- In the first video with no drone we take a walk across the Unversal Studios land following the public footpath from the a421 layby to the top of manor road.
Join me for this hour long video on a glorious hot day to explore the land Universal will hopefully build a world class theme park resort on.
If you make it too the end, well done :)

Hope it goes ahead cheers 4 sharing check out theme park worldwide on it
When the project gets green lit i can tell this footpath is going to be excavated
A lot of it is not their land, it belongs to the farmer.
@ProjectUniversalUK hmmm interesting I wonder if that's going to change when universal starts building
I mean the part upto the stream is not Universals.
i would think the first thing they do is to get permission to move the public footpath
Yes, the part that goes across their land but the first couple hundred meters it not in their land.
This is like watching a more relaxing episode of Treasure Hunt with Anneka Rice back in the 80s #showingmyage. Probably wise not to wear your aqua blue nylon jump suit in that hot weather though. Keep up the good work for those who can't visit, yet.
Challenge Anneka was a great show back in the day. Not so much when they tried to reboot it a few years ago though.
It’s kind of funny, I grew up in the mid-west of the United States, and this makes me feel a little homesick for farm country and open spaces. I spent a lot of pleasant hours driving a tractor over fields like this.
I live in the countryside and love it but these fields are no great loss and the amount of good they will bring in far outweighs the loss of a few poor quality fields.
@@ProjectUniversalUK Yes, I think you’re right. I was just feeling a bit nostalgic. I lived in Southampton for a few years after university, so I also feel some connection with the UK as well. I’d love to get back over for a visit.
Absolutely love this video. Ones of the best. Can't wait for your next one.
Interesting you mention the skips and the trucks places that you remember as a child... and next to that is the Cemex plant that reminds me of my childhood! I was born and raised in San Pedro Garza Garcia (MTY) Mexico, where Cemex is based and still has their head office. Great video, one of these days I must drive over to Bedford and do this walk, I don't live that far these days and can't wait to see if Universal goes ahead.
Thanks for the comment, I don't think the public track will be around for much longer as it will soon be consumed by the park if it goes ahead but it's a nice walk if you can do it, preferably on a nice day.
Amazing video. 👍👍🙂
Just be careful, because there's still freight trains on a Sunday, and they're often quicker than the regular service ones.
Always careful
Loving your updates.. 😂
Thank you 😀
