So the defense Shmendrick expected the jury to believe Todd's google account got hacked AND his wife accidentally stabbed herself in the back four times with a pitchfork? 🤔😂
Except she never factored in that the job Todd gave Amy to do only takes about a half minute. Any would have only been inside the shed a half minute. But the prosecutor says sometime that morning after Amy left for the shed, their son went for a drink in the connected office. Sometime that morning? Sometime that morning? Amy would have already been at the house, because he only gave her a quick job in the shed! Now if Todd had given her a long-lasting job in there... But he did not according to the state's star witness, their son! Big goof on the part of the prosecutor and the sheriff's department before that! And now, cone to find out, Amy's coat only had four holes. What a crock! Iowa needs to discipline these officials and set Todd Mullis free.

I have a password on my laptop, phone, everything in case they get lost or stolen., not to keep my family from using them. I think it was an accident. Amy reached for pet carrier and stepped on tins, the handle came up and hit her jaw and ear etc., Amy was startled and staggered and fell on corn rake. This is when the puncture woulds happened that punctured her breast implant and side back. She got up to get help and rake came out of her, her lungs were filling up with fluid and she fell again, this time backwards onto the rake. She tried to get up again and only made it to her knees. This Deputy is soooo wrong! The time and his idea of "Google searches." If this Defendent had signed into his Google account on the _FAMILY COMPUTER,_ and *DIDN'T* log out of his account (his email), and his wife (or kids) went onto the family computer during that time and searched, any of those items would show up as searches under his name. That's how it works! I *CANNOT* believe that this guy doesn't understand how this stuff works. The only thing you can actually determine was done on that iPad, would be if you downloaded the content of the iPad itself. He needs to take some classes in computer science or not be doing _"THAT"_ part of his job. My Sweetie has been in L.E. for over 25 years now, and he's just shocked that this guy doesn't know the about the time zone, and the data information. That's _EXTREMELY_ dangerous what that officer just did. He needs to be trained again _Very VERY_ Badly!

