supposedly, to calibrate iPhone brightness levels to my liking, I'm supposed to go into a dark room, turn-OFF Auto-brightness-then re-enable AB, and adjust the brightness level to my preference, while still in the dark room. THEN go outside in daylight and adjust brightness level to my liking again. At that point, 'adaptive brightness' is supposed to 'learn' my brightness level preferences-and, crucially for me, never dim below the brightness level that I set it to, while in that dark room. At first glance, the calibration seems to work ok, the iPhone retains my preferred brightness settings in different lighting situations. BUT after some random time later, I'll pick up the phone again (in a dimly lit room), and the display has gone dark AGAIN, dimmed down so much that I have to manually increase the brightness, over and over again and again. I'm always fighting with this damn phone to retain a brightness level that I can SEE properly. And it's not just the iPhone 14 Pro, my iPhone 11 behaves the same way. It's so incredibly annoying that I've turned off Auto-brightness altogether (again), because no matter how many times I try to 'calibrate' adaptive brightness, it simply does not work properly. If it did, I'd not have to constantly re-adjust it to a brighter level. I suspect the problem lies with iPhone's aggressive power management system, it is absolutely determined to dim the screen brightness as low as possible, which is a real pain in the a**, and causes eye-strain for me.
AND why the hell is Auto-brightness buried 3 menu levels deep, in Accessibility, of all places, makes not a lick of sense to me. Auto-brightness button should be located right up front, for easy access, in Settings->Display, not buried at the bottom of Accessibility features.
Hi man, I wanted to ask. Can we create a shortcut that scrolls on a specific app ? Let's say I need to scroll to the oldest post on Instagram but the user has like +1000 posts... Would love to hear anything related to that. Thanks & regards, M
There are lot of useful shortcuts, haven’t heard anything about this topic before, but quite interesting I guess. Thanks for your feedback
Does turning on auto brightness really save or drain the battery? There are 2 ways saying about it. Turning it on constantly autogenerate to adjust, etc Kindly advise and thank you!!!

This make it boring
Wtf is this iPhone
10 reasons are BS, there is only ONE REASON its overheating, and it cannot be fixed. So no matter what you do, if you tax your iPhone in hot weather and direct sunshine - it WILL DIM VERY FAST. External cooling can help
It dims because iphone sucks.
