I’m starting my journey as a solopreneur, still working a 9 to 5 while trying to get my business off the ground. I was not prepared for the amount of work I would have to do and the amount of stress associated with the level of risk I undertook. Depression NEEDS to be discussed more in the context of entrepreneurship. All entrepreneurs should support and learn from each other.

I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and award-winning spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my UA-cam channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙❤

This was so heartwarming. "Easy to describe at one level, and hard at another." Truth teller indeed. What made this video additionally powerful is adding Amy's perspective and emotional openness as well. There were a lot of wise messages in this short video. One that really stood out is the theme of connection. There is nothing to "fix." Time is on everyone's side in these circumstances. As a therapist, I really appreciate the transparency which hopefully inspires others to know they are not alone.

It was wonderful to hear you talk about those hour walks with your partner, in the middle of feeling off, gave you some joy and the sense of being ok. Walking for me does the same, especially in the company of a good friend.

I've been through something very similar. Thanks for sharing your story Brad. The stigma around this topic is slowly being chipped away at thanks to brave people like yourself. I can't wait to start your 7 week Techstars course. Also loved your book!
