- In this episode we include two different floats on the Bow River, the first with Sean and his daughter and the second with Sean and Kieran. We got a few nice fish on this float, and it was a beautiful float in the kayaks!

Thank you too
Thanks so much for hooking up today. Cheers my friend - Lets Gidderr Done.
Any time! Thanks for the support, you guys are doing a lot for the community
I like a nice float on the river. Relaxing and got a few bites too.
Thanks, I really appreciate all of the comments
Good Fishing for sure 👍
Thank you
Floating the Bow River looks peaceful. The river runs pretty fast through there. You guys landed some nice looking trout. Congrats on your first Brown! Kieran with a beauty as well.
It is such a great float
I love when weeds turn into fish. Congrats on your first brown!
Thanks 👍
Incredible day out there!
Thanks Amanda, it was a lot of fun
A little tip when trying to net keep the fish down in the water if you are lifting it to splash around out of the water it’s easier for them to throw the lure before you can net them. Great jobs guys you’ve done well
Thanks for the tip, we should have had the nets extended as well. The handles extend another two feet and that would have helped tremendously. Thanks for the comment
Almost hooked her ear in the bloopers, congratulations 🎊 on the new species
Thank you, yes that was too close
Loved It. Congrats on your first brown. You guys got some great looking Rainbow Trout. They're such pretty fish. The water looked to be flowing quite fast. Interesting tactics about floating backwards. Kieran's record breaker... 😄
Thanks 👍yep, hard to beleive that small trout hit that big lure
Well done both of you, and in getting those browns. The river looked great. The best bit for me was that you worked out presenting the spinners up stream rather than down. I always fished the same way and had better results. The spinner fished deeper. But I was not in a boat. Well done both of you. What a great drift. Shaun.
Thanks Shaun, we are starting to figure that river out, it has taken us awhile
Well done one the new species Sean they sure are a beautiful species the brown trout
Looks like you guys had a blast out there travelling down river in the yaks catching some nice trout 👍🏼
The Browns have a habit of escaping me as well, I have had way more luck with the brown trout after switching to single hooks 👍🏼
That was a beautiful big brown that first fish Kieran caught
So much fun, lookng forward to getting out there again
Cool video, looks very relaxing with some beautiful scenery and fish!
It really is, thanks
Well.....a very cool ep! Catching some Trout! 2nd day was way nicer with the water. Brownies are so pretty. Love them 👍😀
Yep, we are finally starting to figure the river out a bit
Some great looking fish my friends
Thanks 👍
Definitely a good amount of current in the Bow river. Your first Brown Trout, nice ! Good floats !
Thanks 👍
Классная рыбалка 👍👍👍
Спасибі
That underwater shot of how fast you were cruising was pretty neat. Nice trout.
That outtake….yikes!!!!
I know, almost pierced her ear
Congratulations on your first brown Sean good job guys thanks for sharing this awesome video 👍 tight line 🎣 blessings 🙏⚓️
You bet Gary, thanks very much. Appreciate it
A big river and very potential for fishing
Indeed!
Those Browns sure are beautiful fish. Thats a proper river there, lots of current!
For sure, makes the fights even stronger
Nice rainbows and browns. Congrats on some good catches.
Thanks 👍
Love your videos, but this was a fun one for me. Been watching other UA-camrs fish the bow for over a year, so its become a destination I hope to fish one day. Looked like a relaxing float, glad you went back a week later!
Thanks, we really appreciate that
Beauty❤
Thanks
Nice kayaks and great fish... those browns are awesome.. pretty rainbow too
Thanks Judy, appreciate the comment.
That's awsome, I wish our river system had some bows. Great catches guy's
Thanks
Awesome video, congrats on getting your first brown trout!
Thank you so much
Wow...very nice fishing my brother😊
Many many thanks
Great River float. Nothing like moving water!! Great browns and rainbows. Looked like an enjoyable two trips.
So much fun!