@@karenbehavin412 I thought the SAME THING. especially after the friend stated Amy was upset tht Tristan got extremely close to Todd. I didnt understand why she would be upset her son is close to his dad. none of these seems right. he has definitely been railroaded
This guy Hemesath! What an arrogant, conceited human being. It must be his new hair follicles letting in air. His answers were so biased and smug that he should have been hearing 'objection' after every other sentence. Mr. Mullis definitely needs another trial with a more technologically aware group of lawyers. In all fairness, his lawyers weren't so much incompetent as they were outdated. It seems evident that there was enough room for 'reasonable doubt' in this case.
If they would pay attention and Todd would explain himself better. The idea to get the pet carrier was to get her back inside and make her feel like she was doing something helpful. You hear that Todd believed the carrier to possibly weigh 10 lbs which is not more than Amy could carry post surgery. She was planning on going shopping the same day. So obviously she didn't feel too bad prior to this. I think most people have a D&C with zero complications.
It's possible, but not probable! Seriously? Its beyond asinine to believe that in a house with 5 different people that only 1 person has ever used that iPad. Furthermore, everyone knows that if you don't sign out of your account then anyone who uses that Ipad will be searching under your account. It happens where I work ALL the time! So, I 100% believe that Amy was using Todd's Ipad to search wedding dresses, wedding rings, designing wedding rings, Pinterest, etc., because Todd just doesn't strike me as the type to wear wedding dresses or ladies wedding rings.
Omg his lawyer erks me! He done even know where his own clients camras was, for him to say , he dont know technology is pathetic! He had time to do some searching
Days after his wife is murdered he looks completely normal at the police station like nothing happened. Keep in mind they did this to see how he would act and he failed that test. Who wouldn't be grief stricken or depressed? He just looks nervous. He tried to make it look like an accident, it was proved to be homicide.
The cop's saying that he knows the search history is from that specific iPad because the email addresses match. But you can be logged in using the same account on multiple devices simultaneously... This applies to not only Gmail but all the Google apps, sites and others such as Facebook. I'm not an expert on this, but I know I'm right because I'm currently logged in as my mom, and so is she!
Yes I too believe that maybe Jerry's wife did it. She claims that she was hours away at some event. How do you know that she didn't sneak away from the event kill Amy clean herself up and then return to the event. Jerry's alibi was that he was home with his son how do you know that he didn't sneak out kill Amy and then return home. I don't feel that their alibis check out 100 percent .
The defense attorney is a master of his craft. The deputy needs to take lessons - he is wet behind the ears. He has no clue how Google works. Jesus, that is scary.
My mom knows nothing about tech so I set her phone up for her and sent it to her, I live far away. Next Christmas I bought her a tablet and once again set it all up for her before sending it to her. When I set it up to her Apple ID etc, it actually had the web pages that she had searched for on her phone on the tablet, so it would be possible I think to log into the account on a different device and the search history to reflect both devices.
The defense is HORRIBLE. This guy didn't stand a chance. I mean, the prosecution is bad too, but the defense is just...I don't even know how to explain what i'm thinking. They're awful.
I agree! Amy may have been a lot of things, but one thing is for certain & that is she was a liar & a cheater & in my opinion she was narcissistic. Being the narcissistic woman that she was she couldn't stand to be without a man. So even though she was married for 14-years, she continued to pursue other men. Narcissistic people tend to start a new relationship with "new narcissistic supply", before ending the old one. Once the narcissistic person actually ends their old relationship its known as "discarding", because they typically do it in a manner that ensures that there is no chance of resurrecting the old relationship. I believe the reason Amy was never happy with Todd was because she was narcissistic & narcissistic people are never happy, no matter what you do for them. Furthermore, she was going around saying horrible things about Todd to anyone who would listen, which is another typical narcissistic trait & known as a "smear campaign". So, despite the fact that Amy was the one who was constantly lying & cheating, she took every opportunity to smear Todd's name & character to make him out to be the "bad guy" prior to the divorce, so that after the divorce people wouldn't see her as the "bad guy" or a bad mother.
I know a few rich farmers. They won't spend a DIME on anything that's not for the business. I bet he treated Amy like a slave. Desperate people do desperate things. Killing his wife proves that he was unstable. He couldn't handle having E.D. while she was sexually active with JF.
Ems: It is called a D&C, not DNC. It means "dilation and curettage". They are performed for a multitude of reasons to scrape and remove things in the uterus, like polyps, infected tissue, fibrous tissue, and the tissue remains from miscarriage.
This does not prove that he was the one who did the searches, it only proves somebody was using the search engine, I hope he gets his appeal and it be a fair trail with experts not novices
The biggest problem Todd has ; The defense has admitted it's murder. If Todd didn't do it then who did? I think the jury will have a difficult time thinking the son killed his mom. Hence, Todd is screwed. Best outcome he could hope for would be hung jury, but then it's still not over. Not looking good for Todd.
It is not the defences job to show who did it, or that Todd didn't do it. The only purpose of the trial is for the prosecution to PROVE BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that the defendant did it. At this point they haven't proven anything.
Now the country's top forensic pathologists and two other experienced reputable ones plus a medicological death investigator have all written Amy died of an accident. Four holes in Amy s coat, not six. ..for one. Many other reasons he should never have even been charged, including corruption.
I listened with my headphones on and it was still really bad. I couldn't hear much of anything said from the interview room. Anyone else think that the old geezer defence lawyer took the cocky young cop down a peg or two? And the State lady lawyer is getting kinda over confidant and rude now. I liked her at first too.
The Interview Room at the police station is HORRIBLE, not sound prove, you can hear people talking on the phone. Lots of background noise. Audio is horrible, unprofessional

sing2mesoprano I did not get the thread of message, but read Exodus 23:19 and this shows the power of the soul, the power we have to deceive erverybody else, to do cunning things, to defraud, to utilize other people. We can be stirred Sensually or Spiritually, and I think Todd was stirred Sensually. 1 Peter 2:11 says we must abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. I believe a natural man like Todd would have fallen into that category. I don't see where he relied on anything but his own wits the entire time, and Proverbs 3:5-6 says to trust in the LORD, with all your heart, and *rely not on your own understanding*, in all your ways acknowledge HIM ....
Notice how they use the word *HOMICIDE* harshly. Todd's attorney predicated Todd's case as a homicide not as an accident. This is key to whether or not Todd was railroaded. His lawyer after the trial and at the sentencing hearing brings out this disparity.
This detective only seems to care about proving he's right rather than trying to get to the truth! Weird

