my favorite song? i have a 60-way tie for that which may also include some of their covers 😹 at any random point, though, the last one i heard is playing on loop in my mind until the next one comes on 😜 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
_Ugh_ is named as such because the song was a challenge for the girls to write and record. They kept saying "ugh" when working on the song it stuck. Their dad pushed them to finish the song. Main riffs have a thrashy sound like Metallica and Iron Maiden.
This is the best live band currently touring IMO. They are simply fantastic. You have to do more of these 3 sisters. I will be here every time. Try "Disciple" live at the Pepsi Center CDMX For me it is their signature song. They have a deep catalogue of fantastic songs, not mediocre songs, fantastic songs. Trust me after 3 or 4 songs you will love them like a proud uncle.
@@petahpunk that sentiment has been iterated many times for years in Lives all over UA-cam about La Maestra er, I mean Pau 🎯⚡⚡⚡ It's a fun fact! 🤘😜👍 Pau plays drums like Pau (POW!) She slays Animal in videos She gets compared to Keith freaking Moon 🌙 from videos taken when she was 15. I'm sure if he can watch, he approves. And she hasn't even peaked yet. What will she do next? is my favorite puzzle. I LOVE THIS BAND !! ✌️💖🎼🎶
It's fun seeing how she went from playing like Animal (the Muppet), completely wild style, when she was younger to now having a more graceful almost sassy style
Neil Peart went to take lessons from a jazz guy later in his life and learned it’s not what beats you play but HOW you get to said beats. The space between hits is just as important. Pau seems to instinctively know this. My favorite drummer to come out in years.
In an interview Pau talks about Ale having better time and complaining about them not being in the pocket so Pau spent weeks staring at Ale's fingers to adjust her time to fit with the bass. I'm a bassist who plays with my daughter, and it would be really strange to have her adjust to me :)
✌ I saw in an interview Paulina said , her drum teacher made listening to the Rush catalog homework and she hopes to be as good as. Neil one day. When listening now I hear it, but seemingly like w all there influences they understand what other artists are doing and incorporate bits into there work. Not trying to do the same thing(except for some covers)but advancing music out of respect for others. Tedx Talks 2016,2017 are mandatory history of TW. 2017 performance absolutely made me a fan for LIFE !!! (complete w breaking drumstick) Thank You ⚡ ⚡ ⚡
I've heard this a few times. This is the first time I noticed Ale's bass strokes are directly in sync with Dany's singing. The bass supports and strongly enhances the singing and melody. Excellent.
I recently heard music by The Warning for the first time, and I'm beyond impressed. I learned of the band by reading in a drummer article that Neil Peart of Rush fame was a big influence for Paulina Villarreal, which I can definitely hear in her drummer style. Well done.
This song is from "Queen of the Murder Scene," a concept album released in 2018 when Ale was 13, Pau was 16, and Dany was 18. The album tells the story of a young woman’s descent into obsession, murder, and madness, exploring her internal struggle between light and darkness. "Ugh," the third track on the album and part of chapter 1, captures the protagonist’s growing frustration and helplessness as her unreciprocated love becomes overwhelming. She feels trapped by the intensity of her emotions, unable to suppress them, and the song reflects the internal tension building as she struggles to control her feelings. According to their vlogs, the band had difficulty finalizing "Ugh." They experimented with different structures and melodies, but none felt right until they stripped it back to its simplest form. The title itself was inspired by their frustration during the writing process. Despite the challenges, the final version of "Ugh" captures the chaotic energy they were aiming for and became a key moment in the protagonist's journey.
Don't forget their attempt to write Ugh generated two other songs for the album. They were going to give up, but their dad urged them to continue. It was so difficult for them, that every time they worked on it they would say "Ugh!"
Pau is a beast on the drums. One of the best is “Amour” live at the Pepsi center 2023. Really though this entire concert is Gold. All 23 songs. Incredible.
Ever thought of contacting Pau for an interview? I have not seen any interviews of her speaking about how she composes the drum parts or her live playing.
There's an interview of Pau in the modern drummer podcast were she explain in detail all about the way they compose and play as a group, very good interview
@@luisrene2633 It is not very technical and contains mainly stuff that fans already know. I am speaking of an interview where Andrew could really go more technical.