Nice Sean! Nice fish and great video! Thought fighting and landing when that water is moving like that!
Definitely, makes it pretty fun too
My kind of fishing!
Thanks
Awesome video and congratulations on your first brown!
Thank you so much 😀
Bow River Float! Nice!
Thanks
Alright alright alright. I've gotta do a float with my dad next year. You caught some nice trout. The brown is one I've always wanted to catch. This was a great video sean. I love the "weeds!", oh no it's a fish!!! That's amazing. Thanks for sharing. Also, AMAZING trout handling. Great video for sure.
Happy to float along side you some time, it is a lot of fun
@@AnglingSpiders Yeah it would be amazing.
The river looked amazing nice browns & rainbow smart thinking on floating backwards to fish along with the current
Thanks
nice float! the reason you're getting more (or all) fish casting upstream is trout orient the way in the river and eat food drifting down towards em. As for losing fish you might have better luck swapping those treble hooks for singles. You'll probably have less hook ups but the hooks you do set will be much sturdier with the added benefit of snagging you net less. Anyway great video and tight lines!
Thanks for the tips, I did have one lure on that float with a single hook, but unfortunately didn't hook up. Appreciate the comment
Great idea to fish the rivers , wish we had wild rainbows in Scotland .
They are a fantastic fish to catch
@@AnglingSpiders I agree
Good job. Good content
Thanks
wow really awesome and great fishing videos man.. keep it up
Thank you so much
Some great trout there and beautiful views. I agree it's an absolute heartbreaker when you lose something you know is good
We will get it next time!
Congrats on your first brown and some beautiful rainbows!
That current was crazy fast! Amazing how quick it’s moving and you’re still able to land them.
Beautiful scenery and great float guys!👏
Thanks Joe, appreciate it
Great video guys! I've never fished for trout on the Bow but it's definitely on the bucket list. Too bad that big one got off.
Thanks, we will get it next time!
Nice ! Just found your channel. So awesome. I just did this float last year. There is a lot of fish in the Bow River on that section.
Thanks and welcome. Yes there are definitely some nice fish stacked in that section
Beautiful trout in this one! Congratulations on the new species and new PB between you two! It was crazy that one got off right infront of you and just missed the net. It was so close.
Yep, I should have had the next extended
I've only fly fished the bow, you did a fabulous job catching fish, netting and videoing in a kayak on a fast river. also a float trip requires organizing vehicle management and planning thank you for taking us along and the memories CYU guys
Thanks, really appreciate it
@@AnglingSpiders UBET Sean
Love fishen the bow!! Ever try the elbow? Iv cought some big browns in the elbow from the dam to the bow.....
We haven't, might be worth a shot some time
We recently started to watch your videos. Very nicely done, thank you. It would be helpful to put your spoons/lures in your description. I know for example Thompson are on Amazon.. Thank you
Great suggestion! Many of them are not on Amazon, but we can still share the info
Congrats on a new species! Love seeing you guys going after different stuff. River floats are probably the most fun, how do you deal with the logistics of going back? 😂
We have someone pick us up at the end
@@AnglingSpiders I wish I had that option. I always have to paddle upstream or back upstream lol
Man I love yall use ugly sticks
We love those rods!
Im looking to drive to Calgary to fish in the bow river. Im 2 hours away in Lethbridge. Good fishing right in Calgary? Thanks for sharing! Im yet to catch my 1st ever brown too. Conrats! 👍🏻
It can be tough fishing the Bow River from shore. I have a lot more luck in my kayak
@@AnglingSpiders Thats what Im hearing 😞
My goal half the time is to catch more than I lose, and I’d love to tell you it’s going well but… 🤣
Lol
Great video guys! Was just curious though as to why I never see you using baitcasters?
I do have one, and we use it in one video (Check Episode 80). To be honest, too many bird nests and the spinning gear works great
nice video man! love your chanel! l upload fishing videos in my chanel too!
Thanks
