@@jennifer7317 yes they did amazing job but if you're his fan u can clearly tell all of it is his ideas so its his imaginary art which they made it real (and this is what taehyung himself said that he already had images for songs and he thought about who can turn his images into MV)
I really really loved this MV and im glad you reacted! There's tons os theories about this mv as you can imagine, like you can hear the ticking of a clock on the song and the mv makes you feel like he's stuck in time. We sometimes feel like there's someone with him, only for the shot to widen and we see no one; he puts a plate for someone, not the dog but someone, and right before there's a pov as if someone is filming him - the lyrics read "ive been on my own maybe". The salt (?) goes back to the bag right as the lyrics say "can we go back to that moment again".
Yes the alien is theorized as to the way he sees himself, and we can see the digitalized version is singing as if it was him; and all the heads of dolls and idol references, just like the graphics on his face is interpreted to how he's been on the public eye and said to be the most handsome man, that his visuals are incomparable.
I'm SUPER excited about his solo project, he's always been super artistic and expressive through art - through paints, photography, music and now solo mvs and the concept of his album. he's very passionate and i hope everyone get to see him in this light as well!!

I thought the pov was the dog watching him. Hence the black and white since those colors have been said to be the colors that dogs see. It further stabilizes this idea after it pans to the dog yeontan staring at him while V sets up the table. But the idea is that he's focused on his work (he's on the phone while the dog is there with him) so much that he doesn't pay attention to his friend that loves him. I think that the mv is singing for the dog not a specific person. The beginning when he lays down after putting on the hoodie he strokes the dogs bed. Then when he's sitting on the couch the dog leaves but at the end of the mv the dog is sitting on him. Idk just an idea.
All the focus on his heavenly beauty & his soulful voice.... nothing else! It's so unpretentious & raw. I can't describe how much I love this song. This is my kinda music. Tae knows his audience very well! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The tweet was originally made by a video editor who knows what she is talking about and understands colours so stop hating. At 6:20 he is literally looking at Yeotan who siting across the table on his chair and we are seeing V through the dog’s eyes which is why those scenes are black and white

One detail I love is that the 'V' of birds are actually flying backwards, as birds in that formation would fly towards the point of the V. It indicates that 'time' is not flowing normally here.
We also see the return of 'Vante', V's artist alter ego. :) He's made some really cool works and the baguette-painted alien is very much his style!
The bird theory also caught my eye when i felt like something was wrong. I realised they were flying in the wrong direction as you mentioned and now it makes more sense on how the time there was not flowing normally.

Jordan Orme is clearly a very musical person. So in tune with the flow of the music, the notes, and the chords. It comes through in his commentary every time. One of the qualities of a great MV editor is intrinsic intuitive feel for the music.
I read somewhere that the reason everything is yellow and blue is bc it's from the POV of Yeontan, Tae's dog, and dogs can't see most other colors.

I don’t think she’s the only one involved in the creativity of this MV. It’s Tae to a core; his love for art and his unique mind. Besides, he has used sound effects in his songs before (Scenery) to capture the mood of the song. I think them working together is what brought this masterpiece to life. And why I’m really excited for the remaining 3 songs
I'm pretty sure collaboration means collaboration! It feels like Tae had a say in the creative process as well!

Loooved your review and attention to detail. 80s and 90s had a lot of b&w…mosaic effects with the transition from linear to nonlinear was very difficult etc, it helps with the intentional nostalgia. V has many nods to other eras in his style. He’s an old soul and that’s the vibe I get here.

V has had an "alien" theme going for years. Not that he feels alienated, but that he looks at situations from a different viewpoint that others don't expect. There are compilation videos, lol! ... Jimin's song about their friendship says, "Hello, my alien! We're each others' mystery!" .... When the group worked with artists to each come up with a cartoon character, many of them chose animals, but V came up with an alien from another planet whose head was the shape of a big red heart. So, he's different, but too nice to be scarey.
And finally Jordan, thanks for reminding us that Jesus loves us! He continues to bless me in the most unexpected ways!

I just saw some commentary that mentioned the video was supposed to be from Yeontan's point of view. That's an interesting concept and can definitely see it w/ camera angles etc. And when you point out the only colors a dog sees are blue/ yello and then the rest is pretty much in black and white it makes sense too. Would not be suprised if that is the case.

I love the way you react on this mv from KIM TAEHYUNG's song, RAINY DAYS! I learn some art technique as well, but your words are interesting to listen to. I can feel how artistic you are as well. Your reaction in this mv is remarkable. Yes, this mv is the only one that I have seen in KPOP music. I believe that TAEHYUNG is such a smart and intelligent person, I know he collaborated with his producer and people around him while doing this mv. Considering the heavy "French" vibes of the video, when he brought out the bread and started painting with it, I immediately thought "The French word for bread is PAIN"...
Is it a coincidence, or is Taehyung painting with a piece of bread as a pun for how much the character is suffering?
Also, it seems like he's painting an alien (see the antenna on its head), a nickname that's been used for him in the past which he doesn't like. But is it meant to be a self-portrait, or a female alien (it's got pretty plush lips - but then so does half of BTS), so is it a comment on this mystery woman being "alien" and failing to understand her? Or some kind of commentary on how often he was called out for being "weird" and "alien" in the past - is it still painful, or is he owning it at last?
I have no idea, all I know is my brain noted both the "pain" paintbrush and the ALIEN imagery which we also see him through, and wondered how significant it was.
Wow that is seriously so smart!! but in my opinion ( I could totally be wrong here it is just my theory) the pain is not about a female but his own dog Yeontan and his failed surgeries and how it all affects Taehyung in the end. When it says "can we go back to the moment i get ya", it could be referring to the first time Tae got Yeontan even after knowing about Yeontan's health issues and how that time he was super dedicated to get Yeontan healthy again (he still is but right now he doesn't know how many more surgeries it will take for Yeontan to get better). Plus seeing how Tae said that his whole album was to debut Yeontan and it was all based over Yeontan is also another reason i think my theory could be true. Again, this is just my theory and I could totally be wrong

@@EllaIsDeadly honestly everything for now is just a personal theory. All we are 100% sure of is that Tae's who album relates to Yeontan. Because I remember hearing theories about his song Blue, when he went over to someone's house (people say it's his ex) to get back yeontan. We know he is trying to get back yeontan but we dont know who that person is who's house he went over to to get his dog. Everything is a complete mystery. Who knows, maybe all this could somehow relate to the BU Story🤷♀️ Nothing is confirmed except for Yeontan being the main lead here💜
