- Hopper Fishing Baby!! One of my favorite times of year is when the meat missiles are looking up for those jumpers. Started the day with luck nymphing, and once it heated up you could just hear the grasshoppers. Great day, +24 and appro 8hr float with stops. Police --- MaK

Hi Torin, do you fish while drifting or do you drift then stop and fish, drift further stop again to fish, etc.? Long time subscriber, really enjoy the videos, only wish they were more PG so I could watch with my son ;)
Hey Man, little of both actually. It's awesome to fish while drifting when putting hoppers near the banks. Then pulling over to nymph a deeper run. Best of both world. Appreciate the feedback, haha tough when I just get so passionate :p I take more care in the post editing.

Idk if you have done a video on what you look for when fishing the bow but that'd helpful. I never know if I am in a good spot or not

Thanks man! I bring an anchor to the lakes, but in the river I can kick paddle to the shore to land, or just float land.

I’m 15 and I’ve tried to fish the bow so many times now I just can’t figure out what to do I never have any luck. Nice videos though, they give me hope to maybe catch something

Nice video! Enjoy the release and fight footage... I always want to see the eat! Mostly because I usually miss it on my own line. And count me as another vote to keep it PG... can’t always take my boys fishing yet, but they hear enough f-bombs from their mom!

Your tip on adding a swivel to a nymph rig has been a game changer. I have always used a san juan to get a few in the net, but found that they twist the tippet.
P.S. My last Bow River float was short (3hours) but still got 12 in the net, while trading rowing/casting with my buddy

Rob Merkley thanks man! The boat itself is mint. Little pricey but the owner and company are solid. Drift boats are #1 but personal float tubes are so deadly on the bow.
@Cruisy Lines Interesting i may have to look into that as i am looking for one as the watermasters are priced to high but well built with 30 oz 1000 denier pvc and have life time warranty , if the other one has this i am sold...lol
