It is breathtaking to look at, all the engineers and amazing workers working together to build such a complex structure and move that massive thing across the long distances of water. Truly makes me realise and be in awe about how far the humanity has come over last 200 years and how many great things it has achieved in such a small period of time.

Worked on the GT (one & only gas turbine generator) a few times post offshore I found the Norwegians far better to work with than the Teeside Mafi who I then had the misfortune to work with in Russia offshore. One comment indicated Indians, never saw any of those folks.

Solar panels, are over rated and also need fossil fuel to mine and melt the aluminum, and the plastic covers over the panels, you guessed it. Oh, you say solar farms, way over rated and a bird killing machine, and again a lot of oil has to be burned to build them, I passed two of them recently in CA, both were not being used. I think people that know are betting billions on oil being around for a long time, we have enough in the US alone to last for another 300 years at the present rate of growth.