I searched google on my android phone and the history showed up on my iPad. However, they would have to sign in with his email.
It was family accessed.
I love this prosecutor’s approach, softly spoken but extremely intelligent! I love intellectual people!
@@leslielauger486Todd said he waited over an hour before sending Tristan over to the shed. Needed to make sure he had.time to kill her before he sent his kid.
I'm not totally convinced the state has a case against Todd....ive been bingeing the whole trial so far....if the ipad is community anyone could be looking up stuff....as long as they have this so called password....
I have a password on my laptop, phone, everything in case they get lost or stolen., not to keep my family from using them. I think it was an accident.
If the corn rake was propped up against the wall and Amy didn't notice it....
Todd can count and if he tried to fake an accident he knew she had too many puncture wounds and would have made her disappear. He would not have sent his son to get pet carrier.
What do you think ?
@@e.wilson1205 I personally think she got light headed as she did before and she fell on the rake....Todd or any parent wouldnt send their child purposely to find their dead or hurt parent....i truly think amy fell on the rake or like u said stepped on the twines of the rake and thats what killed her....i feel that the state of Iowa's court system wasted everyones time and tax payer money to try a case that shouldnt have been tried....ive watched all of the trial now and waiting on the verdict....i hope if the jury comes back and says something about wasting their time on an accident that went wrong....the state prosecution didnt give enough evidence to back up their theory of Todd killing his wife....so now if hes found guilty the kids will be without both parents...i feel amy struggled with trying to free herself but nobody heard her cries for help....
@@tonyajablonski3219 We both believe the 13 yr old son is telling the truth. He has his own attorney someone hired for him.
I had to find a way that her jaw would have that bruise. Stepping on the tins would make the handle pop up and hit her just right.
I wish the jury would say not testing her fingernail clippings for DNA was enough for reasonable doubt.
@@e.wilson1205 Todd testified that he removed the rake from Amy's body.
@@rburns9248 He found her with the rake in her back and removed it, but the rake went into her 2 times. The first time it was kinda on her side towards the back. She is an RN and would have known she was dying and couldn't wait for help to find her. Maybe it fell out or maybe she took it out so she could try to get down the hall. I hope he gets another trial.
I do not think any Internet search should be admissible in court period. Simple reason....you can not prove that he did those searches...
Jill Parkhurst Exactly!
My wife has access to my google account from 4 different devices, this whole witness is trash.
And the search histories do transfer over.. when someone is logged in from multiple devices
This Deputy is soooo wrong! The time and his idea of "Google searches."
If this Defendent had signed into his Google account on the _FAMILY COMPUTER,_ and *DIDN'T* log out of his account (his email), and his wife (or kids) went onto the family computer during that time and searched, any of those items would show up as searches under his name.
How can you be 💯 who searched what? 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
You can't unless you do a lot of research, for example if there is a record that someone was at work and they are not allowed to access phones or ipads, then it cannot be that person searching.
@@tauresattauresa7137 you are absolutely right! And they probably didn't even try and figure out who did those searches! After watching this much of the trial I don't know but it's possible that the son did it! And he was searching to try and find out who his biological father is! I don't know there's a lot of Reasonable Doubt in this trial. A lot of hearsay, it's a joke! He's definitely not getting a fair trial.
@@karenbehavin412 I thought the SAME THING. especially after the friend stated Amy was upset tht Tristan got extremely close to Todd. I didnt understand why she would be upset her son is close to his dad. none of these seems right. he has definitely been railroaded
This is painful! Easily the worst defense attorney I've ever witnessed.
You never know...perhaps his son wanted to get married ?? (Joke)
Watching Todd at the defense table....its apparent he's an emotional and "reactive" guy 😏🤔
Yes ..
You don't have to log in and out of your email on a family iPad. They all use it.
They didn't verify Jerry's wifes alibi?? Really??? We believed her; good enough for us. Wow.
Exactly my thoughts.
As well, so I'm guessing Jerry's wife got the "bad news" about Jerry and Amy via the detective visit?😏
A good investigator never leaves his notes behind!
youre not allowed to have notes up on the stand bud
I'm just always wondered if Amy had an abortion and her husband was questioning if her youngest child was his on the computer
I was wondering what kind of procedure she had. Probably an abortion.
GOOD POINT. He may have doubts about his paternity...
Why they even asking a detective a computer tech question anyway?
My mom knows nothing about tech so I set her phone up for her and sent it to her, I live far away. Next Christmas I bought her a tablet and once again set it all up for her before sending it to her. When I set it up to her Apple ID etc, it actually had the web pages that she had searched for on her phone on the tablet, so it would be possible I think to log into the account on a different device and the search history to reflect both devices.
Absolutely. It's not device specific.
This defense attorney is so bad. I really hope a retrial happens....this is a massive injustice.
His defense team is ridiculously incompetent.
The defense is HORRIBLE. This guy didn't stand a chance. I mean, the prosecution is bad too, but the defense is just...I don't even know how to explain what i'm thinking. They're awful.
OMG - don't ever go to Iowa!
Right?
Not with a pitchfork.
Amy went on about her being imprisoned in her marriage, but it’s actually Todd imprisoned by the lies of a serial cheater.
@@solomon2424 I agree
I know a few rich farmers. They won't spend a DIME on anything that's not for the business. I bet he treated Amy like a slave. Desperate people do desperate things. Killing his wife proves that he was unstable. He couldn't handle having E.D. while she was sexually active with JF.
Isn’t a uterus an organ which is scraped out during a D&C?
Helen Garbenis yep. Uterus also carries a embryo to baby to birth. A powerful organ. Skin is the largest organ🤗
They seem to skirt the fact that a DNC is ONLY performed after a miscarriage or botched abortion. Wow - just, wow!!
Ems:
It is called a D&C, not DNC. It means "dilation and curettage".
They are performed for a multitude of reasons to scrape and remove things in the uterus, like polyps, infected tissue, fibrous tissue, and the tissue remains from miscarriage.
@@elsmart72 well that’s not true. There are several reasons other than miscarriage and botched abortion to do a D&C.
Yes Amy can also use iPad with Todd’s email why doesn’t he say that this detective is not that smart omg
I still am not convinced he's guilty. Isn't it "beyond a shadow of a doubt"? I have many doubts! The investigation is flawed.
Sound isn't the best during the interview. If you have them, use earbuds, it's better.
Bad defense....stop the deputy from talking and not answering his question.....letting him repeat the prosecution arguments
I just watched the trial for Lindsay Partin ..... The defense in that trial was like watching the keystone cops compared to this defense attorney ....
Ut oh, the UCT tome just messed this officer all up, defence should have stayed w it

