LORD CAN YOU HEAR ME SPEAK?!?! I love the desperation in Pac’s voice when he shouts this. This gave Tupac his one and only UK number 1. RIP Mr Shakur

"It ain't about black or white cuz we human" that line alone is incredibly powerful and still jumps out at me now,ive been listening to this song since release and im still amazed at its wisdom, Tupac is someone everyone needs to listen and pay attention to, he was so wise and visionary, like a rap bob Marley

Tupac recorded the song in 1992 , the song was recorded for a Christmas album, but the song was later dropped due to 2Pac legal issues

2pac's brutal honesty and raw authenticity is on my opinion what differentiats him from other hip hop artists RIP PAC

Elton was sampled. His part is from the song“Indian Sunset” from his 1971 album “Madman Across the Water.” He is Em’s sponsor.

I like this version. I think it matches the beat.

The album was done posthumously. I'd recommend you listen to the OG version of the song as it has 2 extra verses. This one is slowed down. Doesn't sound right in my opinion

The OG version also sounds more hopeful

Eminem produced this song (he actually produced the whole album that this song is from -- with permission from Afeni). He also had to ask Elton for permission and he agreed. Eminem slowed down Pac's vocals -- which is why he sounds kinda weird -- in order to match and go with the beat.

Pac mom gave production to Eminem and Em had to make up with Elton John in order to get him on a song they became great friends after that...
