In the midst where everyone was busy either hyping or being overwhelmed by the explicit meaning of the song, I love and I thank you Jordan for your interpretation. Honestly, I don't know what to think and feel about people's reaction either good or bad to the double meaning of the song. I just have so much love for JK, BTS and their positive message to the world through their artistry. And I thank you for giving me another good reason to love this song even more, beside it's really a great song, the beat, the musicality and Jung Kook's voice. This is a true serenade of someone who is devoted to love, something I hope everyone could see. You just earned one subscriber. 🙏💜🙏
Yeah, I guess 'meaning' is not the word I should have used. But it's true that the lyrics of the song is open for interpretation, the reason why there's also negative reaction. We cannot please everybody, as they said. I love JK and BTS, so I support their artistry all the way. This song is an art in it's all form, but I kinda get the critics, though.
@@lynneyujin3438The negative reaction would be because it's about sex, not because of some other interpretation. Why someone would be upset about that can vary, but it's the same thing
@mlk0-0 That's what I'm saying. Negative reaction comes from the interpretation that the lyrics is about sex. It may not be of a big deal to some but to some culture it's very taboo/bad to talk about it explicitly. Nonetheless, I love the song personally and I've streaming it seven days a week. I'm just thankful and my purple heart is happy hearing Jordan's serious commentary at the end. A reminder that this can also be interpreted that way. All is well, ARMY!
I like how Jordan’s reaction videos aren’t just about the editing style , but also the analysis, which is the cherry on top. I loved it. And l love his analysis on videos like this:))
7:48 "Something happened he is laying in the street" Jordon this was soo obvious, I was surprised you couldn't connect it.😅 He's lying on water..the water that rushed out from the flooded laundromat on the rescuers opening the door perhaps. He basically "drowned". The shot of him lying down was to create continuity in storyline. They used the same continuity principle that they used in the scene where he flew away and ended up dead in many instances. Also, at 7:45, he gave the lady a bunch of cash for those flowers and you can see her look at it confused but with a grateful smile. Such a nice detail!
Thanks for this reaction! I appreciate you sharing your Christian perspective. There are actually so many songs that could be interpreted in a spiritual way. 💜
I appreciate your reaction as a video editor . You can see details that we dont normally see and the story telling. Love the song. JK's vocals are mesmerizing.
Seven is a hit for sure. I really think it will have a realistic chance to become the 1st #1 ever song on hot 100 by a solo Kpop singer (or a singer from Kpop, as Jungkook is not acting as a Kpop singer in this comeback but rather just a singer aiming for all music markets (actually the US)). let's wait and see. On the k-army side, a widely supported hypothesis is that the protagonist is going through difficult situations in her daily life and therefore believes that it is better to end the relationship. Given this, Jk decides to show her that despite the difficulties in her life, he can be by her side and support her.
After the first scene when they break up, she is the protagonist of the video and he isn't really there. He symbolizes her being unable to stop thinking about him. All the chaos represents the state of her mind. At the end, it stops raining as soon as she decides to accept her feelings for him. The lighting and thunder still stays because their relationship is passionate and not perfect but life is better if they're together.
