Love the pocket watch, old shoe buckles and coins. I am sorry bad metal detectorists did not clean up their holes. Beautiful trip to and from the island. Look forward to your next adventure!
Did he get the bullet out of the tree?? He found a nice two cent piece and Indian. Joe got those cool shoe buckles and that button which was awesome! And you got that cool pocket watch. Great video. 💖💯
Nick ended up leaving the large musket ball in the wood which looked so much better. I actually ended up removing a few extra minutes from that event due to the several attempts with no success.
That button looks like A(Union) Civil War Era Button, not the Era you guys are lookin for! I’m more towards Waterville, Oakland actually. I just saw your channel, or heard it actually, can tell those accents anywherah’!!! Trying to guess what island you guys were on? I don’t think you said where if yah did I missed it! Don’t worry I’m not out to snag your spots!!! Those were some cool finds, happy hunting guys!!!
Thank you for checking out our channel. I will look more into identifying the button. That place was hit many times before we got there and was surprised when Joe found it.
Fun stuff,
Great finds!
Nice finds…I’m a Hoover boy fan but now adding metal detecting 207
@Beanieweenieable thank you for the good vibes and comment. I enjoy the Hoover Boys and that is what got me started in this great hobby.
My old home was right there in Newcastle. On the Damariscotta River. Good striper fishing there too. Very shallow.

That was a great boat ride metal detecting adventure, Steve. The US button is sweet and I hope that it is period to the War of 1821.

Great hunt! Everyone got something old!! 😁
@@celiajellison6017 it was a perfect day for detecting. No bugs, t-shirt weather and the smell of the ocean.
I was part of a group hunt there several years ago. Found my first silver quarter there.
Any buttons? Or military stuff
Bet you found some good biting ticks too.

Very cool! What an adventure! That pocket watch is beautiful! Are you able to figure out when it was made?