The Interview Room at the police station is HORRIBLE, not sound prove, you can hear people talking on the phone. Lots of background noise. Audio is horrible, unprofessional
Karen Behavin I haven’t seen or heard that video yet. I hope it’s coming.
Couldn't they hire a tech expert??
bad witness needs to tell the truth. this man is not guilty. he is being falsley accused
Il ne sait même pas si amy avait le mot de passe et ose dire qu il est sûr que c est Todd qui a fait toutes les recherches c est incroyable!
These lawyers (both sides) desperately need to revisit high school and go from there. Horrid grammar, lack of legal expertise and technological knowledge, The detective isn't too bright either. Wow! The state should seriously consider replacing not only this "judge" (early retirement, at best) but the prosecutorial team as well. If this was my defense team I'd have fired them, day one..
These "professionals" obviously scored at the bottom 10% of their class. Good Lord! So sad!
A surgery that had nothing to do with organs? Are there procedures done that dont involve our organs? I'm so confused
You’re not confused. Even if you had knee surgery, you have to penetrate the skin(organ).
U asked the right question
Organs is vague. It could be about someone sick or a TV show, there is no context.
@@sing2me the word surgery gives context but it's ridiculous to to say it had nothing to do with organs because every surgery has to do with organs🤷♀️
@@robyndawn it is a non-specific search. There is no "surgery" presented in this search. The fact is there is "organs" in the search, not surgery, not vital organs, nothing. They have convicted him of murder and this the bait. Oh someone (we'll say it's Todd Mullis because we're framing him) looked up organs in the middle of the night. (Off by 5 hours but no one heard that.) There is absolutely no way a benign search has context. They have inserted themselves as factual when they are presenting conjecture. Todd Mullis' attorney was a hack. Inept for a murder trial.
How does anyone think they can get away with murdering their spouse ... You will be the first one they look at especially if the other person is having an affair.. An never search anything to do with killing on ur computer if u gonna kill someone..
A man can use Pinterest. Omg!

He is so wrong about so much !! I pray the defense knows +shows it.
@josie it is scary how much the so called detective is factually wrong about..... and that this man was convicted is just WRONG. I pray his appeals are successful.
@josie So if the "investigator" found and bracelet stuck in the dead wife hair and it had name of jerrys wife on the broken bracelet......he would ignore it bcz it doesn't fit with Todd being killer?? How do these slimeballs sleep at night ? I rarely am on side of the defense but every bone in my body says Todd was set up....either by intent or ignorance. May God bless the children.
@josie ok thank you Josie, I got so frustrated with the young detective guy I didn't ever finish watching this part.

Google could provide documentation for searches from a specific device but i do not believe what is being entered into evidence is that specific requests.
The dog carrier, according to the son was about 15 to 18 lbs, it is much heavier than what Amy was recommended by the doctor to lift. Why Todd asked Amy to go to the red shed to do this.
it was 4 days after her dnc, she would no longer be under weight lift restrictions. i speak from first hand info
“Flat affect”? Ummm perhaps the guy was in SHOCK!! Not only is he dealing with his wife’s death and grief, and the grief of his kids, he is now told he is being charged with murdering his wife!!!! He probably didn’t say he didn’t do it because he was so confused!
And Christy, the wife who got cheated on, only had to say she was working at a community benefit. No need to check on that. She told her husband and her son she was there so she was definitely there. They even brought Some stuff too her in the afternoon (after Amy was already found dead).
If someone got on my laptop right now...it.would show searches under my account as I never signed out. 🤦♀️
sing2mesoprano I did not get the thread of message, but read Exodus 23:19 and this shows the power of the soul, the power we have to deceive erverybody else, to do cunning things, to defraud, to utilize other people.
