Great video! Didn't know about Snaggle. There are very large snapping turtles between City Park and Rio Vista. Also, right after the Interstate. They are massive, like the size of a loveseat!
Beautiful. Not many people know but Ala Moana beach (Oahu) has turtles. Not the snapping ones, those are in the zoo. If you paddleboard, you'll see them come up for air. Once a seal swam in . . . fishes. You know how they play with their food, throw it around. Lifeguard had to move us away. It's illegal to go up to one. You need to stay 50 feet away from them. Such as our turtles, ten feet. Water's not as clear as your freshwater lake. Keep up with dives. Love underwater shots.
I was hoping there would be some good lakes in Texas to dive. I love shallow clear water dives. This sounds like it might be the best fresh water high visibility dive in Texas. Mammoth lake was decent but no where as clear as this looks to be. I'll stay clear of Snappy
thank you for this vastly wholesome video
You are very welcome!!
I have seen videos on the springs but this by far is the best one!
Thank you so much!
I thoroughly agree!
Prettiest place in Texas ! I live in San Marcos and need to go diving there soon
What a really cool video!
Thank you!
I feel lucky too live in san marcos
It’s a beautiful place!
Wow. That is the coolest view! Look him! There is algae growing on him So cool!
That is correct he has quite a bit of algae growing on his shell as well as leeches on his head : (
Love how the water bubbles in from below!
Thank you!
The reason the water bubbles is because of springs from beneath the sand.
Attended SWT (then) 4 years. You took me there again. Can't thank you enough. Where are the eels?
I’m glad you enjoyed it : )
Thank you🤗🤗🤗
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
Thank you!

Thank you! You can take a class called the DAC which will allow you to gain access and dive there
What was the music used in this video? Everything about the video was well put together. Thank you.
I really appreciate that, thank you! This was music that I got off of epidemic sound
Can I ask what you shoot with?
This was shot a while back with the Sony a6400
bro what's your underwater videography setup??? also, did you have to pay to scuba there?
Two things that endanger the flow of the springs is excessive drought and surrounding cities plus farmers and ranchers.
Agreed
Can you snorkel here?
I think you can sign up for snorkeling tours…call “the meadows center for water and the environment” for info