Well they're very much like Rush and Scorpions in that they're live performance varies little from the recorded version, that's why they're able to do live what they do in the studio with very minimal backing tracks
Your reaction to their live video for "Dust to Dust" ,from 2020 at the Whiskey A Go Go, is what got me into the band. Been a huge fan ever since. I believe it was the first time you were hearing them. Great reaction videos sir. Keep doing what you're doing!
I love this band! This is a terrific concert to watch through. A note, in case nobody else has said it: this song was on their album Queen of the Murder Scene, which they released in 2028 when they were 18, 16, and 13. They are gown up, and have continued to mature as performers and musicians, but they've been a great band for a long time. There's also a great story behind that guitar Dany is playing.
Awesome reaction! Amour live from The Pepsi Center has Pau going ham on her drums. It's almost like multiple drum solos going into the pre-chorus. 😅 ❤️⚡🤘
When you contrast that with 23, which is Dany's time to go heavy on guitar because Pau is doing 100% of lead vocals it actually becomes mind boggling how these women can be so talented.
@@AndrewRooneyDrumsthe Pepsi center concert is next level. Check out some of the songs from that concert. It was their 10th year anniversary concert 2023 at the Pepsi center in Mexico city.
IMHO, the best recorded performance of Ugh anywhere. They were on 🔥🔥🔥. It’s an absolutely incredible song and they take it up a whole new level of perfection all around, in every way. Just amazing. I love Ann and Nancy Wilson. Grew up listening to them and that performance at the Kennedy Center in front of Led Zeppelin is a MUST WATCH. Those seasoned rockers were moved to tears watching Heart perform their music so beautifully.
And if you ever wonder how much respect these ladies have in the industry? That guitar that Dani is playing is a Lzzy Hale signature that Lzzy had made especially for her and gifted it to her on stage. She's also got a guitar gifted to her by Matt Bellamy from Muse.
Paulina(Pau) was assigned as homework by her drum teacher to listen to Rush's entire discography when she was first learning. She still to this day names Neil Peart as her favorite/influential drummer and recently, after winning the Drumeo rock drummer of the year award she was able to play one of Neil's drum sets. She is the main lyricist of the group and starts most of the songs out on piano. This song was was written when they were about 17 15 and 12. Ale's influence was Paul McCartney and Dany's was Brian May.
The first time I listened to this song and heard the bridge between the verse and the pre-chorus, it reminded me of the band Rush. The only part that reminds me of Iron Maiden is the lead guitar at the end.
From the first time I saw them at the mtv awards live and evolve in 2023: it blew me away instantly fell in love with them the whole set of this performance is magical i hope you check out all this show and
When I first discovered The Warning I heard Dust to Dust, then Choke Then UGH. I just assumed they were lip syncing as no one could do those moves, play those instruments while singing those lyrics. On re-listening I realized I could here the occasional breathing sounds! I was hooked. Ugh is a hard hitting, overwhelming music assault. I love it and I have been hooked on The Warning ever since. See them live at a concert and you will be to. Yet another great reaction Andrew
Hi Andrew, I feel like a kid getting present after present With The Warning. We, everyone are so lucky they are who they are. The Iron Maiden thing is the riff itself, thanks again to musical brilliance of The Villarreal Sisters. Cheers
Thank you Andrew for doing The Warning!!! You know how much I love tool and I still do but it's already in the bag the warning is going to be my next tool if that makes sense I know it does to you. Thank you man for all you've ever done for me just commenting on some of my videos and watching my progress means a lot and I love what you do man you're a great guy thank you!!!!!
That's what I love about a good three piece. They do use backing tracks but it's still them. The thing about a good 3 piece is that there is no place to hide and everyone gets heard. As a bass head I love a good pronounced bass line. But it's great to be able to hear everyone. And that where a great 3 piece shines.
I've been following them on Facebook for a while now. I am in love with the bassist. Isn't it shocking how good these ladies sound? Such beautiful ladies and so talented.
I think they do have some subtle backing playing too on some songs, but these girls seriously rock and those drums, bass, guitar and vox are all very live!!
