On the south site things are looking quiet and the grass is changing color to a lovely golden color. It has been a hot day today and you can really see it in the landscape colors.
On the north side however things are puzzling.
We have a surveyor with their theodolite taking measurments for something and rather curioursly they have a rib on the back of their pickup truck. Could this be for this site or are they simply towing it from a job they had previously in the day?

The company for the boat is 'Landscope' they do surveying, including underwater - which probably explains the boat. They likely need to figure out the depth of the water around the site.
Topographical survey taking place here. Basically, it is a map of the site with associated levels. Boat will be obtaining river bed levels and cross sections.
Hoping this does go ahead. Competition between the parks will sky rocket and the consumer will be the winner!

Has the 'H' helicopter landing pad @ 14:27 been spotted before ?
Yes we've spotted it before. Not sure it's a landing pad but it's been there many years.
If they are taking multiple measurements of the land, that's for the civil engineers to start development/pricing of the materials, surely they would only do that if they were proceeding with the construction. Or at least got the green light, that's very good news.

I saw another person comment on this, but Landscope focuses on Land surveying. The person with the long bar was doing a non-intrusive geophysical survey to see if there are any manmade structures, or other structures underground. The tripod looking thing near the white car is a generic land surveyor, to look at the topography of the land. That boat will likely be to examine that lake

When the time is right, you should make a time lapse video of the construction process.
Might be tricky with limited flight time on the drone. I could maybe do one from the ground if I find a good spot. Depends where the action is.

@@mumboinc If they're still surveying the area then Universal is still committed to see if the area is still feasible to build a full blown theme park, That kinda bodes well. They probably know a lot but I'm guessing they want to make sure before making the final decision to go ahead.

What drone do you use?
DJI Air 2s is my favourite and the one I use mostly. I also have a mini 4 pro when there is people close by.
