So many of their songs have irresistable hooks that really catch the ears of people, who then become instant fans. It's almost as if Dany, Pau, and Ale are sailing on a fishing trawler, casting out lines and the new fans are like fish that happily take the bait and gladly get hooked for life.

I got a ticket on my hands last year for their concert in Monterrey and I gave it awat!!! Shame on me!! My daugther found them and make me buy 2 tickets but since I did have idea who they are, I missed the concert. I was totally focused on rock of the 80s for those great bands but as soon I realized who they are (june 2024), i cannot take them out of my head. They are incredible. I got now 2 tickets for the Feb22 concert this 2025 in Monterrey, MX and I won´t miss it this time!!!

The number of phones out , given it's the opening song, leads me to believe they're using the flashlight app. Sort of like we used to do with Bic lighters back when I was young and going to concerts. I think I prefer the lighter, but then, nobody ever set fire to a venue with their I-Phone.

Hey Jaron, I literally just finished watching their entire PolandRock concert about 10 minutes ago, since it was finally released only a few days ago.
I mention this because I didn't see a single cell phone in anyone's hand in that crowd of 80,000.
If you're wanting to see less cell phones and more people getting into the music, I recommend you check out any song from that concert.
The lighting and camera work are also insanely good. Again it's called PolandRock (or something like that).

@@jarongeil-vocalcovers2484 "The Warning LIVE Pol'and'Rock Festival 2024 (FULL CONCERT)". Be aware that the owner of the video is pretty aggressive about copyright and taking down reactions. Someone suggested it's because the proceeds go to charity. Maybe? But also, Europe treats copyright pretty tightly. In any case, treat yourself to a listen -- it's an amazing concert and the crowds response at the end nearly overwhelmed the band.

The song "Disciple" explores the dynamics of social media manipulation and the cyclical relationship between those who wield power through ignorance and those who fall victim to it. In the first verse, guitarist Dany represents the manipulative forces cultivating hate and distraction for control and profit, while the second verse shifts to drummer Pau embodying the manipulated disciple, trapped in the system and unwittingly perpetuating its narrative.
The chorus intensifies this tension by portraying a direct clash between rebellion and control-Dany's call to "kill the system" symbolizes a revolutionary voice fighting against oppression, while Pau's command to "remain inside your space" represents the system's effort to enforce ignorance and compliance.
The bridge adds a haunting reflection on human nature, with lines like "Hate will always be a good friend when the sun goes down" suggesting how darkness-both literal and metaphorical-reveals hidden truths and fuels negativity. The song challenges listeners to question whether they are the same person "when the light is on" versus "when the light is off," encouraging introspection on truth, manipulation, and identity.
Overall, "Disciple" offers a powerful critique of modern systems of control, shining a light on the struggle to confront uncomfortable truths and break free from cycles of ignorance and hate.

Social media is literally the reason that the girls have become famous and have been making music for 11 years now. So when fans get out their phones and film, you can be sure that 90% of the crowd have seen The Warning live several times in the 11 years and the girls on stage don't mind at all, and as you can hear the fans are going crazy.

    • @TomTomson81
      @TomTomson81 20 днів тому

@NM-tr6kq In the video, it was not their talent that was criticized, but the fans. That's why I'll only go into that. There is no question that the girls did not dance on the pole for 11 years to stand where they are today. I haven't seen so much talent and work for a long time.

This was the first song in a 23 - set concert at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City in front of 8000 fans. Everywhere they play this band will generate mass phone recordings of their music. You might call it ridiculous but most doing the recordings are for nostalgic reasons I would assume.

I won’t comment on the songs’s meaning because no way could I add to Thontor’s explanation. But as for singing, they trade off in a number of songs. There’s one called Sinister Smiles from their concept album about a woman’s descent into madness, where Dany takes the evil side and Pau takes the good side. Pretty epic writing for teenagers (it’s from a couple years ago). I can’t explain all the phones other than it was the first song of the concert. I don’t think it stayed at that level. Thanks for the reaction, these sisters never miss, I don’t know how they do it.

    You’re commenting on a different culture’s crowd…just saying.
Also, a lot of fans do post fancam videos from all their shows regardless if it’s being professionally recorded or not.
You can usually find a fans video of practically any show they play throughout the world if you’re interested and that’s a great thing.
Only 8,000 people got to see this live in person but many, many more people watched this very show in real time via IG, Facebook or other sites via livestreams and then we get the ability to reminisce a year later with the pro recording.