It is impossible to pick a favorite song. However, I can definite say the my favorite 3 song sequence at a live concert is Black Holes, Breathe, and Enter Sandman. I include Enter Sandman because there is something special about seeing Pau back on the drums after Breathe like nothing happened. And the added strings on Enter Sandman are special too. Just thinking and writing about this performance gets me very emotional. 😂😂❤
Hi from Sheffield yorkshire england i have been a metal fan for 4 decades now n heard seen all the legends from queen to maiden n priest i haven't been as exited for a band as i have for a band for years
Excellent reaction! Pau actually controls the backing tracks with her feet. Left pedal for start and right pedal for stop. She has the laptop beside her. I think she controls something else too, because on a "Pau cam" video I saw her hit three things with her right foot at the end of the show. I have no idea how she does all that + singing & drumming.
So many try to find similarities between TWB and any number of other bands. Heart, you mentioned, because of sister harmonies. Rush, my faves from the 1980s, three piece. Muse, with Matt on guitar and singing (but not really three piece as there was usually a fourth). Triumph, ZZ, etc.etc. But for me TWB is it's own animal. No band has captured me like this since, well, Rush. And we see their influence all over the world! Viva TWB!
Best wishes for you and your loved ones for 2025 Andrew♥. Would not be surprised if you pass 200K subs next year. Next year already two ticks for The Warning gigs. Long live females in rock like Neyla (thans for giving them attention this early in their journey). A few names of new female rock bands or female dominated bands to bring under your attention: Die Spitz (song: Hair of dog), Yee Loi (song: Be like Johnny), KOIAI (song: A new picture). Can't wait till Yoyoka, Nandi Bushell, Ellen Alaverdyan will have their own touring bands. Off course this also goes for the young lads like Caleb H!
You might want to check out Freeze the Fall, a young band still in high school. They have one EP out and are working on their second one. Fantastic band.
This song is from their album Queen of the Murder Scene that was released in 2018, so their ages were Dany 18, Pau 16 and Ale 13. Teenagers wrote and performed this song.
They do use tracks. They are quite minimal. A synth line, an occasional extra vocal layer. But the girls are most definitely playing and singing live. 3 fantastic vocalists. The vocals get me every time. 2 and 3 part harmonies. They most definitely have gotten even better than this. This performance is a few years old now. They are going to be huge. They have everything they need to be to put rock back into its rightful place in mainstream music. They are also true "influencers" I have seen a lot of videos of young girls doing covers of this band.
'98? What band are you referring to? The Warning - oldest Daniella (Dany) was born in 2000! Paulina is the drummer was born in 2002. Alejandra bass guitar born in 2004.
Thank you, love The Warning, also love your “Lead Singer “ impression. The whole reason I broke down and learned to sing lead as a bassists was I was so tired of dealing with the part time band mates called the lead vocalist and their alter ego’s I referred to as “That A- h**e” that had to be the center of attention at all times.
Andrew they released a drum cam of Kai Hahto w/ Nightwish playing Ghost Love Score.. I seriously think Kai is one of the most underrated drummers out there right now. He is a beast. Be cool to see what you think
My favourite song of their entire catalog, so far. If you have a chance, watch the performance of this song from the Rebel Lounge, only cell phone quality, but so close up in a tiny place and they just kill it.
Actually they use backing tracks and they don't hide from it, they've talked about it. but it's Rhythm stuff to give it a bigger sound. Which most bands do anymore especially if they're a smaller 3-4 piece and if they're playing bigger rooms/arena's stadiums etc.
The Warning have always used some tracks for things they can't play live, on stage. On rare occasions, these are from contributing musicians (such as Alessia Cara on *Enter Sandman,* their collaborative remake with her). Most of the time, they played them, themselves, as album tracks. They use the recorded tracks during live shows the same way.
How has no one got you to do anything from the Pepsi Center!? I was a drummer as a kid, not anymore unfortunately but I would love to take it back up again, also I'd love to see you do Dust to Dust/Dull Knives (cut better) by these talented ladies. It's probably one of the most viewed from their performance back in October 2023. I promise you'll love it. 😊
@@AndrewRooneyDrums this one is bigger and better trust me 😉 the transition into Dull Knives is so perfect you'll go to pause it then realise hold on, it's still going 😁
@@AndrewRooneyDrums Aaah I see the one you did, yep they were still all teens then, this one at the Pepsi Center last year really shows the progress they have made and and who they are now. Also Dull Knives is a song you haven't heard and that transitions in after D2T (it's a double). It's a great ride and makes you feel like you were there. Best production you'll see from a band in this modern age.