I think the water throughout this entire MV is actually symbolism for his love. in the laundromat scene, he says, "Show you what devotion is, Deeper than the ocean is" and it cuts into the rising water. take that into the next scenes and the storm is his emotions as he is charging straight in to pursue her consistently. which is why in the end she stops and stares at the sky, then looks to him. it is like she is saying 'fine, okay. i get the picture. lets end the storm and waterworks and get out of the rain.' and then the rain stops as soon as she does it. like, this dude is drowning her in his love. lmfao
What I like is how this MV kinda tricks people into thinking it's funny, sweet and romantic. But looking at it from a different perspective (like her pov for example), it is extremely toxic. She breaks up with him, but he is kinda ignoring her concerns and anger. The ambulance and flower scene makes people think, "just go to him he's loyal and dedicated". Notice the money he paid the flower seller was a lot? The lyrics make you think he will love you unconditionally despite her inner turmoils or obstacles that bothers them. But listening to the explicit version, were the words were changed from "I'll be loving you right. Seven days a week", to "I'll be fucking you right. Seven days a week". One word changed and the whole song changes (i think it's smart). You start to think, that maybe he was just too much for her (Be it obsessively or sexually). Which what might be the fight at the beginning was all about. Yes, I know even with the clean version, the song is still about sex. But it's not as direct as the explicit version. They fight, (possibly broke up). He follows her around and when he "dies", she goes to his funeral. But surprise, he wasn't dead, which makes the viewers laugh. But to her, it is deception. It's exhausting. He pretended and even got people to play funeral with him. This is a foreshadowing of how she still cares despite the stalker behavior. He goes to the extremes just for her to go to him since she won't look at him when he does the chasing. So at the end of the week, she ends up getting back together with him and the cycle continues. Edit: Also wanted to say, Jungkook be a huge SIMP 😂 Also wanted to point out that he never touches her in all this time until SHE held his hand first.
I have another interpretation too. I'll definitely respect your opinion but hear me out first. The first line of the song, ''weight of the world on your shoulders, i kiss your waist and ease your mind.'' His gf could possibly be stressed by the burden given by the world which made her leash out her anger on him, it happens sometimes, because of stress relationships get affected too. But jk is trying to convince her that no matter what he will stick to her, he will be there for her forever. Also the line,'' show u what devotion is deeper than the ocean is'' is another such example. There r several things going on in her life and maybe because of that she is trying to keep him away from all the hurdles she is going through, that scene where he flew away and she was there beside the washing machine struggling so bad. Also as u said that he wasn't even touching her in any video, no violence or any sort of rage just trying his best to get her back and finally she sticks her hand out for him to hold her hand and he then only grabs her hand. Maybe your interpretation is correct but this is what i got from the mv. p.s im not a native speaker so please forgive me for my english.

I think Jordan is pretty spot on and he’s Christian he’s not dead! He understands the sexual connotations and switches it up to God love and his pursuit of our hearts with a sexy switch-a-too. The sevens are everywhere. Great review!!

I luuuuvvvvv how u point out things that matter that I never noticed even after 50 watches! Like the guitar at the beginning. The heart in the beginning also....luv ur videos Jordan!
I interpret this video a little differently although I agree with unrelentless love. Each day of the week and the scenes depict the storm that’s brewing inside of So Hee feeling angry at Jk hahahaha until the last scene, she has calmed down when she smiled on Sunday and then the pouring rain stopped. The love story is very asian and reminds me of boys over flowers haha
As far as I think it's about how Sohee doesn't want jk to be caught up in her chaotic life since we see wherever she goes something bad happens and she just wants jk to not get involved in it but jk is not giving up and ready to go through all that just for her to the point where he can even die for her and come back to life

Tbh on first watch as soon as I saw him outside the train window i was like OH HELL NAWWW i wouldve filed a restraining order LOL and at the end i was like GIRL NO
I don't think it tricks us. It's clear that from every scene jk is obsessive and being toxic
I love how ateez's halazia was the first example of a complicated storyline😆thats ateez lore for you
I appreciate how you shared this perspective, Jordan!
And the way you shared the Gospel in this reaction is amazing.
Thank you!
Was looking forward to your reaction and you definitely did not disappoint!! Lost it at the comment about Latto’s part. Lol
Thank you for reacting, Jordan! I've been waiting for it! You might want to view the explicit version, it might change your interpretation, LOL. More in line with Latto's rap. Check out the 'MV Shoot Sketch' video as well. Missed your reactions to BTS content!
Yes , I also missing his reaction to BTS mvs.
As a Christian I loved how when we look at this we get to see beyond the physical realm, you saw a message behind what was supposed to be the meaning of this song, and I’m so glad you are not afraid to spread the gospel.May God bless you and continue to be with you always and your family, make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you!!
