Hi, i have a iphone 8+, the ambient light sensor is failure. Do i have to replace the new screen? Or just replace the ambient light sensor? Thx for your answers.

Hi if u dmg the original sensor flex but u use icopy to copy the original to aftermarkt and replace the sensor flex for another aftermark will u lose true tone even if u copy whit the programmer?
We can also so transmit the data from the original display screen to aftermarket screen via an IP Eeprom programmer. The truetone will be normal on the replaced screen. Details refer to our blog here:

Hi Honsum, if you don't have the original display, you can't read the data and fix the auto brightness not working issue.
But you can fix this issue through another way by upgrade your iOS system to iOS 12 BETA 2, more details here: www.etradesupply.com/blog/ios-12-fix-iphone-auto-brightness-issue/, also you can find many videos on UA-cam about how to upgrade the system to iOS 12 BETA 2.

Yes, the auto brightness in the iOS 12 is fixed but the true tone is still disabled.

You should reset everything after iOS update and try again. Go to settings >> General >> reset . erase all and reset. Don't forget to backup your important data and files.

We don't think so. The issue we fix on the video is the auto-brightness issue for iPhone 8/ 8 Plus aftermarket LCD screen, not work for any screen problems.