No stopping the Warning, the ladies have conquered Rock! Along with Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, Plush, Dorothy and others, the women of this century have grabbed the flag of Real Rock & Roll and brought it forward for modern audiences and us old school Rockers alike. Rock On and check out all of these bands if you want real Hard Rock with Metal leanings with these amazing bands, they can share a stage with the Warning and have. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
*Ugh* *Ugh* is the 3rd song on the "Queen of the Murder Scene" (aka QOTMS) album released in 2018 when DPA/TW were an independent band... QOTMS is a concept album that tells a story from the first song to the last... hearing the album out of order makes it hard to follow the story... like reading a book's chapters out of order... two other original songs, *The One* and *The Sacrifice* , were spawned from *Ugh* ... *Ugh* was the working title because it was a hard one, they really had to work on it, and they actually wanted to shelve it... thankfully their father kept after them to complete it... they were like "ugh! do we have to?" and *Ugh* stuck as the official name, too... the result is great! this is one of their songs that you might want to think twice about playing when you are driving 😹 Fun Fact: one of their songs has/had the working title of "Gracias"... "Gracias" in this case being short for "Gracias, K-Pop" which is a salute from them to the K-Pop genre which has some influences on their sound and style... when they are playing, sometimes Ale will ask which song is up next and she'll get the answer "Gracias" which she knows that song by instead of its official song title... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Yeah nothing much cooler than an excellent trio, they're about as tight as it gets and visually very fun to watch. I to am from Cleveland and after following them for the past five years i finally got to see them in September and they were stellar
Pau has stated that Neil is her biggest influence. She tells a story about early in her drum education, her drum teacher brought her his entire Rush catalog and said "i don't care if you like this style or not, you don't have to; but you're gonna learn ALL of this".
Is that what it is Andy? I’ve been feeling the same way just haven’t figured out why but you’re right it works. Everything is clear and audible, I love being able to hear bass lines and Ale has got her bass dialed in. Fantastic sound!
Thanks for your review of this song. I love the outro on this live version with a guitar. On the studio album they use piano for the outro, but I think the guitar just hits so much harder.
Paulina was named DRUMEO 2023 rock drummer of the year. I like animosity, psychotic, and the poland rocks concert as possibilities of your gracious choosing.
In this video, the sisters are: • Dany 22 - Guitar • Pau 20 - Drummer • Ale 17 - Bass And Pau was Drumeo 2023 Drummer of the Year…@ 21!!! 🥁 And like Mr. Peart…Pau is the lyricist!
Would really love to see you react to The Warning's performance of '23' at their Teatro Metropolitian CDMX concert. It really showcases Paulina's gorgeous voice.
Hi Andrew, I think that you should help get this fantastic trio out to New Zealand. 10 years plus they have been around and better every day. Have a great New Year : best wishes from Waikanae NZ (The Warning fan for ages)
This was 2 and a half years ago. They were 21, 19, and 16 at the time and they are getting better and better. As a drummer, you should pay more attention to Pau. She is IMO the best PERFORMER I've ever seen or heard behind a drum kit in my 75 years on the planet. She has it all. Not just a great drummer. Her singing and dramatic performing put her in a category all her own.
The Warning do use tracks though, and they did here with a guitar backing; The thing is, they use tracks of themselves and only add it for spice and fullness, not for support or for a carry. UGH is a great example of a track very tastefully added. Their most famous track/fill is in the ending of Survive, and they added the track early on so it's always a part of the song 8 years later.
Who else loves The Warning's sound? What's your favorite song by them!? Share with me!

My favorite is the last one I listened to 😊
I love Automatic Sun. It has such a groove!
"Automatic Sun" and "Hell You Call A Dream" but fave is still "Choke".
my favorite song? i have a 60-way tie for that which may also include some of their covers 😹
at any random point, though, the last one i heard is playing on loop in my mind until the next one comes on 😜
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
_Ugh_ is named as such because the song was a challenge for the girls to write and record. They kept saying "ugh" when working on the song it stuck. Their dad pushed them to finish the song.
