It's also same in india for the entrance tests. Infact we have certain dress code and we are not allowed to bring anything but ourselves ( a proof of citizenship/aadhar card and passport size photo that's it). Pen and definitely the paper will be provided by government. You are required to enter the exam center almost 2 hr prior for all the screenings and checkings. The gates of the exam center closes half and hour before the exam . Even if you are a minute late , you are not allowed as instructed the higher authority. And ofcourse the immense police protection which is relatable cause apart from entrance tests , certain secondary and high school exam questions first arrives in police station . It's the police that deliver the questions and deploy police for exams to be conducted smoothly.
In some places school and college teachers and lectures went too far during checkups. They got arrested later. Idk what they did but it was bad and has happened multiple times.

@@ericjiang7986 I know. As I am a Malaysian. The most important exam is the SPM. Yes, although we have stress from studying. Though, many people in East Asia and Singapore consider our studying environment less stressful.
I'm so sorry you had to go through all this. Although I didn't have it this bad, I have seen so many other people being pushed to brink like this, forced into so many things they didn't want, and later developing so many mental health issues due to high stress. Many parents nowadays just see their children as some trophy they could use to show off to other people like friends and family, which is why they pressure us to excel at almost anything. They neglect the fact that they are supposed to provide care and support for these individuals, and some parents barely even see them as human, just, as I said, trophies instead. Every human being has the right to live the way he or she wants to. No one deserves to go through all this pressure, let alone kids who are still developing. It makes them lose sense of life and to them, life isn't about enjoying things they want themselves, but to meet impossible expectations of others, and that creates a whole cycle of problems of disatisfaction in daily life, conflict with parents, burnout and stress, and in some extreme cases even guilt for disappointing their parents, even though it's completely the parent's fault. Parenting should be about caring for a child's well-being, not to mold the perfect trophy just to show off for their own pleasure. It's really saddening to see individuals go through this, and I sincerely hope you can find peace and comfort in your life, you definitely deserve it.
Tbf, I kinda get it as I imagine it's like NEET or JEE(these exams literally control you're future, fail them all the attempts and you will probably never get a job) but 7 years in jail is a bit too extreme. Instead they should give 2-5 years of suspension from the exam and all education

It's also same in india for the entrance tests.

Idk what they did but it was bad and has happened multiple times.

if you murdered 6 people in china, most likely you would face a dead penalty, so you won't be able to ask those question.. LOL
The best way of cheating was probably never heard of cause how good it was
Tbf, I kinda get it as I imagine it's like NEET or JEE(these exams literally control you're future, fail them all the attempts and you will probably never get a job) but 7 years in jail is a bit too extreme. Instead they should give 2-5 years of suspension from the exam and all education

If teachers would seriously teach their students those subjects, they won't need to cheat. From my experience, only students from elite class get the access to learn those topics in the test. Like, say it's physics. They would do lots and lots of practices with questions that are likely to show up in test, compared to us common classes that would only by taught by textbooks. Then suddenly when the test come into your face, you realize not even 30% of those exercises you've did on your textbook has any similarities or relevance to those test questions. That's just the cruel fact.