I think Jordan is pretty spot on and he’s Christian he’s not dead! He understands the sexual connotations and switches it up to God love and his pursuit of our hearts with a sexy switch-a-too. The sevens are everywhere. Great review!!
the way jordan makes it so much funnier makes me laugh so much😭
I waited for your reaction to this and you're as brilliant as ever!!! Also, I like how you see it as an allegory. Wow! Your interpretations always are 👌💜👌
This was super fun and I love your take on it! As a Christian myself, I was hoping you'd react and didn't disappoint! Also, it's so funny when you talked about the Jesus part bc I literally came to that conclusion a few days ago and thought i was just tripping out, but it's nice to hear you saw it too and I'm not the only one. XD
as a christian BTS stan this made me LOVE seven even more
.. and i was waiting on YOU to review this. I have Reactors who are Musicians, Producers, Directors, Vocal Coaches, Professors, Writers and finally, YOU, the video editor, I needed to understand certain uses of scenes (like the stupid vending machine). THANK YOU!!!!
I waited for your reaction... thank you and I love your interpretation in this mv esp. about Jesus. God bless you more.
Thanks for all your reactions....your thoughts ....your interpretations of this great songs of our Golden bunny Jungkook! Love this guy ❤❤❤
Been waiting for your reaction for 7 days. 😂 Thanks for making one.
I thought I was the only one who literally saw the Gospel in this video!!!
I don’t think that was their intention but it’s hard to show a relentless love without see cue from the ultimate love …
God wants to be with us in the storms of life…all we have to do is reach out and receive it!!!!
THANJ YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS!❤
Be careful. Not all ''representation'' intended or not is an accurate picture of the Gospel.
This is Jungkook. He is the whole group himself, not only that, he can also do anything. He is a whole package
Not you again, NASRUN "NASRUN SJ" SARADA.
Part-time engineer and full-time troll sending love messages on contents while sending harm threats on same artists' live stream.
You should do better contributions for Malaysia than this.
@@yesiamaisey y'all have beef or something?😰
@@imgonnabeastar127 He's on Music Bank live stream earlier.
That account camps out in every live stream of broadcast shows throwing hate and harmful comments such us su1cid3.
But that same account also comment copy pasted good comments on the same artists' videos even without watching the contents and just going on same structure of comments.
That account said that others kept using its name for hate but we can clearly see that account's tag (@)username kept showing on live streams are all same as this account so he's notorious for that.
He isn't the whole group tho , he's just one of them and contributes to bts to make them , well them
Whole group??
I am Christian and when you are with Jesus life feels so much better and I love your references
I loved your reaction to 'Seven'! I love how after everything, she simply reaches for his hand. It's so sweet!
Jordan what's up!
I find you so refreshing! loved how you dissect the meaning behind the visuals, and how you explained why they were properly done for a meaning and how they could improve! finally!! you must share your view with the world even if you think they'll not agree! 💪
I'll be watching your content closely as you justify clearly why you appreciate art or even why you don't! looking forward for more, thank you!
btw she's such good actress, loved her
You're the second reactor that I watched that connects the story of the mv to jesus/bible. I enjoyed you're reaction and interpretation. Thanks Jordan
The mv for Seven was like any typical Indian song it literally looked like that looking such stuff in kpop is so fascinating🌌
12:32 lol! This is LITERALLY ME! Yes, thank you Jordan for explaining everything and helping us really appreciate the depth of K-pop music videos 🙏
HAHAHAHA Jordan this is why you are my literal favorite. I love how you CAN SEE THE GOSPEL IN A MUSIC VIDEO 😂 "HIS UNRELENTING LOVE IS LIKE JESUS' LOVE FOR US!! WILLING TO DIE TO LOVE US... And then it gets strange and sexual. That's not... Part of it." ❤❤❤ That was GOLD. 🎉
I’m so glad you reacted to this video❤
This is by far my most favorite reaction video. In literal tears!
Jordan, you were so brave to preach!!!!!! love you, man!!! p.s: I love your dance therapy!!!!