Main riffs have a thrashy sound like Metallica and Iron Maiden.
Also writing this song the parts they didn't like they used to create two other great songs on their QOTMS album.
This is the best live band currently touring IMO.
They are simply fantastic.
You have to do more of these 3 sisters.
I will be here every time.
Try "Disciple" live at the Pepsi Center CDMX
For me it is their signature song.
They have a deep catalogue of fantastic songs, not mediocre songs, fantastic songs.
Trust me after 3 or 4 songs you will love them like a proud uncle.
The drummer sings lead vocals on 20% or so of their songs. They are an amazing power trio.
The fullness of sound create a wall of sound really unbelieveble!
Someone commented a few weeks ago that Pau plays drums like she is choreographing a dance, and now I see it in many of the songs.
@@petahpunk that sentiment has been iterated many times for years in Lives all over UA-cam about La Maestra er, I mean Pau 🎯⚡⚡⚡
It's a fun fact! 🤘😜👍
Pau plays drums like Pau (POW!)
She slays Animal in videos
She gets compared to Keith freaking Moon 🌙 from videos taken when she was 15. I'm sure if he can watch, he approves. And she hasn't even peaked yet. What will she do next? is my favorite puzzle.
I LOVE THIS BAND !!
✌️💖🎼🎶
@@danieljodrey Me too Man!
It's fun seeing how she went from playing like Animal (the Muppet), completely wild style, when she was younger to now having a more graceful almost sassy style
All three bring theater with them especially Dany. She can go into character and facial features interpret the emotions of the song.
Paucam shows her erect style, her sass, and those strong arms...
I highly recommend catching this band in person - they are an OUTSTANDING live band!!
I can’t wait 🤘
I was fortunate enough to see them in LA in Oct 24. Great live show!!!
Caught them in Seattle this year.....I cried
Saw them in Leeds (UK), absolutely brilliant.
I saw those young ladies in Baltimore 9/14/24. Melted my face. Changed my life.
My all-time favorite Warning song.
Hats off to anyone who can make that determination ⚡⚡⚡
this song has such a great chorus
Neil Peart went to take lessons from a jazz guy later in his life and learned it’s not what beats you play but HOW you get to said beats. The space between hits is just as important. Pau seems to instinctively know this. My favorite drummer to come out in years.
In an interview Pau talks about Ale having better time and complaining about them not being in the pocket so Pau spent weeks staring at Ale's fingers to adjust her time to fit with the bass. I'm a bassist who plays with my daughter, and it would be really strange to have her adjust to me :)
✌ I saw in an interview Paulina said ,
her drum teacher made listening to the Rush catalog homework and she hopes to be as good as. (complete w breaking drumstick) Thank You

Ugh - One of my many favorites
Pau is a machine⚡️
I've heard this a few times. This is the first time I noticed Ale's bass strokes are directly in sync with Dany's singing. The bass supports and strongly enhances the singing and melody. Excellent.
Nice 👍
Ale is regarded to have natural perfect timing. A human metronome.
The warning one of the best live Rock band's right now ❤️❤️❤️⚡⚡⚡
🤘
My favorite "Drummer" , "Singers", "Bassist" "Front woman" " Family Band" "Pianists" "Song Writers " and " Live Performers" YEP..🌏✌️
Why are you hating on the guitar?😀
I recently heard music by The Warning for the first time, and I'm beyond impressed. I learned of the band by reading in a drummer article that Neil Peart of Rush fame was a big influence for Paulina Villarreal, which I can definitely hear in her drummer style. Well done.
Yeah! She’s amazing.
So glad you've found The Warning!
Ugh - was the most difficult song to write for the QOTMS album - 2 more came out of Ugh. The One and The Sacrifice (internally called Gracias K-Pop)
Exelent song
Don't forget their attempt to write Ugh generated two other songs for the album. They were going to give up, but their dad urged them to continue. It was so difficult for them, that every time they worked on it they would say "Ugh!"
@@keithwillenson8314What are the other songs?
@OkieMikester The One. I don't remember the othdf😢
Pau is a beast on the drums. One of the best is “Amour” live at the Pepsi center 2023. Really though this entire concert is Gold. All 23 songs. Incredible.
