If you plant some plants on either side of the door the roots will prevent the soil from washing away…roots are a great helf to prevent erosion…it holds the soil together…maybe a add some fancy sones as an edging around it…love waTching the little one, she always tries to help it’s so cute to watch…

Mulch perfect color to bricks...your little girls and moon pie are absolutely precious and add so much to your posts...thanks to God you are doing better.. Still praying for you..prayers are still being answered!!!!!

Suggestion at the end where your ending the railroad ties put another small one on the top to help prevent the mulch from washing out you could double up the rest if you want too. It may help keep the mulch in

Frozen teether rings and Popsicles will help baby girl with teething..if too cold for her run them under cold water 💧 to soften

You know Courtney, having a couple of hours to yourself is good, I know being a mom is a full time job, but even mom's need breaks from the kids, and especially kids teething, Bless her heart 😢 I hate it that big sissy is in so much pain, but man was she still trying to work. I LMBO when she got that drink and sat down on that bag of whatever it's called better than mulch stuff, it was like " I need a drink and I'm going to sit down and rest for a minute " but I never saw her take a drink of it 😂😂😂😂

Put a brick wall up to block the rain . Put mulch down and plant 3 green and white hostas in each side of the slab . And add some kind of lighting on each side . And some kind of black wall hanging flower puts or decor

My daddy used to say "even an old barn looks better with a coat of paint" ❤ great job, the black paint makes a huge difference! Just a thought, but I would build about 2-3 ft tall flower box on either side of the door that would hold back the water as well as let you dress it up! I also loved the black mulch but I think I'm liking the tan stuff better! Beautiful home you guys, you should be so proud. I'm working on my basement apartment on my channel but I'm looking forward to a nice home to work on like yours someday, Lord willing. Love watching DIY channels!

Two days is great, Courtney! Very proud of you! So glad you're feeling better. Moon Pie is too cute- she knows how good she's got it. I never saw that type mulch- hope it stays put for you. We did almost the exact same thing for our trash cans at our other house and it worked out great. The white stones really set off the plants. All your hard work looks very nice. Suggestion spray the weeds and then add the weed fabric before you put the other layer of rock on the walk way it will keep the weeds out for sure. You have a beautiful exterior and the day lollies will be so pretty

1:59 Great Job! Girl, I get it. I’ve slept with a certain type blanket for my entire life until a few years ago. It was my security blanket. It traveled with me anywhere I went like vacation. I couldn’t go to sleep without it. I rubbed it under my fingernails and my fingernails would hurt so bad, but it didn’t stop me. ❤ you can beat this Courtney!

@@HomeSweepHome I wanted to say.. I’m 48 years old. So if I can quit, and I smoked for 32 years and quit that as well. I smoked as a stress reliever as well. It’s been a year and a half on cigarettes, and 2 years on the blanket. It’s crazy to think about. I catch myself trying to use the end of the pillow case opening to run under my fingernails, or the bottom of my shirt (which is what I used when I was away from home.)
All I can say is it was all Jesus cause there was no way I could do it alone. I know you can overcome this! Look at all you’ve been through and you made it out on the other side. So you can do the same with this! 🫶🏻🌻 🙏🏼

Good job on the nails! I was a nail biter and know how hard that is. Moonpie is hilarious! My older one makes my hubby jealous, he gives me kisses when he wants treats, he just begs daddy haha! 😂 Both cats hang out in the windows howling while we're outside. Cats are fun! I hate y'all had to redo all that but it turned out really pretty! The little palms or any shrubs would help dress up the pig with makeup 😂 Yard work is very therapeutic mentally and physically, I need to remind myself of that while I'm out this week repairing my destroyed yard. You got a lot accomplished in the yard, I know it was a long day, but it has to be really satisfying to stand back and see how lovely it looks 😁. I have a lot of solar lights in my yard, and I have those light caps all along my fence posts.

Another idea make a half wall for your trash cans in L shape maybe . my don did that it hides the cans and it helps with storms from tipping over
