/y6...)
Here's Raphaël Feuillâtre performing the first movement from Jean-Philippe Rameau's "Pièces de Clavecin in D Major" called "Les Tendres Plaintes" on a fantastic 2020 Stefan Nitschke "Romanillos" model made with spruce top and CSA rosewood for the back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.
Huge thanks to the folks at Apogee Electronics (ApogeeDigital.com) for the use of their Ensemble interface in these recordings.

Rameau is such an underrated composer... The playing here is so beautiful, no doubt Raphaël Feuillâtre is the future of classical guitar !
He feels every note - he is not just playing/operating the instrument. Amazing. I loved every note. THANK YOU Raphael for sharing your art.
A truly musical guitarist... playing stylistically for the period. What a revelation and inspiration this young man is !
While I love his interpretation of Rameau's "Les Sauvages", I find his interpretation on this just a little bit overly-romantic, especially for the period.
Nice to hear a guitarist that makes you forget about the guitar and invites you to hear the music. Poetic.
This guitar is just beautiful! But it’s the magic of guitarist to make it sound good!
Now, three years after my first reaction, I watched this video again. And it stroke my heart again. I learned to play this piece myself by watching the video and studying the original score of Rameau. I made my own transcription from this source and after having watched other interpretations. Now finally, after having studied many hours over a period of three years, I can play this music on my guitar. I am so grateful for being able to play this now. Thank you very much, Rafael. Please continue playing beautiful music on your guitar. ❤
Yes, I agree these videos are great, and are learning tools too. For me they're helping me with figure out some positions on the Villa Lobos etudes that I wouldn't have otherwise found.
this is what you wrote about Bertram Burkert's rendition for some 4 years ago "@theothomassen6066"
(A splendid arrangement of this masterpiece. And so wonderfully played by this young guitarist.). which one do you prefer? both interpretations are magnificent, but i personally listen more often to Bertram's.
bravo - beautiful.
The playing is so sensitive, i love this guitarist. Bravo !
Bliss any musician from any instrument should hear this . Sublime Raphael
Not every day we bumb into such deleightful surprises: the composer and the remarkable interpreter.
What a sound! What a clear tone! Astonishing.
Sometimes I get tired of classical music, but with this playing it is impossible. Great job!
This guy is beast. He is the new Barruecos, Russell of our times. God bless you man
probably you wanted to say "best", didn't you?
@@robieordogh1784 beast is like a slang way of saying ‘really good’
eg. look at him go out there, he is such a beast!
@@xenomuller7322 thx for the explanation:)
That is how to play the guitar. I can recommend his Naxos CD, and there are plenty of other videos out there. Sublime.
This guy is phenomenal. He is in a league of his own.
Quelle musique magnifique !!! c'est également superbe sur guitare, quelle interprétation !!!
Beautiful and works incredibly for guitar.
Fabulous interpretation, so delicate, so much baroque restrain. Like silver notes raining (from where?), a true blessing to hear!
Your right hand playing the strings are like leaves on air. This hand brings the piece the necessary subtlety. Amazing
This moves me deeply. Thank you Raphaël
Exquisite brilliance can be felt through every touch of tone. Maestro, merci
Bravo Raphaël, soulful interpretation, so nice playing and wonderful music
Raphaël tu joue avec une superbe sensibilitée; la musique d'abord! Bravo! Superbe!
Such masterful playing! Great clarity and nuanced emotion.
His incredible technique and musicianship got me hook onto every note in this beautiful transcription of the great master Rameau. I like the delicate touch, tone and clarity of the notes, in particular those trills play across two or three strings. Superb performance!
Some of those trills just sound incredible - so clean and accurate.
Wow! Didn't realize this piece suits the guitar perfectly. Kudos and thanks!
That's an incredible Stefan Nitschke guitar he's playing. Beautiful playing on an incredible guitar ❤❤❤
I’m not familiar with this piece but enjoyed the guitarist ability to play it. Well done!
This guy is amazing!!
Thank you for sharing,
Wolfgang

Phenomenal feel
Beautiful piece, an even more beautiful performance.
Superb player, tracking his videos to watch and listen now and then.
BEAUTIFUL
I think Raphaël Feuillâtre well understand the essence of this masterpiece.
One of the nicest compositions transcribed for the guitar and a great challenge to master. Bravo maestro!👍
This guy is astonishingly talented!!!
C'était magnifique! Bravo, superbe interprétation. Une pièce géniale magnifiquement jouée !
Très beau! Merci beaucoup Maestro !
B-E-Utiful! and yes you are the future of the classical guitar!
Absuloutly heart blowing
Both guitar and player
La qualité des trilles !!!!
Very beautiful tone! This is the true guitar. I love your art.
Raphael's trills are amzing! And the stretch and strength of his pinky - I'll bet it could flip over a Fiat 500!
Bela técnica jovem muito bom.Lindo Demais.

magnificant
Thanx for this wonderful performance. Can you help me to get the Sheets of this Transcription?

Magnifique Raphaël ! Merci 😘 Es-tu rentré ?
Très beau !
Incredible performance
Is it possible to obtain from you a copy of this beautiful score? Cari 😊
Bravo!
bientot en concert à Dijon le 25 janvier2022!!!!
dieu que c'est beau !
A really hard piece to transcribe for guitar, great interpretation and execution!
This guy is my favorite guitarist
not studying Rameau is like a Physicist not studying Newton
Well done bro
🙏🌹💖👏
Nice playing!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
rest strokes absurdly well done. We don't see this often...
my god this a beautiful piece and it is played effortlessly, I was deeply touched by this interpretation!!!
The master of our generation. Pure artistry
So who wants to explain to me what he does at 1:47
Inspired by the lute technic... Descending arpeggios on 3 strings (or more) with i and m. The i gently scrub the strings very fast and immediatly the m does the same thing. Very good choice on the guitar.
This brother ain't playing y'all... Beautiful tone... And a surprisingly difficult but sounding easy piece
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
10/10