Subscribed because of the boldness in faith and using your platform to share the love of Jesus ❤️ onward for His Kingdom! 🙌🏼 let’s go!!!
You are literally my favourite youtuber!! keep spreading the gospel !!
I love this song, Jung Kook never dissapointed!!
jordan's reactions are so real, im literally jordan when i first see this mv
Finally jordan reacts!! Been waiting for him to react for like crazy and haegeum as well but I couldn't find any. Glad that he reacted to seven!!
The way you connected this video with the message of salvation is amazing!!!! Love U
This is so cute
I already expected your reaction would be lol and also I didn't expect you would mention about Jesus which actually made me realised another aspect of the song as well.
I love how supportive everyone is in the comments of his beliefs. I fully expect to see people hating on him for it, but A+ to you guys😅
Never thought of this music video that way, but it was definitely a good point!
Have a blessed day too!💜
THE FUNNIEST THING WHEN JK FLIES, THEY MAKE HIM RAGDOLLING LMAO
Aloha from Hawaii! Ecstatic to see your work here. Thank you to your camera woman, girlfriend as well as therapy buddy. Cheers.
:) i never clicked a notification so fast
I luuuuvvvvv how u point out things that matter that I never noticed even after 50 watches! Like the guitar at the beginning. The heart in the beginning also....luv ur videos Jordan!
I WAS WAITING FOR THIS JORDAN THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO THIS😭😭
I love Jordan's reactions...so funny but professional too!
they way you related it to jesus was just genius Lol
Everything that I had in mind about this was completely different 😂
I clicked so fast!! Was waiting !
In the opening shot, I really liked how the older couple in the background was mirroring what was happening with Jungkook....sweet.
Love how you turned it into a preaching moment👏🏽🤸🏽♀️
Hi Jordan! I always adore your content, specially this one. Thank you for reminding me that God has always been there and extends his hands for us.
Finallyyyy I've been waiting for this video since Seven was released hahaha 🫶🏼✨
LOL 😂 your comment about JESUS caught me off guard, I’m also a Christian, this comment actually made my day.
I love it.. the end is perfect! 🙏😭🤗
11:13 bro this is not about Jesus, it’s a very sexual song but they had to tone it down and make an non explicit ver for the mv
As far as I think it's about how Sohee doesn't want jk to be caught up in her chaotic life since we see wherever she goes something bad happens and she just wants jk to not get involved in it but jk is not giving up and ready to go through all that just for her to the point where he can even die for her and come back to life
Okay, was just watching for jk, but i instead got an additional enlightening words from you. You just made my day, God bless you my man.
Fellow believer here 😊 I love how you you found the similarities between Jesus’s love for us and JK’s video, that was awesome! Thanks for never shying away from your beliefs 🙌
Ugh!! I was waiting for this!! Luv you jordan. From PH!!
"that part's not really .. related to Jesus... " BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
갑자기 은혜로워지는 우리 정국이 뮤직비디오♡
Thank you for your reaction the song is awesome like him💜💜
I totally missed him flying off into the wind 🤣🤣🤣
Your testimony of Christ's love for us all was so touching and I love your input of these videos! :)
Im not crying you are!!!!!
Love how any Jordan's background shows on the title depending on the video that he'll feature
I was actully waiting for your reaction on this music video !!
Seriously tho, everytime i watch KPop MV that that has complicated story, i secretly hope Jordan will explain it to me😂
******* I found this FASCINATING! The BTS EP:ISODE-Shooting Sketch from Actor JUNGKOOK's Shooting Sketch.
I loved your reaction!!!! How cool are you to see all the details!!
In recent years, I see God sending blessings in the most unexpected ways!
It was a joy listening to you formulate this very unexpected allegory, Jesus as the boyfriend with undying devotion and patience.
There's a new group that just debuted called KISS OF LIFE. Their production is absolutely amazing! I recommend you check all their videos in this order: Sugarcoat, Countdown, Kitty Cat, Play Love Games, Bye My Neverland, Shhh😁 Also loved your videos, and hope you keep it up!
