This reminds me of a superbowl party I hosted in college where I didn't have a long enough cable to connect my friend's laptop to both the tv and the sound system, so I decided to use my boss ps-6 harmonist pedal to connect 2 cables together. Then during a commercial break I set it to S-Bend mode and turned the fall time knob all the way up, and would randomly stomp the pedal to screw with peoples' voices.

Please, please do a video with the basic guitar pedal effects and singing (phaser, flanger, delay, reverb, tremolo, vibrato) This is the most amazing use of pedals in the whole internet. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Greetings from La Paz, Bolivia!!!🤘🎸
Those lyrics get me every time. So well written and emotionally driven. "Hey everybody, I want to know. I wanna know how many thing ya got. Cause I'm lookin for 'em to buy this other thing, That I'm tryin to buy. And if you've got stuff for it, Then I wanna hear about it. Oooooooo Oooooooo Oh my gaaaaahhhhh"
These are absolutely fantastic sounds!!! I wish this had been more instructional showing what you effects you are using and if there are any reasons why a microphone might not work. I've been told there is an "impedance" thing to think about when connecting a mic to effects. Either way, thank you so much for this - it's wonderful.
Hi, 2 of the most important stuff in my concern, are a compressor and a Eq, to increase or decrease the importants frequencys in your voice. Next you could add a reverb and a delay, maybe a chorus to create a more louder or specific ambient in some part of a song, idk, but that could be a simple mic rig
@@monotributistas3965 This, although if you're running into a guitar amp after the pedals you'll probably want an Impedance transformer, as most modern mics are Low-Z, (Apparently there was a transition in the 70's??) Most Amps and things designed for line are Hi-Z Higher voltage inputs. Essentially the Low-Z Mic will be closer to the Noise Floor and much quieter, so raising gain to compensate will also bring up noise. the impedance transformer attempts to remedy this issue. I'm not a music tech or electrician or anything im just kind of going off of what ive read up on. And i haven't experimented with it enough myself to say for sure one way or the other. so my information may not be entirely accurate and feel free to correct it. but hope this helps with a part of someones set-up.
just passing by..researching how/what to cable/connect a new dynamic/xlr Sennh clip-on inst mic to my Mooer Ocean pedal~~ AND thank you, Rob! You're the reason I signed up with Distrokid last year! : )
Hi, i have a a 15w acoustasonic amp, my idea is to mix the guitar pedals (Singing and playing the guitar at the same time with the effects), is this posible?, this, obviously using a phantom power adapter and others (xlr, 1/4), but what is left to invest? is there a pedal could mix things up? (no digital gear wanted). Thanks in advance
Just asked myself the same question about running a mic through my pedal board so I searched it and found this, this is a great video man I got a lot of laughs lol thank you!
Only watched because I saw the crate amps. I've got a GT212 and they aren't anywhere near as bad as the reputation they have... Especially since I paid $60 Canadian for a perfect example with footswitch.
4:33 laughs in organ
This is the most Rob video I’ve ever seen 😂
Yet only 158 other people seem to have seen it on 3 days!

I absolutely love this stuff. How would one make a simple mic pedal rig at home?
SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER THIS PLEASE!!!

ive been trying to do this and plug a microphone into my pedal board, tried with a mixer, too quiet, please someone share how???
2:14 I could do this
I COULD DO THAT
I was wondering why no one was talking about that 😂

I was in a 3 piece band on high school and I bought a reverb petal to hook up to my mic, and it really added another level to choruses
4:20 Rick Riffson went full start up screen lmfao
Seriously, a kazoo through some fuzz and delay sound awesome. Can we get a Scallon kazoo video? Maybe a cover song with kazoos? Distorted kazoos?
This sounds like im on drugs... strong drugs
I could imagine a bunch of guys on acid playing with this for hours and laughing their asses off.
Omg let’s meet up and do this
I'm on strong drugs. *You're wrong.*
Just because you are my friend
this is so inspirating omg thank yo
itd be soooooooo cool to do creepy horror movie vocals over a metal song using this
I am trying to use microcosm hologram mic 🎤 preamp as it has low sound direct to microphone plug to microcosm hologram
4:18 NO WAY HE ACTIVATED THAT BIBLICALLY ACCURATE PEDAL 💀
Lead singer Samuel from SubsOnicA was here first.

*1:35** "Show me what you got!"*
Damn that looks like a good time 🎉
Is it as simple as just plugging in a mice into your pedals?
Why is that a not listed video?
Can you just go right into the pedalboard with a xlr to 1/4 adapter? Or do you need a preamp first.. .
Rob's voice getting pitch shifted is his weakness, I remember them laughing their asses of during the recording with tape video.
That was very Aphex Twin there for a minute.
Why did I only just get the notification for this
DrumWild Oh maybe? Otherwise idk how people saw an unlisted video unless it was in a playlist
Patreon, for sure!
Can you post the list of pedals you used here please. I want to purchase a few.
could you list them, the most important to the least important?
That's a solid Dan Deacon impression
never not experiment it's always progression
Great sound, do you need a preamp between the mic and the effect?
really want to try this for vocals ngl 😭
link to where you bought from please ?
If I had this at home my wife would be so annoyed at me but I would be so entertained 😂😂
Reminds me of the egg from Eggs Guide to Minecraft
Anyone know what medals he’s using here ?
Rob went full poppy
4:41 If Mr. Krabs were part of Super Metal Records...
This is so good!
If this doesn't show up in next year's First of October, I will be sorely disappointed.
You too can be a vocal pipe organ...😂
Why isnt this video 4 hours long?😂
Oh and can I borrow this set up for uni? I want to sample myself for my compositions😂
This is so Rob :D
Wow you could get some pretty amazing death metal vocals from that
It WOULD have been a crime! 😂
Thanks for posting!
Someone please take the audio of this and run it over some super trippy video of a voyage through like the forest and and rivers and shit
This sounds like a fever dream
Awesome, cool and all, but can you just plug it in and it works just like that, or what, how do WE do IT???
i lol-ed for 5 minutes at 0:21 LMAO
Welcome to harsh noise wall, add two delays and two hits of acid. 🛁
Wich Kabel you use to connect a Mic zu the Pedal?
This is just Dan Deacon
Nice Crate Amps, bro!
Sweet Crate amp!
Anytime they laugh into it its the best
That looks gun!
You're a genius😂
That vocal effect really reminds me of early Sleep Party People material. Also check out CANN"D for your source of Pringlescore.
"I could be here all day Jake"😆
What do I need to connect a mic into a pedalboard? :OO
XLR to 1/4 inch cable 👍
Only watched because I saw the crate amps. I've got a GT212 and they aren't anywhere near as bad as the reputation they have... Especially since I paid $60 Canadian for a perfect example with footswitch.
Did you find your bucket?
How did convert between the hi-z and low-z signal? Is the microphone running through some preamp?
They make impedance converters with an XLR jack on one side and a 1/4” phone plug on the other.