The drums create a poetic atmosphere in “Amour.”
You know, right, that Pau won Drumeo's Rock Drummer of the Year in 2023?
Amazing band. Loved your reaction. Keep up the great work!
Yes I know! It’s great 🤘
I am a huge Rush fan and also just found The Warning. I love their music.
Ditto. Would be good to go into the drum arrangement a bit. AFAIK there's almost nothing about that out there.
Well they're very much like Rush and Scorpions in that they're live performance varies little from the recorded version, that's why they're able to do live what they do in the studio with very minimal backing tracks
I love watching Pau drumming . She makes it look like she is having so much fun that you cant help but love it.
This is near the beginning of their 2nd album QOTMS. So it was written a long time ago.
Great band, a quality in sounds and mixing live, especially in Pepsi Center 2023, i don't remember in many years of concerts!
A ton of Rush fans have found this band. 3 pieces are the best
Love a 3-piece!
Awesome reaction! Amour live from The Pepsi Center has Pau going ham on her drums. It's almost like multiple drum solos going into the pre-chorus. 😅
❤️⚡🤘
I need to check that out!
UGH es una gran cancion ojala The Warning la interprete en el Auditorio Nal. para sentir que sigue viva, saludos desde la cd. de México 🇲🇽👍
Yes sir. See you there
IMHO, the best recorded performance of Ugh anywhere.
Pau isn’t just in the center she’s elevated so everyone can see her clearly 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for covering this band!
They've become my favorite as well.
Thank you, for sharing!
From the first time I saw them at the mtv awards live and evolve in 2023: it blew me away instantly fell in love with them the whole set of this performance is magical i hope you check out all this show and
AWESOME!
Cheers
1:48 The view from behind shows how snappy her stick stroke is. Brilliant!
This is my favorite song…because I'm listening to it now.
That's what I love about a good three piece. They do use backing tracks but it's still them. The thing about a good 3 piece is that there is no place to hide and everyone gets heard. As a bass head I love a good pronounced bass line. But it's great to be able to hear everyone. And that where a great 3 piece shines.
I listen to that song on repeat!!! 😎👽🔥❤️😃🎉🎁🎇
I've been following them on Facebook for a while now. I am in love with the bassist. Isn't it shocking how good these ladies sound? Such beautiful ladies and so talented.
There is a video on UA-cam of the bass player singing lead vocals
They do use some backing tracks but I am Okay wiith that, my favorite song of theirs depends on my mood at the time.
True!
Yup I’ve done hundreds of shows with tracks. I’m fine either way that 🤘
I love The Warning. My admiration for Ale (17 here) is off the scale.
Not sure if you have seen Evolve [ live sessions] but Pau kills on that song!
My favorite song is Survive. These Queens of Rock know how to rock since they were kids. Their newest album bangs big time.
Hi from Sheffield yorkshire england i have been a metal fan for 4 decades now n heard seen all the legends from queen to maiden n priest i haven't been as exited for a band as i have for a band for years
I never realized until you mentioned it.. this is very Rush like, I could definitely hear Rush playing this .. 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much for rediscovering The Warning.
Thanks Robert for bringing our girls to Andrew's attention. Andrew, you will not be disappointed with future The Warning's LIVE reactions.
He has reacted to the Warning before.
Excellent my friend... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad you like it!
The Warning are what you get when you add Dedication, Passion and an insane amount of Talent!
I’ve seen them 9 times and I’m 67. Just a great live band, great family and crew ❤ I love Shattered Heart and Dull Knives 🔪 Go see them
Can't wait to see them!
This is one of my favorite live performance of theirs!
Will see them this summer at Sweden Rock Festival! It will be awesome!
Huge The Warning fan here. The Heart thing was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
This song is from their album Queen of the Murder Scene that was released in 2018, so their ages were Dany 18, Pau 16 and Ale 13. Teenagers wrote and performed this song.
check out their re-imagined version of Enter Sandman from the same concert
They do use tracks. They are quite minimal.
A synth line, an occasional extra vocal layer.
But the girls are most definitely playing and singing live.
3 fantastic vocalists. The vocals get me every time. 2 and 3 part harmonies.
