My bf is an American last time in Shanghai he was so interested about the “&” logo bakery as well coz the bag colour is very outstanding green but there was a long line to queue so we didn’t have it😢
Nice video! But wanted to comment that strong coffee =/= good coffee, and Vietnamese coffee, despite its fame, is known to be made with cheap robusta beans, but they make it so strong and use lots of condensed milk to mask the lack of quality and nuance. Most coffee connoisseurs would tell you that light to medium roast coffees are where you can actually taste the nuances and different notes in the coffee beans. Try visiting an independent coffee shop in China (instead of big commercial chains) to taste some hand poured specialty coffees. there are lots of those in china!
Oh trust me I know! I like me a single origin, complex, light to medium roast that’s pulled well. Which is why later in the video you can see my reaction to the coffee we got from the independent shop was much more enthusiastic! I guess what I was trying to get at is that I like my ratio of milk to coffee to be 1:1ish. Like a cortado. Otherwise too much milk masks the complexity of the bean. But can’t really expect much from Starbucks haha. The Vietnamese coffee is more of a guilty pleasure 😂👌🏻
I like Strong coffee too, most Starbucks in China do not have large tank of drip coffee for you to choose(dark roast or medium roast ).They can do hand brewed coffee though, but I prefer drip coffee. Usually I just order 6 shots iced americano full iced.
I've been watching a lot of travel videos about Chengdu, even though I actually grew up there, and my parents are still living there. I'm just glad i can finally go back to my usual yearly visit of the city again after COVID. But honestly I can't get enough of the city. I miss Chengdu every day when I'm in Australia. I'm now aiming to visit Chengdu every 6 months. Just need to work hard to get enough $$$ to satisfy my desire.😂😂
I'm a Swede. We generally enjoy our coffee black, dark roast and tasting a bit like tar (some add milk, but, everyone knows that's really not 'coffee') #ReallyGetsYourStomachGoing 😅
I believe it! I used to drink coffee like that all the time. But I know lots of folks that would gag if they tried to drink that. So yeah, it really comes down to personal preference haha 😅
@@kameilong Indeed! Nice video btw. Kudos to you both! I had a wish to get into the China-loop (learning chinese and moving to Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Ningbo or Hangzhou) over a decade ago, but "family and life" happened, so I'm still (stuck) here in the Nordics. 😁 Take care mate!
Tastes of every chain food and drink stores are different all over the world. Theyre never the same. Mc Donalds are different in every country. One will note this the more one travels.
Totally! The one thing I can say about McDonald’s though is their fries taste the same no matter where you are in the world. Which is not a bad thing haha 👌🏻
Chengdu did feel very hip. I loved it for that reason, on top of many others. I would love to travel to Hainan too though! Looks beautiful 😍 Are you from Hainan?
I'm a chengdu native, now living in the States. I'm thankful You made this video, great quality!❤
I’m glad you appreciated the video! Your home city of Chengdu is absolutely beautiful 🙏🏻
May you return to your hometown Don't stay in America. China is much better than America.
Peaceful, beautiful .
It is! Chengdu is as beautiful as people say it is!
Old town transfer into a tourist attraction. The farmers have extra income.
I think anything this old or ancient is bound to evolve into a tourist attraction!
We'll be visiting Chengdu soon. Thank you for making this day trip video in Chengdu.
Hope you have a fun trip! We were there for a short time, but it’s an absolutely beautiful city from what we saw.

Yeah it’s a really busy place! Luckily not too busy where we couldn’t get in. But I can imagine the Shanghai location is way busier haha
This is dope!
Thanks broski 🙌🏻
Found him here😂

Will definitely have to try it the next time I have a chance! What do you recommend?
@@kameilong Mcspicy Chicken burger!!! It's created in China. It tastes better than Zinger Burger at KFC imo.
