    2. Take your medicine
    3. Get to bed before 11pm every night
    4. Meditation

That was so funny. Gary didn't believe it in the beginning. 'No it is NOT!' The conversation on bipolar disorder was useful for many I hope.

I lived this crazy depression with addiction lifestyle for 35yrs... My advice is be patience as hell with YOU like #garyvee talks about in every video..Success doesn’t happen overnight I have to rewrite my own life storyline. Take medications, meditate, exercise, journaling it’s not easy it’s a practice for yourself live another day...Being really honest to ask for help!!! Talking to anyone is the key for my successful recovery..
Thank you @garyvee this is what I needed to hear today...This really opened my mind that we really need to start talking about getting back to mental happiness.... Now this is amazing #askgaryvee ✌️👏

Great snip to put out on it's own. The awareness it provides it important. Plus, it's a conversation from 3 very influential people.

I love this. Not a lot of people talk about mental health in this fashion. Love how we got three different perspectives from one show. 👍🏻

Love a lot of what you do, Gary. I was especially surprised and thrilled when you started to mention compassion, empathy, and kindness. Those are my core values, including understanding. In this case, especially when talking about very sensitive subjects like mental illness, it's better to just listen, quietly.

Tim Ferriss calling in was so rad!
@Gary no idea if you'll see this, but you actually inspired me to start a skype podcast interviewing influencers/entrepreneurs/content creators!
I'd love to have you on (I know you don't like being an early guest so maybe #5, #15 or #25?)
In the process of booking guests, but just want to say thanks again for all the practical advice!

I’m 23 and It’s certainly a roller coaster...I used to go from manic genius creative to suicidal depressive but over the years as I’ve matured and learn more about how the illness works I’ve been able to disassociate my thoughts from reality and have habits to deal with both states which makes the lows and highs much more manageable without medication.
While I know some people would benefit from medications like lithium I don’t like the idea of being dependent on something especially with all the known long-term side effects.
**If you have bipolar and are reading this I urge you to look into lithium OROTATE instead of the normal carbonate or citrate as you need significantly less of a dose to get the same effect which reduces the toxicity in the kidneys, thyroid and rest of the body!
Thanks for bringing awareness to this topic!

Appreciate the comment by Ray "Insanity is at the brink of genius." My father had a stroke right around the same time I was born. His stroke affected an area in the bran that affected his emotional stability, among other things. As a result, he began behaving in a bipolar way and I ended up growing up with a father who in essence was bipolar. As a doctor in clinical psychology now and someone who works with high performers dedicated to living extraordinary lives in the service of humanity, I believe it is fundamental to shift our notion of what we consider "normal." Thank you Ray, Gary, and Tim for your insights and sharing.

Wow, such an important subject to discuss. 1 in 4 people experience/have ill mental health. I am wondering if there is scope in Vanyermedia for its employess to have that conversation if they need to? Great minds, having a great conversation. What a treat.

Don't know but I highly suppose that I might have it: from wanting to kill myself, being totally unsocial and just lying in bed for the entire day TO doing things I've never done before, such as going out and working on my social skills by talking to 15 people a day, starting stock trading, starting gold plating, having business and brand ideas, selling things on the internet.
Don't know man, it just sounds like me when people talk about it. Hopefully I'll find a way

I know what they are going through very, very well. I don't call it insanity tho... it's like a super fast Formula1 racing car needs more skills to control and perform at its best, contrary to normal cars. That's bipolarity.