They most definitely have gotten even better than this. This performance is a few years old now.
They are going to be huge. They have everything they need to be to put rock back into its rightful place in mainstream music.
They are also true "influencers" I have seen a lot of videos of young girls doing covers of this band.
And they have three different two-part harmonies to work with, as well as the three-part.
Dany is playing on her gifted guitar she got from IZZY HAIL
I too love Song Title. Great song. I caught Band at the Pine Lounge back in '98. NAME OF DRUMMER had the flu but still killed it.
lol
🤣🤣🤣
🤦♂️
'98? What band are you referring to? The Warning - oldest Daniella (Dany) was born in 2000! Paulina is the drummer was born in 2002. Alejandra bass guitar born in 2004.
Name that band
@@luisrene2633 the joke is that the title of the video had 'NAME OF DRUMMER' and 'NAME OF BAND' in it for like an hour when it was new.
Thank you Andrew for reacting to my favorite Rock band in over 60 years. Loved your comments, much respect to you. Cheers, Happy New Year.
My pleasure! Happy New Year!
Yo thanks! 🙏
I have done a version of dust to dust … 🤔👀
@@AndrewRooneyDrums this one is bigger and better trust me 😉
the transition into Dull Knives is so perfect you'll go to pause it then realise hold on, it's still going 😁
They were 22 , 20 and 18 years old at this concert !!!
Still so young!
Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
*Ugh*
*Ugh* is the 3rd song on the "Queen of the Murder Scene" (aka QOTMS) album released in 2018 when DPA/TW were an independent band... QOTMS is a concept album that tells a story from the first song to the last... hearing the album out of order makes it hard to follow the story... like reading a book's chapters out of order...
two other original songs, *The One* and *The Sacrifice* , were spawned from *Ugh* ... *Ugh* was the working title because it was a hard one, they really had to work on it, and they actually wanted to shelve it... thankfully their father kept after them to complete it... they were like "ugh! do we have to?" and *Ugh* stuck as the official name, too... the result is great!
this is one of their songs that you might want to think twice about playing when you are driving 😹
Fun Fact: one of their songs has/had the working title of "Gracias"...
Thanks for the amazing info!
Didn't know that part , Explains Everything about how
straight up Awesome her work is . ("thanks for the information)
Great band, great song. Fun fact: “Ugh” is also what I say when I see the coffee in my home office that I haven’t shipped to you yet. Soon, I promise.
Is that what it is Andy? I’ve been feeling the same way just haven’t figured out why but you’re right it works. Everything is clear and audible, I love being able to hear bass lines and Ale has got her bass dialed in. Fantastic sound!
Still my favorite Album followed by Error. Amazing
Oh, first time I heard this a few years ago it was RUSH vibes all the way with that guitar tone.
So correct, the Warning are really doing that playing Unapologetic Rock and Roll.
YES
Thanks for your review of this song. I love the outro on this live version with a guitar. On the studio album they use piano for the outro, but I think the guitar just hits so much harder.
Paulina was named DRUMEO 2023 rock drummer of the year. I like animosity, psychotic, and the poland rocks concert as possibilities of your gracious choosing.
In this video, the sisters are:
• Dany 22 - Guitar
• Pau 20 - Drummer
• Ale 17 - Bass
And Pau was Drumeo 2023 Drummer of the Year…@ 21!!! 🥁
And like Mr. Peart…Pau is the lyricist!
there is something about these 3 that is undeniable
Hard to define why a band is pure FIRE!
Super talented. Great songwriting as well ! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
The latest posting for TW, “Pol and Rock” live on “SeriusXM” exceptional performances.
Would really love to see you react to The Warning's performance of '23' at their Teatro Metropolitian CDMX concert. It really showcases Paulina's gorgeous voice.
BTW, CDMX is the abbreviation for Ciudad de Mexico, kinda like NYC for New York City.
Got it!
The Warning donde se presenta es un gran espectáculo ,donde sobresale el estilo de tocar de Pau y la elegancia y precisión de Ale
“Ugh” is a newer find for me and I love it. Top Warning song(s) keep changing although “Martirio” is always in my top 5.
Yep, it was Kennedy Center Honors, when Ann and Nancy made Robert Plant cry :)
